That morning, it had been about ten minutes Maureen was standing in front of the door of her room. He looked at the door of Byan's room that was still tightly closed with a restless feeling. In his hand he held a ticket that he would give to Byan.
Maureen's legs are starting to ache. He walked to and fro, measured the distance of his steps and then returned to his original position. Really, he's not someone who likes to wait like this. But for the sake of being able to directly meet Byan, he was forced to peg for a while there.
His steps immediately came to a halt and immediately his attitude was perfect when he heard the sound of the rotating door handle. In a flash, he prepared to welcome Byan out of his room.
Sure enough, not for a minute, the well-dressed shadow of Byan appeared from behind the door of his room. Maureen immediately greeted him with a smile. A smile she never gave anyone before. His rows of teeth were white like pearls, as if contrasting with a slightly reddish lipstick.
“Why?” asked Byan who was suspicious of Maureen's whereabouts in front of his room. Her stepmother was like she was really waiting for her to come out.
Maureen did not immediately answer, she first offered the ticket to Byan.
“What is this?” Byan still tidied up his suit before taking the ticket out of Maureen's hand and reading it for a while.
“Ticket to bali?” Byan looked at Maureen not understanding.
“Yap, right!” sahut Maureen with great zeal.
“What dream did you give me to Bali?” Byan smiled obliquely, he looked at Maureen's face to see what intrigue her stepmother was preparing.
“Don't get me wrong, there's something I should explain.” Maureen said, trying to stop Byan's mind from not doing it.
Byan did not chim in, he just stood by waiting for Maureen to explain her point. Byan wanted to see, after yesterday breaking his presentation, this time trick what else his stepmother would do to him.
“So gini, our company is developing a resort in Bali. Incidentally, after the death of your papah, the resort was nothing stiff. The builder may be abandoned when only about twenty percent more everything will be finished.”
“Well, I mean, I want you to continue that project. Unfortunately if not resolved because the costs incurred are very large. The location is also strategic and will most likely be very interesting to tourists.”
“So, you go to Bali and please lead the construction of the resort. Count holidays too.” Urai Maureen with confidence.
Byan does not stop. He walked over to Maureen, making the woman instantly alert with her round, bulging eyes. He slightly pulled his body away especially when suddenly Byan touched his forehead with his palm in full.
“You think I'm sick?!” decik Maureen patted Byan's hand.
“And think you I'll believe?” asked Byan while leaning Maureen's body. Staring at those patterned eyes fixedly while smiling obliquely. The distance between the two was close enough that Byan could see the presence of a mole under Maureen's right eye.
“Why not believe? I'm really doing well and offering this project wholeheartedly. Than you know the Edwin project whose concept is like the tower of pisa yesterday?” Timpal Maureen turned her face away. He took one step back and stood side by side showing his serious expression.
“Since when did you trust me? Aren't you pretty sure that I can't run this business?” Byan couldn't believe it that fast.
“Yes, I do not believe that giving a project that must be pioneered from zero kayak elite housing yesterday. Yes, the construction permit of the culvert has not yet come down, the process will be very long and it will be difficult for beginners like you."
"But if the project is finishing. After all, this project used to be held the same mas Edwin before it was taken over by Papahmu because Edwin embezzled development funds and licensing resorts.”
“Waw! Very interesting oration.” Byan clapped his small hands.
“Have you ever been a motivator before? It seems like your tongue is very easy to say positive things and sound sweet.” Again, Byan tried to test the woman. He wanted to counter some of Maureen's taunts.
“Hah, it's hard to talk to people who don't want to grow. Want to be called an heir but do not want to do anything. The light must be pressed on the socket so it will turn on and you, just want to accept the results? Haha... funny once.” Replacing Maureen who retorted byan.
“This is the ticket, want me to give to the developer from outside. There is no point in relying on an heir who only wants the throne without effort.” Maureen reached out her hand to ask for a ticket.
“You're serious?” Byan still did not trust Maureen completely.
“I told you, here return it if you do not believe.” Maureen insisted on asking for the ticket.
But Byan didn't give it to him. “What should I prepare?” ask Byan later.
“Well, so dong!” sahut Maureen's.
“Wait here.” Tell him before he goes into the room and picks something up.
“Learn this.” Maureen gave a bundle of documents to Byan.
Without much consideration Byan accepted it. He opened the document for a moment.
“I learned first.” Byan held up the document to Maureen.
Maureen just sniffed her small shoulders. He pretended not to care. After Byan agreed, he went down first for breakfast.
Without Byan knowing, Maureen gave a small smile. No, that's a pretty big smile.
“He got into the trap.” Maureen sent a message to Tifani.
“I mean lo, I'm actually on vacation in Bali with stepson lo?” tifani quickly replied. The woman was waiting for news from Maureen and it turned out to be really good news that she received.
“Emang when have I ever failed to persuade someone?” maureen asked Tifani.
“Hahahaha.. Mo, you are the best. Twenty-second century widows of judah. No one can stop the sly widow of a billionaire like lo.” Either praise or ridicule Tifani wrote, but this was enough to make him smile triumphantly.
After this, Byan had to prepare to get into the trap that Tifani had prepared and victory for Maureen was already visible in plain sight.
