Byan could not hide his feelings of pleasure as Maureen appeared at the door to help him prepare. Unexpectedly, the man hugged Maureen tightly until his stepmother was startled.
“Thank God you're back.” Said Byan gratefully. His tall, arched body, encased the body of Maureen who was no taller than him.
“You take a day off it feels like a long time. Riswan and your replacement PA can't take care of me very well. They always piss me off. My job they messed up. You are my best PA, no one can replace a Maureen with two or three others.”
Not nothing has been the complaint that Byan told Maureen. Maureen until fixated, confused to respond to the attitude of her stepson.
“You're overdone Byan.” Maureen tried to let go of Byan's embrace which felt stifling to her.
Byan's hug came off and the man looked at Maureen in a clueless manner.
“What is excessive? I'm telling the truth.” Byan insisted on his words.
Maureen stared at Byan for a moment, then exhaled violently.
“Prepare. You had a meeting with management this morning.” Maureen encouraged Byan's body not to get in her way. He went into the room and prepared the clothes of Byan.
“Hey Maureen, I haven't finished my problem story,” protest Byan. He still needs Maureen's time to listen to his story.
“It's already six in the morning Byan, which means my work has already started as a PA. Please don't vilify the other PA in front of me, be professional. If you think there are fewer of them, you direct them directly so that they improve their attitude. Not even vent like that.” Maureen chimed in while still preparing Byan's clothes.
Byan approached Maureen and stood before the woman.
“You mean I can't confide and complain about Riswan and the PA?” Byan looked at his stepmother with no understanding.
“Bby, it's just that now is not the time. You have to hurry and prepare everything. And again, I'm not a good confiding friend. I don't like to listen to things that smell like drama. So, you confided the same wrong person.” Maureen smiled wryly. He swung the shirt onto Byan's body. Feels appropriate.
“Use this one. But before that, go shave. Your beard is thick and untidy,” Maureen said later.
Byan doesn't chim in. He just breathed his breath rough hearing Maureen's words which he thought were annoying. He went to the bathroom and started shaving the fine hair on his jaw and chin and whiskers.
“It's been hard on my life, no one wants to hear my complaints. Though I know, PA should be able to be a good friend to the director.” Look, Toddler's starting to chirp again.
Maureen just smiled at his place, his ears were always amused whenever he heard the ravings of Byan all day yesterday not heard. Wait a minute, why did he start to feel that Byan's babbling was funny?
“You want coffee or tea?” Maureen prefers to ask the drink that Byan wants to drink.
“Susu.” Byan knows the origin.
“Brown or vanilla?” uh her stepmother took her seriously.
“Akh shit!” byan grunts. He should have heard Maureen's rant, right? Not even given the option to continue to choose drinks that he did not like.
“Vanila.” He had to choose.
“Nasi padang.” Byan deliberately challenged him.
Maureen fell silent, making Byan smile. Byan was sure soon his stepmother would babble.
“Your stomach is not too healthy, you should avoid coconut milk and thick spices. Can I make some sandwich?” bargain Maureen.
“Fill bread does not match vanilla milk.”
“Will I make fruit juice. What fruit do you like?”
“HAHAHAHAHA FRUIT... What is it?" Byan pretended to laugh but a second later his face returned to his factory suit, cold.
"Dyan!"
"What?"
“I'm not kidding.”
“I'm being serious. I also do not like the tone of your voice that stiff and boring.”
The two people looked at each other from the mirror in the bathroom. Like there's a laser beam from both eyes and trying to knock each other out.
“Well, since you have no choice, I will make the juice that I think suits you,” Maureen threatened.
“Please. I believe your choice has always been the best choice for me.”
“BYAN!!”
“Ya Maureen's. Why do you always call my name? You miss me?” challenge Byan with a faint smile.
“Crazy! How could I miss a crazy person like you?” decik Maureen with a slumber.
The woman immediately left Byan's room while Byan only chuckled as it managed to upset his stepmother. His efforts to seek Maureen's attention have been successful. He went on to shave the fine hair on his chin while smiling and,
“AKH!! SHIT!!” he exclaimed loudly as it turned out that his razor had injured his chin.
“Maureennn, my chin is cut!!” exclaim Byan.
Maureen still heard Byan's voice faintly, but she just smiled and continued her steps towards the kitchen.
"I thought!"
