“Meet me now.”

A line of messages was received by Riswan through his chat application. The sender was none other than Edwin. Men who all day are busy dealing with family demands of victims of work accidents.

“Good, Mr.” Riswan immediately replied. He walked a long way to Edwin's office.

“Excuse me, Mr.” The middle-aged man knocked on Edwin's open door.

“Come.” Edwin immediately stood up, choosing to sit on the sofa so that he could have a casual conversation with Riswan.

Riswan obediently approached Edwin and sat down on the sofa his master had appointed.

“What is the decision byan?” Edwin spoke at the core.

Riswan did not answer, he glanced at Melda first. Maybe she was afraid that Melda would hear their conversation.

“Oh, this girl?” Edwin looked at Melda.

Riswan did not answer he just fell silent.

“Go to your room, don't eavesdrop. Pake the headset that you usually use to compete like the radio broadcaster,” Edwin said to Melda who hoby listening to music.

“Good, Sir. I excuse.” Melda nodded politely and immediately went to her room.

Unfortunately, he did not obey Edwin's orders entirely. According to Melda, there is a ban on orders, so he chose to eavesdrop from the door of his room to steal the hearing of the two men's conversation. Maybe there's something important he needs to know.

“What Byan has made?” edwin asked again.

"No, Mister. It seems like the young master is still confused."

"Huh, this is confusing. What's the point of him sitting in the helm's chair if he doesn't take care of such a small matter. Tell him to come down and give that position to someone who deserves it." Edwin spoke with the sarcasm.

Riswan did not chim in, he only listened to the words of one of his great masters.

"Try it, you talk to Byan again. Influence him to solve this problem in the way I suggest. Didn't this work before?" edwin's speech ended with a cynical smile on Riswan.

Riswan still chooses silence. He was thinking of the best way to talk to Byan.

"You can't lose to that woman Riswan. I see, the more here you come, the more you support the two people you should get rid of. You want, I'll tell them what you've actually done?"

Riswan's silence even resulted in a threat from Edwin. He knows very well, how to suppress the Anggoro belief.

"What Do You Mean, Sir? What would you like to tell the young Master and Madam?" This time Riswan stared back at Edwin.

"Hahahahaha. What if I mean it? You sure you still dare to stand on your feet and face those two fools?" Edwin's question made Riswan more cornered.

"Please if you want to talk. Of course I will not hesitate to withdraw your hand to get into the problems that Mr. caused. I won't let my hands not get dirty alone." Riswan threatened back, making the cynical smile that appeared on Edwin's lips fade.

"Don't fuck around!" very quickly Edwin reacted and grabbed Riswan's collar.

But Riswan seemed calm, as if he did not care about his master's rebuke. Moments later, Riswan grabbed Edwin's hand which was on his collar and took it off by force.

"Don't like fishing in the murky waters of the Master, because the Master will only get garbage," the old man said as he stood up. Not forgetting he tidied up his messy shirt because of Edwin's hand grip.

"I'm sorry" he said before he left, leaving Edwin who was snarling with annoyance.

"Dammit!!! You old man bastard!!" edwin exclaimed after Riswan exited his study and left the door of his room open.

By nightfall, Maureen had just returned home. The sound of the roar of his car engine made Byan stunned. Byan, who had just finished dinner, chose to wait for Maureen on the second step of the stairs to the second floor. He wanted to see Maureen's condition after this morning so emotional because of the family demands of construction employees.

There are many things he wants to ask, although he has to be patient and see first Maureen's emotional condition.

"Good night, ma'am," said the maid who greeted Maureen.

"Night," Maureen replied lazily. It was obvious that his face looked very tired.

"Would you like dinner now, ma'am?" without showing his face, the servant continued his question.

"No, I'm not hungry. I just want to rest." While walking Maureen took off one by one her earrings. It doesn't feel comfortable enough.

"If the Madam needs anything, the Madam can call me."

"Hem," only that Maureen said before actually leaving.

Just a few steps taken, he got a restriction from his stepson. Byan scutches in the way of Maureen.

"Where's this whole day?" asked Byan curiously.

Maureen stared at Byan for a moment then threw her breath out violently.

"We're talking tomorrow, today I'm so tired." It seems that Maureen is reluctant to discuss any issues with Byan.

He chose to continue his steps leaving Byan, but when he climbed to the first rung, Byan instead deliberately blocked his path.

"Do you know you have to be professional? And you also know that leaving suddenly without telling your boss is so rude?" Among the warnings or longings expressed byan.

"I'm sorry, BOSS!" maureen lightly put emphasis on the last word she said.

"May I rest now?" He looked at Byan defiantly. Look at his left eyebrow raised higher than the right one as well as his cold gaze.

"No! You haven't explained anything." Byan scuttle Maureen's steps and holds her hand tightly. He would not let the woman go.

Maureen shook Byan's hand violently. "I don't want to play around" he said cynically.

"And I won't let you go. Think you'll just shut up after you make me dizzy seven-round?" Byan again grabbed Maureen's hand.

They stared sharp for a moment.

"You think I'd care about your dizziness?" this time Maureen smiled sarcastically, completely unconcerned. Again, he shook his hand from Byan.

"One more thing, I'm on leave tomorrow. So please don't bother me. This request is not only as your subordinate but also as your stepmother." Maureen spoke firmly making Byan look at her cluelessly. Why is Maureen's anger becoming so apparent?

"Good night, BOSS!" pamit Maureen later. He no longer cared what Byan thought of him.

"Damn!" byan snorted when he saw Maureen passing by from before him. Somehow he lost his reason for holding the woman to stay by his side.

Then Maureen's request for leave, he didn't hear wrong, did he? What about his days tomorrow, can it be passed without Maureen?
