Stepmom Cold Bed

Stepmom Cold Bed
Anggoro Family

The usually quiet night, this time it sounded crowded. The roar of the engine of a luxury sedan car that entered the courtyard of the magnificent Anggoro house became a breaker of silence that night. Passengers descended with wary gazes sweeping around the magnificent mansion of Anggoro.

Who else if not Ruwina who was sitting in a wheelchair and Edwin who was walking, pushing the woman from behind.

Maureen, who had just finished dinner, was quite surprised to get an unexpected visit from Ruwina and Edwin. Though they have said that they do not want to set foot again in this house but now they come with a proud and confident step.

"Did they eat wrong?" Maureen smiled slightly as she gulped down her drink elegantly. It seemed like he had to prepare to face those two stubborn people.

Ruwina deliberately came to look around the house that used to be the proud home of the Anggoro family. The house he left two years ago because of a great debate between him and Anggoro until Anggoro had a heart attack.

They were forced out of the house because Anggoro asked him to leave the house. Anggoro feels uncomfortable living one roof with his mother and sister.

Two years ago, this house became a special treatment place for Anggoro when his son had a heart attack and had to undergo surgery. There are only medics and Maureen and the ministries who live in this house.

“Goodnight mah, how are you?” greet Maureen kindly, to her mother-in-law.

Ruwina simply rolled her eyes in annoyance, not liking Maureen's pretence of being nice to her.

“Call Byan down, we need to talk.” Ruwina did not chim in, preferring to give orders to Edwin.

“Call young master!” edwin's word to one of the servants.

The servant glanced at Maureen as if asking for permission and Maureen only gave a small nod, assuring her.

After getting the approval, the maid went up to the second floor to call out to Byan who was still inside her room.

“Please sit down, I'll host mamah and mas Edwin with your favorite food and drink.” Maureen said while giving orders to her servant with a glance.

As great as Ruwina's daughter-in-law, to be able to make everyone obey her.

The maid left immediately, leaving her hostess with the guests.

“We just want to talk for a while and it won't be long.” Cetus Ruwina's. With a lever on his wheelchair, he pulled over to move beside Edwin who had already sat down.

“Let me help mah.” Maureen touched the wheelchair handle and pushed it.

“I don't need your help.” Decik Ruwina while staring at the cynical daughter-in-law that she never expected.

“Alright, I don't like to force people either. Especially stubborn parents.” Maureen slightly leaned over her body and whispered in Ruwina's ear.

“Do not be insolent you!” exclaim that grim-skinned woman.

Maureen did not chim in, she just smiled a little and sat down first on the sofa. He remained with his expanding and graceful smile full of calm, as if to signal that he had never been intimidated by all the treatment of Ruwina and Edwin.

Not long after, Byan came down with casual clothes attached to his body.

“Byan, granddaughter.” Greet the old woman while stretching out her hands.

Byan approached her and hugged the old woman.

“Did that woman feed you? Why grandma feels you're skinny.” Said Ruwina shortly after her embrace was broken. He looked at his grandson's face with a stern look.

Maureen smiled cynically at her mother-in-law's insignificant question. He was staring at her face from Byan who was staring at her for a while.

“Yes, I ate quite a lot here. Where could I let food bought with Anggoro money be thrown away. Very dear isn't it?” cynical Byan who occasionally glanced at Maureen.

“Waahh, blood is thicker than water, everything in my husband's family is very similar. Including your way of talking who really likes to insinuate and cynical.” Timpal Maureen with an expanding smile as if amazed at this family.

“If you feel there is no match with our family, you should know yourself enough and get out of the way. Why do you still survive in this house?!” right no, Ruwina's sentence was always cynical.

“Sorry mom, but I'm an obedient wife. For the next three months I'm not going anywhere. I'm afraid Anggoro is worried about me in nature.” Timpal Maureen relaxed. He nodded his head in a woman who always growled annoyed at him.

“Hemh! Shameless!” decik Ruwina as she glanced.

Maureen chimed in casually and did not bother with her mother-in-law's usual speech. He had even received a rougher treatment than this and it could never be forgotten.

Maybe that's what makes Maureen try to look brave in order not to be stepped on. There should no longer be any attitude or words of Ruwina that belittled him.

The servants came to bring him food and drink and served him on the table. Enough to have a full table.

“Please enjoy. The trip to this house is quite far, you must be tired and thirsty.” Bidar Maureen in a relaxed manner.

“Of course. All this was bought with my son's money, of course I have the right to enjoy it.” Timpal Ruwina sipped a cup of tea.

“Mamah didn't check it first? Though I like the prank of entering the potion into someone's drink. Maybe after this mommy even really likes me.” Maureen's words pawed and frightened her mother-in-law.

"You're crazy!"

Ruwina immediately put down her glass violently. The water in his mouth almost spilled back.

“Ahahahhahaha. Looks like mamah still can't be joked. Though laughing it is very good to reduce wrinkles on the face.” Say casual Maureen while sipping her drink.

He slightly watched his mother-in-law's irritated expression. The corner of his lips until twitching restrained the anger and mockery. But Maureen relax.

“What's om and grandma visiting here?” The most sane Byan tried to start the conversation normally.

“We want to negotiate with this woman.” Edwin pointed at Maureen with the corner of his eye.

“With me? What do we want to negotiate mas?” Maureen pretends to be enthusiastic. He put down his cup and listened to Edwin's question.

“We offer two deals, first, you can get this house but, you are willing to cross his inheritance from the will of Anggoro mas. Or, we're going to face off in court to fight over the inheritance and we see, who's finally going to have to step away from the company and the house. How?” edwin asked directly at his point.

“Waaahh, Edwin seems to be very anxious to make me lose. How about I reject all Edwin's offers?” challenge Maureen.

Edwin did not answer, he smiled cynically at Maureen. Of course he had expected that this woman would reject his offer.

“Of course your life will not be quiet because we will forever compete. Put each other down until you give up on your own. Think carefully Maureen, the three of us, we have more ways than you. While you are, no one is on your side.” Edwin smiled demeaningly at Maureen.

“Heemm. Unfortunately my thinking is not that desperate.” Maureen sat quietly in her place.

“There are three people who think they can't necessarily win from being alone. Because it is possible, with three heads there are three egos as well. I'm sure, you have your own goals and not necessarily the same.”

“So. I know my purpose and I know the way to get there. So if you guys want to work together, yes go ahead. Please compact yes...” Maureen's message without the slightest fear.

"Today's incident in the boardroom, just a welcome party for my dearest stepson. I hope you guys like it and will never forget its deep impression."

Maureen could see Edwin's clenched hand holding in fury. Also look into his eyes trying to slap Maureen. Unfortunately, there was not the slightest bit of bitterness in Maureen's mind, facing this man.

“If you still want to talk, please. I want to rest first. Good night.” He said as he left. He did not want to sit there for long.

He walked leisurely but after some distance, then he breathed a sigh of relief. Using a lot of masks is not easy. But he had to do it. To take revenge on this family.

“Crazy women! Get greedy! Don't know yourself!” yells Ruwina with annoyance.

Either formed from what exactly the woman was to not have the slightest fear.

While Ruwina was cursing, Byan only smiled faintly looking at and hearing all of Maureen's demeanor. He must admit that this woman's mentality is very strong. He was curious to continue the game. He was very curious, what exactly made Maureen so stubborn to defend against the Anggoro family.

Because of money? Feels not.

"Women are unique." Inner Byan who smiled small in heart.
