Stepmom Cold Bed

Stepmom Cold Bed
Last meeting

Ever since Riswan came to the house, he saw the empty and angry gaze of the woman named Renita. Riswan's hand trembled as he put a large black bag on the table containing hundreds of millions of dollars as funeral money as suggested by Edwin.

“You came as a contractor messenger or Anggoro?” the firmness of Renita's question was exactly the same as Maureen's firmness whenever she asked. Every time he saw Maureen, it was like he was talking to Renita.

“I come on behalf of personally, Mistress.” Riswan calmly said. He was ordered to come by Edwin but he did not dare to mention the name Anggoro, because his great master was innocent and did not know anything.

“Well, apparently you felt very sorry to see what happened to my husband until you came alone. Is it because you know that my husband died not in an accident?” renita's questioning and sharp search makes Riswan difficult to say.

“I thought, my husband's company wouldn't behave like this. They only know how to profit without caring for the lives of their workers.” Renita showed me a pile of files from her investigation. Everything related to her husband's death is in that file.

“What does Anggoro know this?” he patted the file in front of Riswan.

Riswan did not answer. He tried to calm himself first.

“I understand very well that Madam is deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved husband. However, I need to inform you that this case is currently closed and considered an accident. I hope, Madam can accept this verdict.” Riswan calmly said. His sentence sequence was exactly the same as Edwin's.

The man told Riswan to follow his directions. Do not make a mistake because it will endanger the position of his great master who is very respectful, namely, Anggoro. Then he boldly told Renita all this.

“You mean, my fact searches are all for nothing?” Renita asked softly.

Riswan was downcast, he somehow had to explain this to Renita.

“Your legal team also said that they stopped accompanying you to sue the contractor company and Anggoro Corp.”

“What did you say?!” that one sentence managed to get Renita's courage gathered to attack Riswan. He gripped the collar coat Riswan tightly and his sharp gaze like he wanted to skin the contents of Riswan's head.

“Hey, look at this jerk! What you are doing is negligence! Not an accident!” Renita took the file she had and threw it in Riswan's face.

“I'm sorry Madam. But this case is closed and you do not have strong evidence to sue the contractor or Anggoro corp.” Riswan persisted with his attempt to speak firmly to Renita.

“PLAK!!”

Renita slapped Riswan until the man's face turned away. Not only that, he also grabbed back the collar of Riswan's coat very tightly, until the veins on his finger were visible and one button of Riswan slipped off.

“You have played with the life of someone who worked earnestly for you. You even go one by one when you see clearly if there is an error here.”

“How difficult is it to admit your mistakes? Do you feel that your position is too high so that no strong wind can blow and will damage you? Is it your ego to just apologize and admit your mistakes?” renita's speech was so clear and full of emphasis as well as her sympathetic smile that looked cynical grinning.

“I'm sorry madam, personally. And corporately, we make a very sorry.” That was the only word Riswan said.

Renita chuckled with her red and wet round eyes. It could be seen clearly that the woman was very disappointed and desperate.

“Go, I don't want to talk to idiots like you anymore. Go then! Get out of my sight!!” renita at the end of her sentence.

Riswan doesn't chim in. With a heavy heart he moved from his place and then nodded politely at Renita. Renita responded with a cynical smile. Then the man left and half an hour from it, he got the news that Renita chose to end his life.

Could he have prevented the incident if he had not obeyed Edwin's orders?
