Kanaya feels insulted, why it should always be about money, first with Doni and now with Alex despite being in a different place.

Kanaya returned Madam Maria's gaze, "I can't leave my husband." He answered politely, but firmly and his mother-in-law's face immediately became angry and without a word left the room.

Kanaya woke up the next morning. However, he does not find Alex next to him, making him wonder where he spent the night. He knew that their marriage was only a charade, but he had to treat her as a wife, in the eyes of both of his parents.

There was a knock on the door, finally, he chose to lower his legs to see who was coming. It must be her mother-in-law who will blaspheme her again.

"Breakfast is ready, Noan," the waiter spoke kindly as he lowered his head. 

"Don't be like that!" said Kanaya who was unfamiliar with this kind of treatment. "What's your name?" ask Kanaya. He felt he was not someone to be respected.

"Sary, Miss Kanaya," he answered still hesitantly looking at the face of his mistress' wife.

 "You have a good name" said Kanaya.

Mary looked into the young lady's eyes for a moment and nodded. He said nothing to respond to the praise, fearing wrongdoing and causing him to lose his job.

"Listen, Sary, you don't have to be so formal with me, okay. You know, I'm new here and we could be friends, would you mind being my friend?"

“No, Young Miss,” Sary replied enthusiastically. He glanced at his boss' new wife and wondered what kind of woman he was? So he wanted to be friends with a mere servant like himself.

 Kanaya smiled, relieved to feel, she could have a friend in this house, where she did not know anyone and her mother-in-law was hostile to her.

"So, what breakfast?" kanaya asks him to try to get along with his new friend. He had no friends anymore, his only friend had betrayed him.

 "Fried rice, eggs, and some vegetables," Sary answered quickly.

 "That sounds really good, I'll be right down after the shower" Kanaya said.

"Do you need help?"

"No Sary, I'm fine, you can go" Kanaya replied.

Kanaya quickly put on one of the dresses she chose before she got off.

At the dining table many served meals, which he thought would be redundant if not eaten by them. He looked around the house, hoping to see Alex who from the night he hadn't seen.

 "Don't bother looking for her" said the Lady Mary, and all the servants hurried away.

"It's like you didn't spend the night with her" said Maria.

Kanaya sneered at her insinuation, "No problem, we're fine."

"Are you sure you're both okay? If you're okay, he'll spend the night and even the whole day with his new wife and not out there, maybe he's hugging another woman right now" she said.

"You guys just came here, shouldn't he accompany you to settle down before doing anything else?" madam Maria said again, when she saw Kanaya speechless.

"I believe whatever he does, he won't leave me alone. He'll be right back" Kanaya turned around and returned to her room before she filled her stomach.

He must change himself to be strong, and dare to fight those who oppress him so that he is not oppressed by them. Honestly, he cursed himself who never got a lucky destiny. Maybe this is his life line that is always winding to get to the point of happiness.

Alex had called his papa's personal assistant the night before, arranged a meeting with him, they were to meet at the coffee shop the next day. He knew the assistant was loyal to his father and would help him with whatever he wanted.

That night he had spent the night in his papa's den trying to read the business catalog, he had to take charge of his papa company until he woke up from his coma. He will do everything to keep the company running until his father wakes up and will leave it to whom later. Actually he was not interested in this business, his eyes hurt because he saw so many numbers and so many writings.

He rubbed his eyes and glanced at his watch, already showing 03.00 in the morning, he knew he should be in his room with Kanaya. But he thought of giving her time, after all, she was just a stranger to him. He may need some alone time to adjust to this new life, so he decides to sleep in the study.

Alex wakes up before anyone wakes up and sets out to meet his papa's personal assistant, Jake. 

"I'm glad the Young Master is back home. The big master will be very happy if the young master comes home" said Jake.

Alex nodded. Then Jake showed his master's schedule before he got sick, he had a lot of meetings that had been canceled. Jake points to a meeting that is missed, which affects the business on the company.

Alex and Jake talk at length, almost an hour they discuss papa and company.

 "I'll call you when I need your help" Alex said, nodding Jake.

 After Jake leaves, Alex sits down for a moment contemplating what he will do ahead. Now he has to go home and change for the promise he has today.

Alex stands to get out, but as he steps he bumps into someone.

"Yes God! I'm sorry."

Alex heard a very familiar voice, he immediately raised his head. 

"Alex" said the woman.
