"I'll take you to the doctor" Alex told him as soon as Kanaya got out of the bathroom. The look of worry for the condition of the woman in front of him.

"I'll be fine, I'm sure yesterday ate too much of that cake. Maybe my stomach doesn't agree because I eat very greedily" Kanaya explained.

Alex seemed unsure, "Are you sure?"

Kanaya nodded and said, "I'll take a hot bath, then eat something and I'll be fine".

"Lying down, I'll prepare warm water for you to take a bath and prepare your breakfast" Alex said quickly preparing hot water for Kanaya.

Alex helps Kanaya to soak in warm water, then leaves her to take breakfast.

Thirty minutes later, he waited twenty minutes for Kanaya to come out of the bathroom and the food was cold. He quickly entered the bathroom, saw her sound asleep in the bathtub, he leaned over nearby and stared at her for a few minutes.

"Your food is ready and it's almost cold, let's get up!" turn Alex as slow as possible so as not to surprise him.

"I'm sorry I overslept" Kanaya said. He hurried up to get a towel to cover his body.

Now he looks at himself in the mirror. He feels much better.

"Let's eat, hunt this cold later," asked Alex.

"Hmm, you're not eating?"

"I'll eat at the office, I stay huh. Don't forget to eat a lot so that you recover" said Alex. "Hmm, one more. You just rest at home, don't go out first" Alex advises.

"But, I'm fine" Kanaya argued.

"I don't want to listen to any excuses, listen to what I'm saying" Alex said and left because in an hour there will be an important meeting at the company.

"Where are you going?" sary asked him wide-eyed when he saw Kanaya dressed like she was going out.

"But Mr. Alex gave instructions that you should only stay in bed," said Sary looking around, another servant also looked at Kanaya as if he agreed with Sary's words.

"I'll be back before he arrives" Kanaya explained.

"Why not wait until he comes back and he will take you," suggested Sary who did not want to be in trouble.

Kanaya has now been living apart from mama Mariana. From then on, Alex does not want Kanaya to be seduced or harmed by her stepmother, and Sary follows her at Kanaya's request.

"Am I a prisoner in my own house? Kanaya snapping. "I'll be out for a while" Kanaya said in an angry tone.

Kanaya walks out the door in great disappointment, the guards also try to stop her but Kanaya's mind is already made and will not be hindered, she walks enjoying the fresh air.

Kanaya stands by the side of the road waiting for a taxi, refusing to use Alex's driver for her, though she has instructed the driver not to take her anywhere except for emergencies.

Kanaya suddenly heard the sound of a car horn and a screech of brakes, someone grabbed her hand.

"What are you doing?"

Kanaya looked up to look at Stefan's face.

"What are you doing here?" ask Kanaya back.

"I was just passing by when I saw you. Thank goodness I was here in time to save you," said Stefan.

Kanaya's body trembled as the reality of what had almost happened made her aware.

"Thank you" said Kanaya. Now his hands were shaking as he tried to remove his hair from his face.

Kanaya grimacing.

"Are you okay?"
