Chapter 15

A loud knock behind the door of his room made Kanaya quickly push Alex's body.

 "There's someone knocking on the door, I'd better see" Kanaya said, while Alex hissed disappointedly.

Kanaya quickly stepped her foot towards the door. With the movement of one of his hands, the door managed to open wide.

"Sir Alex is there?"

"There, there it is. You wait, I call him," Kanaya answered him and turned her back to call the empress who was being sought.

"Someone is looking for you" said Kanaya

Alex frowned. "Me?" 

Kanaya nodded.

"Tell him, I'll be down in a minute" Alex said.

Kanaya again nodded obediently.

"Wait downstairs, he'll be right down" Kanaya told the man in front of her as Alex had said. He closed the door and went back in.

There was an awkward silence as they stared at each other, "Who is that?"

"I don't know, I have to go and see it" Alex said, quickly wearing a T-shirt to head downstairs.

As he descended the steps one by one, his footsteps came to a halt when he saw Nicole. 

"What are you doing here?" yell Alex. 

Nicole stood up and came to him, while she kept smiling beautifully at him.

"Who let you in" said Alex.

"Guard, given that I am your future wife" Nicole said.

"Don't dream about it" whispered Alex holding back his anger.

Nicole pouted and her eyes moved as she said, "You promised to love me, you said naughty words in my ear, you said you married your wife out of pity and that you just did it, you said you married your wife out of pity, you should marry her out of pity, I know she looks pathetic. You have a soft heart, but what about our love?"

Alex was confused by his words, he was not. Not understanding what he was talking about but, before he could open his mouth and reply, he heard footsteps behind. He turned his head to look, it turned out that Kanaya was standing there, her eyes looking confused and hurt. He grabbed his hand, but he suddenly turned around and ran away as if he was looking at a ghost.

Alex turned to Nicole angrily.

"Get out!" 

Alex with her arms around her drags Nicole out of her house, until she falls to the floor.

Nicole never felt so humiliated when she walked out of this house, she would make sure she paid for this humiliation. He thought with a hint of satisfaction the look he saw on Alex's wounded and disillusioned wife.

 Even though it was nothing compared to the shame he experienced, he would make sure he would not be happy in the marriage. She is the only daughter of a famous businessman, her parents are rich, she does not want to deal with the playboy but the world does not know that her father will go bankrupt, he is a businessman, if he succeeds in marrying Alex in the future. Her father's company would all be fine, but the woman suddenly came in from nowhere.

Nicole wants to be betrothed to Alex at first it's just about her money for him, but when she sees it up close, she has a strong desire to have it for herself. It's not bad to have a handsome rich husband and he will have one, he is obsessed with

have it, whatever Nicole wants, she always gets it and nothing gets in her way, not even the woman she is.
