Chapter 20

"Since then" said Kanaya Ketus.

"You can't be friends with him" Alex insisted, then he walked away.

"Why can't you be friends with him?" ask Kanaya.

"Stefan is a good young man and charming and kind" Kanaya shouted.

Guests have gone home one by one, leaving them and some people who still want to enjoy the dishes.

Alex stopped suddenly, he turned to face his wife who had been loudly praising another man. He pulled Kanaya, and his hands wrapped around Kanaya's waist.

Kanaya's eyes are rounded as she suddenly finds herself in Alex's arms.

"Don't praise anyone other than your husband" Alex said.

"You can't stop me from being friends with Stefan" Kanaya explained.

"What's with him that you're so excited to be his friend?" alex asked curiously by looking at him.

"Because he is kind and offers his friendship," Kanaya replied as she showed her a row of white teeth.

"There are other good women out there to be friends with" Alex said coldly.

"So I can't be friends with men, but can you be friends with women?" Kanaya shot him.

"I'm a playboy, but you're not a Playgirl, so you're not allowed" Alex said.

Kanaya's brows furrowed, "You're so proud to be a playboy, aren't you?"

"Just like you, being so proud always reminds me that I'm a playboy."

 "But I'm going to stay friends with Stefan and it's been he's nice, handsome, and ...."

Alex squeezes Kanaya and cuts off her words, "Yes, go ahead, and what?" 

"Have stopped I can't breathe" said Kanaya, who was suffocating from the impact of Alex's heavy body.

Alex slowly moved away, and now he landed his weight on the couch.

Since the announcement of the marriage, Alex and Kanaya's relationship has grown closer. Today was the happiest day for Kanaya. Alex spends as much time as he can with her, he always looks forward to her coming home from work. I always felt impatient to be with him.

Tonight, as promised. They went to dinner together. The two sat facing each other, the waiter immediately ran towards them to record their order. They did not eat in a luxurious place, only in a simple place as per Kanaya's request.

After waiting for half an hour, their meal had come. With silence they enjoy their food 

"It just so happens to meet this lovebirds here," someone suddenly spoke from their side.

Alex and Kanaya turned to see who was greeting them. They saw Stefan standing next to Kanaya, and Alex's eyes suddenly became glared with displeasure at the unwanted disturbance. While Kanaya smiled hello.

"Stefan, what are you doing here?" Kanaya asked, her voice sounding happy. 

"Oh," Kanaya blushed at Stefan's reply, finally smiling and chuckling.

"Am I free to sit with you?" Stefan asked to see them both.

"Of course." Kanaya quickly replied. Unlike Alex who replied, "No."

Stefan glanced at Alex, "How's it?"

Alex did not reply, he hurried to stand up to leave. Kanaya, who sees Alex angry, apologizes to Stefan before standing up and running after Alex.

Stefan watched them leave.

"Alex, he's just trying to be friendly." Kanaya tries to calm him down, walking and running behind Alex. 

"Don't take care of me, Nay! If you really want to be friends with him, then move on. He's still there, sitting with him and doing whatever you want." Alex spoke a little snapping.

"Listen to me" asked Kanaya.

Alex did not answer, he opened the car door and went inside, he slammed it hard and started the car. Kanaya quickly got into the passenger side.

Now the car quickly darted out of the parking lot without asking where it was going.

 "Why are you so angry? If you hate her so much, then why did you invite her to our party?" ask Kanaya.

 Alex glanced at Kanaya, her jaw hardened.

"I invited my business partner and I didn't invite him personally, it was an open invitation to all" explained Alex who looked at Kanaya at a glance and turned his gaze to the street. "I didn't invite her to seduce my wife" Alex said.

"I'll do what you want, I'll get away from him, don't get angry anymore" Kanaya told Alex to follow her into the house.

Alex continued walking without saying a word, starting to enter the house, he still did not answer her as he opened the door and walked in.

 "Wait a minute" Kanaya pleaded. He was sad because he ignored it. 

Alex is still the same, keep quiet not talking.

Kanaya slowly walked towards him and hugged him from behind, putting both of her hands on Alex's stomach.

 "Please Alex, don't be like this anymore" whispered Kanaya.

Alex closed his eyes and sighed, his heart melted and his anger faded, he hugged her and kissed Kanaya on the forehead.

"Before I forgive you, I must punish you" Alex said.

"What?" Kanaya moved away from her embrace.

"Oh, dear wife, you will spend the rest of the night in a size bed as your punishment" Alex teased.

 "Aren't you going to pity me?"
