By the time Alex was on his way home, he had been estranged from his family for months. And a few days ago, his mother called him to return home that his father was seriously ill, and he would be the only heir that his father expected

He returned home and took over the family business and leadership, he remembered he had left home in anger and his father never got along just because he did not live from the same perspective as his father. He has a way of thinking too cheerfully and a playboy, and life should be made happy, while his father takes life seriously and makes good use of time. So he left the house.

At that time he decided to go home, after all it was a matter of life and death of his father.

On the way, he curses when someone suddenly runs into his car, "Damn it!"

Alex got out of his car and ran towards the victim he had hit. He saw that there was a woman dressed as a bride lying on the asphalt, he looked around and saw no one else. He also breathed a sigh of relief, then it will not be long story later. Suddenly the woman opened her eyes and whispered. "Save me," before falling unconscious.

Alex who heard that also cursed, this is not what he needs at this time. After he looked carefully he tried to remember her. He was no stranger to that face. He quickly took the unconscious woman into his car. His journey had to be postponed because of him, but he himself was now in a precarious state because his father was dying. He would leave her in the hospital and leave after that.

Along the way to the hospital, his cell phone kept ringing and he checked the incoming nickname. Seeing his mother's name, he rushed to shift the green button and hardened his phone call.

"Hallo, mah," said Alex..

"Where are you? Will you come?" ask Ana, Alex's mom.

"I'll come but not now mah, there's something coming up. I'll call you when this is done" replied Alex, who remained focused on driving so that the incident never happened again.

"What's showing up?" Her mother's desperate voice sounded from the other end.

"Well, Alex will explain!" Alex quickly closes his phone before his mother asks him more questions.

Arriving at the hospital, Alex takes her as an emergency patient. He immediately signed the necessary documents and saw them immediately take him to the ER to provide first aid. He should have been away and on his way, but he knew he was the reason he was here and he had to make sure he was okay before he left. However guilty and responsible for his carelessness, he sat in the waiting room for more than an hour before the doctor came out.

"How's he doing, Doc?" alex asks when he sees the doctor coming out of the ER room.

The doctor looked at her, "Are you her husband?"

Alex was surprised by the question, "What?!"

"Your wife is fine, she only had a minor injury but I have given her a few doses and she is fine, but she has to stay until tomorrow for some observation" the doctor explained.

"May I go see him?" Alex asked ignoring the doctor who referred to him as his wife.

"Oh, of course you can. You can see it, I noticed you just got married, congratulations" the doctor said.

Alex ignores the doctor's remarks and leaves before the doctor talks much more. He also came in to see her.

While Kanaya felt like she was hit by a truck, her head was dizzy with vision still not being able to see clearly. And the sleepiness began to break.

"Sorry about what happened just now. Oya, I need a phone number you can call?" Said Alex. However, he had to leave tonight because he wanted to see the condition of his father.

"Quiet down!" alex calms him down. "I saw you running away from someone. Remembering the clothes you're wearing right now" Alex said, who saw the woman in front of him wearing a white wedding dress.

Kanya fought back her increasing pain and her head was filled with that pain. He tried to sit down, grabbing the man's hand, "Please! I don't want to go back there, please!" Kanaya spoke in despair.

Alex tried to let go of the woman's hand. "What do you mean you don't want to go back? What do you want me to do?"

"Please save me!" kanaya Pinta again.

Alex frowned as the woman asked for help, thinking she was in danger. And he has to involve the police on this case, but if he involves the police then he will also be caught because he has hit him.

"How lady? How do you want me to save you?" ask Alex carefully.

Kanaya looked at him as if coming to a conclusion before saying, "Marry me!"

Alex was dumbfounded at his words, he laughed almost hysterically, he guessed the woman had hit his head so hard and it affected his thinking, "Wait! I have no intention of getting married anytime soon."

Kanaya immediately got up from her bed and looked at him desperately. "You must marry me! Help u! You have to save me!"

"Relax, you don't even know me, you can't just get married to a stranger" Alex said, reminding the woman in front of him that he is an adventurous type of man.

"I'm sure you're better than the jerk guy who was gonna marry me two hours ago. I need a place to escape, this is only for a while," Kanaya explained with a pleading face.

Alex looked at him as if considering it, "What do I get out of this? And what do you get from marrying me?

"Protection of a husband," Kanaya replied in a panic.

"And what do I get?" ask Alex to be curious. He does not want to marry without getting benefits.

Kanaya fell silent while answering the question of the man in front of her.

"I will forever be indebted to you, I will thank you very much" Kanaya said. Wanting to pay with money, he also had nothing.

Alex considered the woman's words, actually he currently needs a woman, in order to cancel the match made by his parents. Her mother had arranged a marriage for her with Luara, the woman her father had arranged who came from a very wealthy family, though, she was not an arranged marriage. Now he thought he would accept what this woman had to offer him. He does not need to argue too much with his father and mother who want the grandson, he will marry him and part with him after everything is done.

Kanaya observes him as she thinks of his offer, she is nervous but at this point, she does not think, she does not know with whom she is going to marry. But how he lived his life after marriage is not his business, he can live as he wants. He had run away from home without a dime and nowhere to go, he knew Doni would not be able to do anything when he knew he was married. Ironically, he ran away from one marriage and begged a stranger to marry him.

Alex looked at her and nodded, "I'll marry you on one condition."

Kanaya's heart pounded slightly as she waited for the condition that the man in front of her would say. He hopes to grant that request.
