Suddenly Wife
(Ken Series) News of Grief

After his studio, Ken returns to his mommy boutique. He will wait for Gitta there until Gitta finishes work. Ken also ordered lunch that day.

Ken's waiting for his lunch order in his mommy's room. She didn't know that mommy had gone home first.

Mommy's office door opens. Ken immediately looked. Gitta entered the room with her husband's lunch order.

"A lot of food?" Ask Gitta while putting her lunch on the table.

"Make me, you and mommy. Have Arin and Naura been given?" Ask Ken back.

"Already Mas. But, Mommy, there is no Mas. I was home first picked up by daddy." Said Gitta.

"Hhaha? Huh daddy's bottom really don't want to miss." Ken Gerrutu.

"Huhhuh, same with you. The fruit fell not far from the tree." Gitta Cibir.

"Lha, it's not always so." Answer Ken.

"meaning?"

"Yes, the tree could be on the edge of a cliff. So when the fruit falls, immediately plunged into the abyss. Haha." Answer Ken.

"It's just you." Gitta answered, blasting her lips.

After that, they went back to lunch that day.

Days change, weeks start. Gitta's college has entered the final semester exam. He was busy preparing for the exam which was about to start in three days. It's almost ten o'clock in the evening. Gitta had been reading her college book in the living room since after dinner. Ken let his wife prepare for her exams. He himself was checking his work just waiting for the finishing. Ken sat in a chair facing the window, while Gitta sat on the long sofa beside him.

"Mas, mommy when do you come home?" Ask Gitta in the middle of his activity reading lecture material.

Ken looked at his wife before answering his question. "Not knowing either. But daddy will likely be long. The company's problems in Singapore are a bit more complicated." Answer Ken.

Gitta looked at the face of the husband who was still focusing on his laptop.

"Would that be Mas?" Ask Gitta.

"Hhhmm"

"Why did you concede, Mas?" Ask Gitta.

"I don't know, I don't really know the problem either." Answer Ken.

Gitta refocused on her college books when her husband had no intention of discussing them further. However, Gitta's focus was again split when she heard her phone ring. He turned his head to look at his phone lying on the table and immediately grabbed it. Gitta immediately shifted the green icon when he found out the identity of the caller.

"Hallo Vit, what are these phone nights?" Ask Gitta after the phone call is connected.

"...."

"Innalillahi, where are you Vit?" Gitta asked half-calling. Ken who heard Gitta's voice turned his head. Netra her eyes could see the panic approaching the wife.

"Yes-yes I know. I'll be there soon. You are patient." Gitta replied while closing her phone. 

Gitta immediately turned to look at Ken's face who was watching him.

"What's wrong?" Ask Ken.

"Vita died Mas, now still in the hospital." Answer Gitta. "Take me there, ma'am." Gitta.

Ken immediately nodded. They got ready and rushed to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital, Gitta immediately looked for the whereabouts of the friend. Upon finding Vita, Gitta immediately hugged her best friend who was still crying sobbing. Gitta tried to strengthen him. 

There are several Vita family people there, but both Ken and Gitta do not find Gilang's whereabouts. Are they still backstreet? Think Ken. 

Not long after, Vita's father's body can be brought back to the funeral home. Gitta and Ken accompanied him. The arrival of the bodies was greeted by mourning from several families there. Gitta still accompanied the friend trying to strengthen him. 

The Vita family decided to bury the body of the father the next morning. That's because Vita's sister is still on her way. He wanted to see his father one last time.

The wall clock has shown at 00:35 in the morning. Ken and Gitta decide to go home and will return the next day. Arriving at home, Ken and Gitta immediately cleaned up and took a break. They were so tired that night.

"Mas, there's no field survey schedule today?" Ask Gitta who already knows Ken's schedule on Saturday.

"There is, but I've asked Bima to replace me." Answer Ken.

Not long after, Ken and Gitta have arrived at the funeral home. Some people were getting ready for the funeral. Gitta immediately walked into the house to meet the friend. Meanwhile, Ken, immediately joined the fathers in the front of the funeral home.

While Ken was chatting with someone known as Vita's neighbor, his eyes caught a familiar figure calling near the gate of the house. The figure that about two years was not found. Yes, he is Alfaro. Ken's best friend since childhood.

Ken walked up to Al who was standing to the left, so he did not know Ken's arrival. When he saw Al was done calling, Ken patted his shoulder slowly. Instantly Al turned and found the friend smiling thinly.

Al was shocked to find Ken there. The two friends hugged each other briefly and asked each other the news. They had not had a long chat, but Vita's father's body was about to be buried. Ken and Al decide to postpone their conversation.

That afternoon, Ken and Al were sitting together in a cafe not far from Vita's house. They decided to talk there. Ken leaves Gitta for a while at Vita's house, as she still wants to accompany her best friend.

"So, how did you get there?" Al asked shortly after they ordered the food.

Ken who has not told Al if he is married becomes confused to explain. However, he still had to explain that to Al.

"Ehm, I actually married Al. And, Vita's my wife's best friend." Answer Ken.

"Hhaaa, have you married Ken?" Al was surprised.

"Hmmmm. Sorry, the show's impromptu, so no word." Answer Ken.

Al frowned while looking at Ken's face. "wasn? Don't tell me lo.." said Al didn't go on with his words.

Ken who understood the meaning of Al immediately cut his words. 

"Just boy. Don't you. I'm not nagging yet." Answer Ken.

Hearing Ken's reply, Al could only smile while shaking his head.

"Then, how does the story say you can marry impromptu? You guys dating?" Al asked, still curious.

Their food order has arrived. They eat it while occasionally telling stories. Ken stared at his best friend's face for a while before he finally began to tell her the truth. Al occasionally chimed in on Ken's story.

"So, now you can take your wife?" Ask Al.

Ken nodded, confirming Al's question. "Yes, I can take him. In fact, I've started to get hooked on him. Haha." Ken replied with a laugh.

"Basic. Antarctica could melt too." Said Al.

"Then, how did you get to Vita's house?" Ask Ken pretending not to know.

Al exhaled his heavy breath before answering Ken's question.

"City …."
