"Angela, Angela Kurniawan" said Vanno. "She is the sister of Jessika Kurniawan, the daddy secretary who has ruined our happiness." continued Vanno.
Vanno's eyes glistening in red held back the anger. His jaw hardened with the sound of teeth shaking indicating he was holding back his growl.
Retta was surprised to hear Vanno's explanation. "Jessika's sister?" ask Retta. "Why is he bullying our family, Mas?" continued.
Vanno still looks furious if he remembers the two brothers. He exhaled a rough breath before answering Retta's question. Subsequently, Vanno begins to tell Retta the true events.
"Then, Jessika was able to work in a daddy company because of a recommendation from a daddy friend, Joni Putra. At first, everything went well, until my grandfather died. It started from there. As it turns out, this Joni has planned to destroy the daddy company, even taking over it with the help of Jessika. During that time, Jessika was the one who had helped to leak company information to the rival daddy. Joni and Arya, Amira's father, work together to overthrow the daddy company. Vanno was surprised to see Retta who was already glazed over. He thinks Retta is scared. Vanno immediately grabbed Retta's body and carried her into a hug.
"Don't be afraid. I won't let anything bad happen to you" Vanno said as she stroked Retta's hair slowly.
Retta who was already unable to hold back her tears, immediately tightened her embrace. He shook his head slowly at Vanno's chest. "I'm not afraid of bad things happening to me Mas, I'm afraid if bad things happen to you Mas, to mommy and daddy, to torch."
Retta blinked her watery eyes while raising her head to look at Vanno's face. Anxious to see Retta still trying to keep her tears from falling, Vanno immediately landed her lips on Retta's lips.
