That was the last page of the book. Shin closed it back down, and immediately returned to Rin's place.

As he walked, Shin heard his stomach rumble. And he quickened his footsteps. For some reason, Shin decided to quickly return to where Rin was.

Before exiting the hallway, Shin could faintly hear a soft voice, that voice echoing beautifully throughout the room coming from there.

Shin could instantly recognize the voice.It was unmistakable, it was the voice from Yuasa Rin's singing.

Shin replied to her briefly.

In a complicated situation, the sleeping bird had woken up and was suddenly in their midst.

The little bird let out a loud and satisfied chirp, as if he understood that they were giving him a name.

It must be some kind of marking. Are... are we really going to be the figures of father and adoptive mother…? This must be a joke. Nah! Nah! This is impossible, because we are human and Filo is animal! 

"We'll also bring Filo-chan, right?"

Rin blinked both eyes with a pitiful look.
