Since Rin no longer had the strength to sit, Shin helped her by holding her shoulder over her shoulder. Then carefully, Shin spilled one bottle of the potion into his mouth.

It was a healing potion, not wrong anymore. 

Shin had never experienced a high fever like Rin now, so he kept imagining how much pain Rin was feeling. And now he has understood a little bit about the real Rin.

She is a good girl, though pricelessly bad when it comes to being around people she hates. He would definitely be forthright with his sharp tongue, and always raise a small matter.

The only thing he thought about was how to cure Rin now.

"Whit…"

Filo jumped from the floor onto the mattress and lay down near Rin's face. Even so worried, Shin was not surprised that Filo jumped suddenly in front of his eyes. 

He looks sad. It seemed that Filo could also understand, feeling how much pain and suffering Rin was feeling at the time. Therefore, Filo thought of accompanying the figure of a mother to him.

Shin looked gloomy, his head kept bowing down waiting for a good reaction from Rin after drinking the potion. 

"When he wakes up, I have to apologize to him." murmured Shin. "I have to apologize to him. I have to apologize…"

He continued to mutter due to excessive worry. 

Not long after, Rin gave a small voice to calm Shin down.

"Thank you. love."

Hearing that voice, Shin reflex opened his eyes and stood up from the spot where he was sitting. Rin turned to see Shin's face when it looked pale, his eyes also looked marsupial because they never slept.

"I feel good. I just need a break for a second."

"I see."

At first he looked panicked, but after hearing his not-so-heavy words made him let out a long sigh of relief.

Rin turned his head again to the side, raised his hand out of the futon and stroked Filo's shoulder.

"Thank you too. Filo-chan, has accompanied me here."

"Don't force yourself, you better sleep for a while" Shin said.

Rin smiled. "You too…"

He whispered with a fading voice. Shin could realize his tone of voice was clearer as usual. While his hand was gripping Shin's shirt hinting that he didn't want Shin to go anywhere and wanted to always be around him.

Shin lowered his back to sit down. Somehow, he felt somewhat calmer than before. 

His chest rose and fell following his breath. He could also see the sleeping face of his classmates.

Rin has the sleeping face of an angel up close. Her half-closed lips had a plain charm.

Shin involuntarily touched her helpless cheek which was usually off limits to him. As she touched it with her fingertips, Rin opened her eyes.

He did not focus on looking at Shin. With a hazy awareness, he rubbed his cheeks like a cat.

Rin is pulled back into the real world. He got up from his sleep in a sitting position. Sweat flowed from his face, while hugging a pillow in place of a shield.

"Ke–why?! You plan to attack me?"

"I didn't do anything to hurt you. I just want to wake you up."

Shin explained.

Rin's previous innocent sleeping expression was now completely gone, replaced with one that was very carefully staring at Shin.

"You said you didn't do anything? Liars. Don't you want to use your fingernails to make a hole in my cheek?” 

Shin shivered on his back.

"Why would I want to do something so cruel?"

"Keep, what are you doing?!"

Rin hugged the pillow tightly and looked straight at Shin. This is no time to play dumb.

Shin let out a heavy breath.

"…Your sleeping face is so cute that I can't take my eyes off. I can't resist the urge to touch your cheeks. Sorry."

"What~…"

 Rin blushed in embarrassment.

He hid his face behind a pillow, and said in a small voice.

"A—what are you saying seriously…?"

"Yes…"

"I-cute, to what extent…?"

Shin shook his head and lowered his head to give an apology in guilt. He could not continue to insist that he was innocent so he admitted everything honestly.

Rin was trembling, probably because of his anger.

He peeked out from his pillow, and whispered.

Rin dropped herself onto the bed. He turned to face Shin, and closed his eyes. As he stated, apparently he wanted to show his sleeping face. He seriously closed both of his eyes. Ridiculous, but also responsible for a mistake.

"Can't."

Shin turned around and answered him briefly.

Since Rin was already unable to hold back her embarrassment any longer, she immediately opened her eyes. 

"Why are you turning away from me?!"

"There's no time for that. Don't we have to get out of here or. Do you want to stay here longer, Yuasa-san?"

"...Not you or Yuasa-san."

Rin said dissatisfied.

"Eh?" Shin was surprised, he turned to face Rin again.

"I feel slighted at being called 'you' and '-san'. Call my name right."

"Fasting?"

"Not my mama's name!"

Shin and Rin. They have been friends since they were children and the two are now husband and wife. However, because they wanted to hide both of these things, Shin and Rin almost never interacted with each other while at school. 

Except when they got the same assignment, Shin was forced to call his namamya '-san' which means mutual respect and with the surname. Meanwhile, Rin always called out to him with ridicule like the Idler.

So they got used to both of those things. As a result, Shin would sometimes always call Rin by his surname.

Shin took a soft breath. He found it difficult to breathe for a reason.

His voice was filled with some sweetness, half embarrassment.

Out of nervousness, Shin covered half his face with his finger. The atmosphere suddenly became quiet. Neither Shin nor Rin dared to look at each other.

However, the adult Philo appears suddenly among them.

His voice also changed. It was like hinting at a statement. Filo said it's like 'Papa Mama! Make fun!' He said it with passion.

His body looks big, not because of it, probably because of the fur that covers his entire body.
