Ayuzawa slowly walked around to keep her distance and looked for a gap to attack her.

Their distance was exactly the same as before. So why did Captain Karlstahl look so far away?

"Are you not attacking?" ask Karlstahl.

The question came out of Karlstahl's mouth. But he couldn't take that step. Every bone in his body screamed for him not to take a step to attack.

But he thought once, what if he met an enemy out there that even they could not predict was stronger than this person.

Ayuzawa tried to throw away all her strange thoughts and forced herself to come forward.

"Krrraaaahhhhhh!!"

He shouted, his two eyes looking ferocious to dispel his doubts.

Without blinking, Karlstahl's eyes were fixed on him. His gaze shifted as if implying something.

When that happens, Ayuzawa's instincts force her to stop. Doing so would make his body extremely tense and his knee joint let out an unpleasant sound.

Ayuzawa stopped even as soon as she fell to the ground.

He was very sure he had just seen Karlstahl's sword piercing through his chest. And can feel death in a moment. However, his chest was neither scratched nor injured.

There was no sign of Karlstahl's weapon moving in the slightest.

He was still standing there and did not even bother to make a defense.

"What's wrong?" ask Karlstahl.

He stared straight ahead, his sword tip twitching as if he was predicting the future.

As it happened, Ayuzawa imagined her hand would be cut off. Now he finally realized. Karlstahl just made a trick.

Although it was just a trick, Ayuzawa's body was completely limp and her face turned pale.

Staring at Ayuzawa who was drowning in silence, Karlstahl shrugged his shoulders.

"Actually I have no plans to lose to you."

"...Basically it's like that."

After finding himself nodding, Ayuzawa again clasped tightly onto her katana. He can't do anything to beat this guy.

He smiled and slowly pulled his long sword from his back with his right hand. He carelessly inserted his sword sheath on his belt with his left hand.

The great sword, which was slightly blackish had been carefully polished, but an infinite number of old stains vaguely remained on his entire blade that was twinkling in the shining light.

The hilt and hilt seemed to be made of the same quality metal, like his sword, but unlike the weaponry wielded by the Nycto Knights he encountered none of the embellishments embellished than that.

After turning one side of his mouth into a smile, the person raised up his long sword, swinging forward with his right hand, even higher.

Ayuzawa's breath was taken away once more with immediate effect. The old gray sword trembled.

"Did the sword flow with the Magical Essence? Or some sort of sword technique?" ask Ayuzawa.

"This sword is not watered by any magic."

"Aps...What exactly is.that ability."

Ayuzawa thought in confusion.

"I've said that I used my trump card. I didn't just slash the air with a practice slash, yeah? If it can be interpreted, I can slash the future a little forward."

It took a little while for him to realize the clear meaning of the words from Commander Nycto.

"Future... slashed?"

That's really a proper description of the phenomenon.
