The next day, one day after the hero's summoning. All the disciples gathered at the royal special Training Arena, directed by Leader Karlstahl. Early enough that the sun has not fully risen.

The morning weather in Axiys is quite cold and cool, as it is on Earth. The disciples were all filled with the same trepidation and curiosity. 

"Before we explore the dungeon labyrinth, there are some things you should pay attention to first. First, you have to have experience and also be mental. Second, in addition to mastering magic, you also have to master martial arts, such as using arrows, spears and swords. And lastly, for those who are afraid or doubtful, stay, I will not force you to come."

Besides Amanogawa and Rin. There are some students who have spirit. They are Shirasaki Nene, Kiriga Shin, Ryunosuke Chiba, Kirisaki Risya, Ayuzawa Makuto, Orihara Yamada, Hiromi Ichizaki, Onodera Miyabi, Nazuna Ashina, Sinuichi Satsuka.

That means there are 12 people who go on adventures exploring the labyrinth, while the others, 20 people do not participate including Haruka-sensei. There should be 40 students in one class, but because there is no attendance to school and there are some students who are outside the class are not included in the count.

Examples include Yorikita Takeko and Tanishiro Ryuji. They were very lucky not to be summoned to another world thanks to ditching. While the number summoned was only 32 people including Haruka-sensei himself. 

"Alright, I've given you enough time to think. I want you to raise your hands for those who want to explore the labyrinth, while those who will not be considered not to come." Leader Karlstahl.

The twelve people raised their hands, while the few who made complicated expressions were hesitant to raise their hands and in the end decided not to come along as it might be dangerous.

Seeing the many disciples who did not participate made Leader Karlstahl sigh and let out a very heavy breath.

"We're leaving during the day. For now, I want to train you guys in martial arts. Because close combat is needed there. Do you all understand?"

"Understand!"

Leader Karlstahl was surprised, then nodded with a smile.

"Your spirit is good. Then, you can choose your weapons at will."

He pointed towards the weapon equipment, there were many options there such as swords, spears, arrows, hammers and magic sticks. However, the weapons provided look blunt and are indeed available for security.

Amanogawa took the sword. Most of them followed the head of their class to pick up the sword. Meanwhile, Orihara and her group took the spear. Meanwhile, Nene approached Shin to ask him what weapon he wanted to choose. 

"Kiriga-kun, what do you want to use?"

"Ah, Shirasaki-san, right too. I used to practice the dojo with my late grandfather. So, maybe I'll use the sword."

"I see, maybe, I'm better suited using this stick. What do you think, Kiriga-kun?" 

Nene showed Shin the magic wand. The head of the magic wand had an intricate shape resembling the sun or some kind of face inside.

"I think it suits you, Shirasaki-san."

"Thank you!"

After that, Nene jumps for joy towards where Rin and Amanogawa are to join the practice there. 

Rin seems to be holding nothing. He did not have the courage to take up a sharp weapon or perhaps he never once saw or touched it. So it was only natural that Rin was confused by the weapon that suited her.

When Nene approached him, he immediately threw his cane somewhere and hugged Rin from behind.

"Rin!"

His heart felt like it was going to break. Makes her feel a little upset or something. However, it soon disappeared when it heard that voice was his best friend.

"Ah, it turns out Nens. I told you, don't surprise me like that again. Besides... You're okay, right?"

"You can see it clearly! Now I feel so excited!"

"Ah, yeah. I mean, you talk to him again. I thought you were being fucked up like that just like him. You know, he's weak. It's possible you'll be used as a shield."

"Kiriga-kun is not weak!" Shouted Nene. Without even caring about the surroundings in the slightest, he continued without hesitation.

Rin was made speechless again. As if to hear the babble from his mother, Rin was forced to apologize. He smiled wryly, and made an expression of regret.

However, his stubborn behavior makes Rin forget everything, even Amanogawa did not cross his mind at that time. 

Nene realizes from the beginning that Rin has not chosen her weapon, she decides to help her best friend.

"That's it. It's a pity. But don't worry! I will protect you too, Rin!"

Hope appeared on Rin's face, her eyes shining and moved with the words of her best friend. 

He was smiling too.

"That's enough! If you have chosen a suitable weapon, try to attack me with all your strength!"

The disciples again made complicated expressions on their faces. Some questions started popping up like 'is this guy sure?' and a little scared when they want to take up their weapons. Then, the question one popped up, 'what if one of them made a mistake and accidentally killed him' it seemed like the silly questions Orihara was thinking about.

Recalling that Leader Karlstahl was a leader of the Nycto Military Forces. That meant that he was not an indiscriminate person that anyone in the kingdom could underestimate. He's very strong. Even the people in the kingdom no one could touch him when dueling swords. Because he had a nickname in his youth as a 'Sky Knight'.

The sword he used was different from the others. That masculine face as well as his large, muscular body was probably enough to depict his sword, which was called the Time-Penetrating Sword.

The Time Penetrating Sword was a slightly blackened dark gray-colored greatsword that had been meticulously polished, although there were some boundless, faint scratch marks left throughout its length, glitters in the illumination. It showed that his sword was already experienced in battle.

Seeing that reaction, Leader Karlstahl made a provocation against the student to be provoked to attack him.

"What's wrong with you guys? Scared now? Where was your spirit before? Ah, I just realized that you guys are still naive boys and are always hiding because they think they will lose by taking a chance. In that case, none of you can come with us to explore the dungeon labyrinth! If you don't agree, pick up your weapons and attack me!"

It seems that the one who was provoked by anger first was Amanogawa Jun. It seemed, Leader Karlstahl's words had indirectly offended him all along.

He made a horrifying expression with his sharp eyes, raised his sword without hesitation, ran with a hoarse shout and immediately swung the sword towards Leader Karlstahl from behind.

"Graa!!"

It happened instantly. The clanking sound was loud, when Amanogawa swung his sword with all his might and was successfully held back by Leader Karlstahl so casually.

Amanogawa immediately took a few steps back, moving away to keep his distance from the enemy, perhaps.

"What's…" 

Amanogawa was surprised and thought for a moment. Without paying attention to his back, he could react so quickly while fending off his attacks that it might be able to kill anyone. Even he didn't care about it, and acted casually as if nothing had happened.

All students think the same. And the only thing they know is. That guy is strong!

Amanogawa thought of trying it once again. Leader Karlstahl's position was unchanged, he still turned his back on Amanogawa with a look ahead.

Amanogawa began to pick up the horses by positioning his sword straight forward which was grasped almost horizontally. While he sucked and let out a deep breath, before he ran and shouted. 

He heard that Leader Karlstahl said 'Majulah'. As after being given the cue, Amanogawa ran carrying his sword straight ahead.

"Yah!!"

With that scream. Seen his serious expression as well as the tip of the sword eye that was pointed forward.

"——!!"

Loud clangs accompanied by cracking sounds. 

At a glance it made his eyes widen, he parried it and his sword broke. Maybe it was because of the difference between metal and steel. 

Amanogawa was silent and petrified, all he had left was a sword stalk with no eyes. Apparently, Amanogawa was disappointed. Likewise, everyone witnessed it, including Shin.

"His sword. broke."

"Amanogawa-ka…"

However, in the midst of it, Leader Karlstahl burst into laughter. Maybe he didn't mean to underestimate, but instead.

His laughter was loud thus breaking the silence in the Training Arena. He turned around and faced Amanogawa.

"Well, that was very dangerous. The nickname {King Arthur} is indeed great! I didn't expect you to be able to swing a sword like that. I remember my younger days…!"

"Huh?"

All the students looked at him with ridiculous looks.

"I admit! Amanogawa, you're talented at this. If you practice constantly, maybe you can be my generation in the future."

"T-no…" 

Unfortunately it will not be a reality because Amanogawa also does not intend to linger in this world.

Later, Leader Karlstahl turned his gaze from Amanogawa to the other disciples holding weapons. He saw a less confident expression between them, and there was also doubt on his face.

That makes him resigned. 

"Hurt me. We will never go to the dungeon maze, and I will never allow you to adventure outside before you have any experience in fighting."
