It has entered the second arc. Let's go back a few weeks ago.

Ayuzawa Makuto stared sadly at his sleeping friend. They were summoned heroes given private rooms in the Nyctophiliac Palace, and it was Ayuzawa who was currently accompanying Nene in her room.

Ayuzawa has been a close friend of Nene's since they first met in first grade in their first year. 

Her tears were even endlessly flowing and kept calling out the names of Kiriga and Rin in her dreams.

From her grieving expression, Ayuzawa felt the same way how hurt she had lost both of her classmates. Moreover, the two of them were extremely valuable people to him.

As Ayuzawa recalls the events that have happened since Shin and Rin were killed, some of her hopes for Nene to wake up quickly.

Everyone who heard the reports of Shin and Rin's death was first shocked that a member of the hero group could be killed, and then partly relieved when they heard Shin was 'loser or worthless' now it's gone.

"Thank God it was the death of a worthless person who had been killed," and "I'm so glad an incompetent person was removed from the messenger of Lord Ishtar."

"What did you say about our friend?!" Ryunosuke growled, he stared intently at the noble.

"He was our precious classmate!" Nazuna continued in annoyance.

Ryunosuke and Nazuna trembled in anger upon hearing such a cynical comment, and almost time and time again wanted to quarrel with the noble. The nobles fell silent, because holding heroic status certainly made the nobles fear and avoid them.

Meanwhile, Amanogawa faces directly to the King. It seemed to decide that it would be dangerous to let negative opinions about Shin spread. 

"Your Majesty, I would like to say that it would be dangerous, if rumors of one of the heroes having been killed would spread throughout the kingdom. This will impact the palace and our friends as well."

"You're right. Don't worry, we've taken care of all those rumors so as not to spread throughout the kingdom."

"I'm sorry, then."

Amanogawa left the room, closed the door and smiled.

Despite the fact that the only reason left of those who were still alive was because Shin was holding back a monster that even Amanogawa's great hero could not defeat. Despite the fact that Shin and Rin have just been killed for being betrayed by having abandoned them.

However, as if by some lies and based on reality, the disciples believed that Shin and Rin had fallen into the abyss due to the attack of the upper level monsters. 

Everyone was sure they had managed to control their magic perfectly, but this was a real storm, he said, and no one wants to consider the possibility of a traitor among them causing Shin and Rin's death. Because if they did, they'd be killers.

As a result, they all did not know what had actually happened, choosing to pretend that it was a mistake on Shin's part that led to his death. And the worst thing, some say that Rin's death was caused by Shin for pulling him into the abyss.

After all, the dead don't tell tales. Instead of worrying about who killed Shin, it was much easier to pretend that he died because of his own mistakes. That way, there's nothing to worry about.
