The whole journey was filled with silence.
Tired of having nothing to do, Catalina looked at her phone and got into the chat of a group filming the series that was already half-worked.
Fred said filming would start the day after tomorrow, so everyone is expected to finish all business and come back tomorrow to shoot again tomorrow.
Catalina sees everyone replying to Fred's message and she doesn't want to come back. Fortunately there were no annoying people so the group chatted peacefully and peacefully.
When the chatter stopped, Catalina was bored again. And that boredom made his mind drift everywhere.
He had gathered his courage to go this far, but in the end, it was like punching cotton. He had done so much, he had put in so much effort, but in the end, everything was still gray.
Catalina really doesn't know how anymore. Sometimes, he has unrealistic fantasies. If only she was not Catalina, if only she had been born into a family that was truly like a family, if only she was the only child of a rich family, no, she did not need a rich life, he just wants a normal pair of parents and a happy and comfortable home.
But he knew that simple desire was too luxurious to be impossible to get.
Forty minutes later, the car stopped.
Catalina saved her phone and looked out the window. Rather than a mansion, this place was more like a villa.
He recalled, after his first meeting with Sehan, he had found out a lot about the Geffrey family. Where Sehan lives, where Lexus lives, even where Sehan's parents live, he finds out everything.
When it came to Sehan's parents, he read an article that while the Geffrey family-affiliated real estate company was building accommodations earlier, they set aside one plot of land and built a row of villas.
Maybe this place is what is meant in the article.
"Miss, we're here."
The driver's voice jolts Catalina's daydream. He nodded. "M." He knew they had arrived. The problem is, he is a little nervous. Although he said that coming here was his wish for a long time, but when he actually reached this place, he felt his heart churn. Curious and scared.
The driver got out of the car and opened the door for Catalina. "Please, Miss."
Catalina tried to catch her breath before getting out of the car. "Thank you" he said. A small smile fell on his lips but really for whatever sake, he could not stop his nervousness. He did not know what he would find there. And a rich family drama that likes to insult an unequal daughter-in-law suddenly pops into his mind.
Maybe the Geffreys are like that too?
Throw money and say 'leave my son!'.
Haish. If that was the case, it would be impossible for Raphael to allow Tatiana to become Sehan's fiancee. Before Tatiana even got close, they might have already thrown her a point two million kilometers away.
Welcoming not far from him was a butler in his trademark uniform. As soon as Catalina got out of the car, she bowed. "Welcome, Miss. Long time no see."
Catalina smiles. From what the butler said, Tatiana had clearly come to this place before. Whether it's 'ever' or 'often', the point is he comes and is greeted like this by the butler.
"Yes, thank you. How are you?" Not knowing what her name was, this was all Catalina could say as a pleasantries. But there was one thing that was troubling in his mind. This guy's face looks pretty familiar. Where'd he ever see her?
He watched the figure closely and something suddenly flashed through his mind.
This guy, maybe he's Harrison's brother?
"I'm doing fine. What about you?" Harrington asked the same question.
"As you can see, I'm fine too."
"Thank God" replied Harrington. "Then may I ask you something?"
"Sure," Catalina answered quickly.
"What do you think of me?" Supervised by Catalina, people like Harrington couldn't possibly not have noticed it. That's why he asked.
Catalina was silent for a while before opening her voice, "Actually I feel like you are very similar to someone. I mean, I thought you might be Harrison's brother." Catalina said what she had in mind without hesitation.
Hearing this, Harrington smiled slightly. "If that's what you think of me, then you're right. I am indeed brother Harrison. My name is Harrington." And once again his doubts about this girl were confirmed. Catalina was brought home by Sehan. Because if she doesn't, Catalina won't recognize Harrison.
"I guessed it" said Catalina. There was not the slightest trace of shock on his face, which meant that he had already claimed in his mind that they were brothers.
"Then let's follow me" Harrington said, pointing the way, directing Catalina to go.
Catalina went towards Harrington showing the way and they walked in silence.
This villa has a very large interior. The interior has a modern design in a natural style with a natural feel. Many green plants are decorations and all of them are placed in the right place until the room becomes very pleasant to see. In addition to the large windows, the light from outside entered perfectly into the room.
After climbing the stairs and arriving at the second floor, moments later they arrived in front of a door. Harrington knocked on the door. "Sir, Miss is here."
"Lake in!"
After receiving instructions from Raphael, Harrington opened the door and invited Catalina to enter.
Catalina let out a long sigh then tidied up a bit of her clothes before stepping foot into the room. A leisurely room with wide windows, made a figure of a man who might be around sixty years old who was sitting leisurely in his chair caught sight.
Catalina bows. "Good day, Mr. Geffrey. I came," he said. Unknowingly, his hands became cold and sweat drenched him. The real definition of a nervousness, it seems like this is what it feels like.
When you want to run away but can not, when you want to disappear but can not, when you want to behave normally but still can not. Feelings of being wrong and afraid to make mistakes even if you do nothing. A gripping feeling as if in front was an endless passageway, also a feeling of being intimidated.
Damn, Catalina is like a little cat stepping on hot sand.
He was anxious and helpless.
"Can you make tea for me?" ask Raphael.
Catalina jerks. Brewing tea? Did he hear wrong?
"Can you do it?" Raphael repeated his question.
"certain. I can do it." This time Catalina nodded without hesitation. He did not expect the anxiety, fear and nervousness that he had previously felt to be in vain.
Because it seems like Father Sehan isn't that scary.
