The Destiny of a Substitute Mother

The Destiny of a Substitute Mother
Chapters. 2 Self-Esteem is Much More Valuable Than Money

"Excuse me I have to take this call" Dee said with a deathly pale face.

Mr. Jhon seemed suspicious of the caller when he saw Dee's body gesture.

"Please, but if there is a Master, turn off your phone and as much as possible do not contact outsiders if it is not important. One more thing, cut off your relationship with any man as long as this contract is still running," Mr. Jhon's hard words made Dee tremble.

"Yes, I understand," she replied in a choked voice due to her fear.

The man left Dee, who was still dumbstruck. If his men are all that, what about his master?

The sound of the phone still ringing made Dee jerk. He immediately received the call.

"Hallo, brother," said Dee.

"Dee, did I hear that our orphanage is on fire? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't want to make you anxious." Dee said limply.

"Then what about everything? Is anyone a victim?"

"Everything was only lightly burned, only the mother of the parlour was a little severe." Dee doesn't want to make Rizki worry because she works in a distant place that needs quiet.

I heard heavy breathing. "What about the hospital fees?"

"There are donors who cover all the hospital costs and the lives of the children of the orphanage in the future."

"Thank God. Later I will also send money to help with your expenses."

"No need, brother. Brother's money save first. Brother just worked this month, tube for brother's future," Dee said.

"Dee, you can't calm down wanting to know what's really going on."

"Everything's resolved so Brother don't worry too much. Oh yes Brother, I will be going overseas so this number will not be active until I return. The plane will take off, call me turn it off first. Sorry." For the first time, Dee lied.

"Dee wait, you haven't explained… ." Dee turned off the call and the phone. His legs became limp as if boneless. His tears kept flowing.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry… ."

Two hours later Dee stared at the reflection of his face in the mirror. She was wearing a beautiful simple white kebaya dress. However, there was no makeup on her face. Her eyes were still slightly swollen from crying for a long time in the bathroom.

Someone started knocking on the door.

"Miss if you are ready, Sir is waiting for you below" cried Mr. Jhon.

Dee started walking out opening the door. He smiled stiffly. "Come, sir."

With his back straight he stepped first, walking down the stairs. There were several people sitting down below around the table. They looked towards the bride-to-be who appeared very simple.

His long hair was neatly on his back. His face was as smooth and porcelain-white with large eyes adorned by dense lashes. There is no need for cosmetics to make it beautiful, everything looks natural.

"Miss, sit down first, sir is calling in front," said Mr. Jhon. Dee according. He sat restlessly in front of the hanger. Downwardly.

"How are you ready?" The voice of a man who was pleasant to hear, low and magnetic, the voice that was hoarse and masculine seemed to be young. Dee's heart immediately beat hard. His hands suddenly broke out in sweat and felt cold.

The man sat down next to Dee. He looked at Dee and took a deep breath.

Dee did not dare to look to the side but she could see that the body of the man beside her was atlentis. Not like his shadow.

Ijab conducted. Dee's mind was lost for a moment to think of Rizki. That man who should have been sitting next to her was no other man. However, fate can not we determine all already God's line.

Dee gasped when someone called out to her. The man extended a hand. With a trembling Dee grabbed that hand and kissed the back of his hand. The aroma of cinnamon combined with the fragrance of pine forest is felt in his sense of smell. Dee was still lowered as the man gulped his forehead gently, barely touched.

Holding back the cry that wanted to explode earlier. She could not even look at the face of the man who was now her temporary husband.

Half an hour later, everyone had already left the house. Dee's heartbeat started to sound hard, she suddenly felt dizzy and almost fell down.

The man's eagle eyes stared intently at the panicked girl. Then open your mouth. "Your name is HoneyDee, what should I call you? Honey or Dee?"

The man stepped forward. In a panic Dee took a step back.

"Whatever you like" said Dee still with a bowed face.

"Then I just call Honey sounds sweet. You can call me Kane," said the man staring intently at Dee. He found an interesting new toy.

"Mr Kane," Dee repeated. Still back to the side of the bed.

"Kane only (Ken)."

"Kane." Dee finally fell down, sitting on the lip of the sofa. In front of him appears towering body of the man who is now watching him. Dee swallowed the salivary with difficulty.

"Do you know what to do?"

Dee was surprised by the immediate question, not knowing what to answer. He thought the man must be a very serious man.

"Lift your face!" With one finger he lifted Dee's chin. " why?  Embarrassed?" his voice seemed to be insinuating Dee.

Dee gulped his saliva hard and nervously. Had to come face to face with him. The man's face was handsome only to appear cynical and cold.

"Have you taken a clean shower, put on sampho?"

"Already," great-grandson.

"Not bad, better than I've ever seen." Dee was surprised by the man's words, where had they met? But I dare not ask further.

"Let's go to the room" the man ordered.

"Well," Dee replied according to.

"Fear?" ask the man.

"..... " De was silent not knowing what to answer.

A second later the man lowered his head and immediately raised Dee's body. Both of his feet were off the floor.

Dee felt that darkness would envelop her life from now on. His face began to blush.

"Mr Kane, I can walk on my own."

The man not speaking just stared ahead bringing him to the second floor. Makes Dee more frightened.

The door to the room opened. "Honey, the contract has begun, if you mind the door is still wide open. Can you leave now?" ask the man again.

"I'll give you a few minutes ahead" he continued, staring intensely at Dee.

"I have no regrets" Dee replied hesitantly but in a firm voice. He did not want to retreat for the sake of healing the Mother of the parlour who had raised him all this time. He is willing to sacrifice. She would only sacrifice for nine months whereas Mother Home had sacrificed a lot for her during these eighteen years, without complaining in the slightest.

"Are you sure what you're going to do?" the man's voice sounded soft. His gaze felt cold. Dee nodded steadily.

The man then put Dee on the bed and began to take off his white coat and put it on the sofa.

Suddenly his body was held by two big hands violently. Feels sick. His eyes became blurry, wanting to cry.

He saw the man's face smudge. "You're shameless, sell yourself. Don't you have any self-respect? Or think if you do this your life will feel easy and in luxury?"

Dee's eyes widened greatly hearing the insults of the man in front of her. The man's emotions changed suddenly, making him even more horrified and fearful.
