The Destiny of a Substitute Mother

The Destiny of a Substitute Mother
Chapters. 44 Not forgiving

Dee was brought in by Emilio. In front of them already stood the tall body of Pak Jhon with his haunted face. He stared intently at Emilio.

"What do you mean by bringing him back in here!" snapped Pak Jhon made the feathers of Dee's neck stand up all over and his body goosebumps. He inched to the back of Emilio and held onto his sleeves slightly. Like a child seeking refuge in a brother.

"I told you to drive him out, not bring him back in."

"Miss Dee came back here with good intentions."

"Well, he's with another man. That's a huge betrayal for Kane!"

"Will Dee come here alone while he is left on Thousand Islands by the Master without a penny living."

"Isn't there a man to help her why should she come back here? Is it because you love losing Kane's treasure?" hina Pak Jhon's.

"You're right I'm here for fear of losing something precious that I haven't had."

"You heard that, didn't you, Emilio. Do you want money, tell me what you want to leave Kane. Five billion, six, seven, or eight? I'll give it to him right now, then leave him!"

Dee smiled cynically. "Is the family price so cheap for you? Unfortunately for me it's priceless."

Mr. Jhon was stunned by Dee's reply.

"From the beginning I hoped to have a whole family and that was a dream that I wanted to achieve so far. I've got it here in this house, a sister who loves me." Dee looked towards Emilio.

Emilio was stunned, his chest rumbling violently when Dee said she thought of him as an older brother.

"The old man I should respect." Dee's view turned to Mr. Jhon.

"The husband who loves me" she said claustrophobicly with heated eyes. "With our son to be born. Would I get that kind of kindness outside of here? I'm not that stupid to let go of my dreams."

"Because of that, give me one more chance to improve. If I had insisted that I did not want to stay here, I now realize that it would be like killing myself because my heart is here. Not anywhere else" he continued wholeheartedly.

Mr. Jhon was silent. "Thank God if you know your mistake. I'll give you one more chance. However, if Kane refuses you then leave. Don't hurt his heart anymore. He's been suffering for too long so don't make yourself one of his sufferings again."

"If you make the same mistake again, I will not only drive you out of here again but out of this world. I will protect Kane until I die even if I have to sacrifice my own life."

"I promise to be a dutiful wife to her and not to betray her" Dee promised faithfully.

Mr. Jhon breathed a sigh of relief. He passed away. Dee turned to look at Emilio.

"Sir is upstairs, in his room."

Dee walked up with half a run.

"Be careful you're pregnant" exclaimed Emilio anxiously watching Dee climb the stairs in haste.

Dee nodded. "My son misses his father."

Emilio smiled relievedly looking at him. She was happy to see Dee could be like that again and considered him an older brother.

Dee stopped in front of the room door hesitantly.

"Master is resting, he is sick," said Emilio putting Dee's suitcase next to the door.

"illness?" repeat Dee's worried. The man could be sick too. Dee's thinking is not good.

Dee opened the bedroom door and saw Kane lying on the bed. Hold your breath and walk closer.

He sat on Kane's side and checked. "Kane," call Dee slowly. Kane's body isn't hot.

"Strimming pills?" Dee remembered Kane's story about his past.

"Master although looks healthy but the inside is not. She's sick and suffering from past trauma exactly what I don't know and that trauma comes back because of what you did."

Dee's eyes were wide. So great was the effect he had on Kane making the man lie weak like this. Maybe because of that, Kane immediately left him. Kane stayed away from him because he didn't want to get hurt again.

He was afraid of being ignored and betrayed, that's what Kane said. Kane thought Dee had betrayed him and wanted to leave him, Dee thought.

"Then I'd better get out, miss," said Emilio.

"Don't call me Miss again, just call Dee" Dee said.

"It can't be like that. You are the wife of my employer. I have to respect. I hope that tomorrow Master will allow us to call you Madam" Emilio said.

Dee nodded bitterly. "Hopefully."

Maybe because Kane doesn't trust him one hundred percent yet so he hasn't considered Dee a wife entirely.

Dee took off her shoes and lay down on Kane's side. Touching his face softly.

Asking himself, does he really love Kane? Or does he love the life Kane gave him? However, from today on he will love Kane with all his heart.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for hurting you" Dee whispered in Kane's ear. His body was also too tired after a day through this heavy day.

Kane himself heard Dee's voice in his dream. A smile rose on his lips.

In the middle of the night, Kane awoke to the movement of the people beside him. Dee's one leg twists both feet. His hands hugged Kane. His face was hiding in his arms.

He opened his eyes and saw Dee was right next to him. Both of Dee's eyebrows furrowed, while one other hand held her tummy that rang. Both of his eyes were still closed.

"Hungry," he murmured.

Kane smiled amusedly at Dee's starving expression in her sleep. For a moment he remembered what had happened. He took a long breath.

Kane has left Dee, why did the woman choose to return? Didn't he really want to get away from her and be able to live with that man?

Kane's anger is back. He pulled his arm roughly off Dee's head.

"Aww," muttered Dee.

Dee woke up opening her eyes and saw Kane was getting up and sitting on his back.

"You awake?" ask Dee.

Kane did not answer, stood up leaving him. Dee got out of bed, followed Kane.

"Kane, I'm sorry" said Dee, grabbing Kane's hand as the man opened the door.

Kane brushed it off. Dee bit her lower lip. The atmosphere in the house was quiet because it was midnight when people slept.

"You can be mad at me, yell at me but don't let me go like this" Dee said.

Kane looked the other way. "Emilio... Emilio. "call Kane hard. Soon Emilio was in front of them.

"Yes, sir," said Emilio with a sprightly body. He asked Dee what had happened.
