Chapter 31 is only about inheritance

"Oh, sorry. Introduce my name David Yang, the second son of the Yang family," said David bowing in front of Dee. Then smiled kindly at Dee. A smile that could captivate all the women who saw it.

"My name is Honey Dee" Dee replied, but the hand was pulled by Kane. The man's face seemed unhappy that Dee was close to David.

David did not chim in on Kane's cold nature and kept his distance.

"Honey? Honey, sweet and many properties. Maybe you're like that too, sweet, gentle and ...."

David's words were cut off when Dee's hand pulled Kane away from in front of David.

"We're getting out of here" Kane asked.

"David, sorry," Dee said as he passed David. The man nodded his head.

"No need to apologize to people like him" Kane murmured.

David who saw and heard just smiled. "So you never change always like that. Dee I hope you can change my brother's behavior to look sweeter like you."

Dee nodded and returned David's smile. Aunt Cindy approached David and whispered something. David nodded his head.

Dee sighed at Kane's cold behavior with his family. They then went to the group of old beaked men. The men welcomed Kane's arrival.

"Kane, you finally showed up, too" said Uncle Ling, Kane's father's younger brother.

"I was so lazy to come here that the old man forced me to come."

"Ha. ha. ha.. ha. .., the old man actually needs you to lead his shaky company."

"I don't care about the Diamond company. Don't have time to interfere with Dad's company's internal problems."

Everyone in this room knows that Kane and his father never got along. They often disagree. It was triggered by Kane's dark past.

"Who is this beautiful woman, Kane," asked Uncle Steven to see Dee standing behind Kane.

"Oh, is the rumor that says you have a wife true?" knock that other guy.

Kane nodded. "It's Dee, my wife," Kane said, introducing her ungainly.

It makes Dee feel appreciated by Kane because his status in front of people as Kane's wife is not a mistress.

"My name is Evander Ling, the younger brother of Kane's father."

"Uncle Ling is actually a cousin of the father just lifted a child by Grandpa" explained Kane. Dee nodded in greeting the man's hand.

Then alternate with the others. They seemed to be polite despite the contemptuous look implied in their eyes. Dee felt it might be because of her background being from the orphanage so looked down upon by everyone who was here.

"You're good at picking women, beautiful and seemingly young" praised Uncle Ling. He looked at Dee with a disgusting look.

"The young ones haven't been contaminated yet" Kane chirped as he made everyone laugh. Kane tightened his arms around Dee's waist as if he wanted to reveal if he was unhappy and comfortable with this stale base.

"You're right if that young one is still genuine and innocent." Uncle Ling patted Kane on the back.

All gazed towards the source of the sound without exception. Dee followed their point of view.

A man who looked like Kane was just an aged face walking over. He is a portrait of Kane's future.

Everyone looked down when the man arrived, showing him respect. Except Kane.

Aunt Cindy came over and embraced the man's arm affectionately. Kane threw his face to the side unhappily.

David clapped loudly followed by the others. All of them bowed in greeting and prayed for the man in Chinese which Dee did not understand, except for Kane who remained standing upright.

"Bastard son, you've finally come here. I thought you forgot my invitation" Park Yang said.

"I told you that I came because I was afraid that this would be your last wedding anniversary.

"Based on unfilial child!'' said the man with emotion. The man coughed.

"Here Dad, don't take heart Kane said. We're grateful Kane came here. Your two sons are here to celebrate our wedding anniversary."

Mr. Park Yang glanced sharply at Kane. "You see your mother is very patient, she told me to invite you here, even though I was reluctant to see your arrogant face!"

Kane took a long breath. "My mom is not him. But the other woman while I will also not come if not invited by you. As usual, you invited me just to humiliate me, so I was reluctant to attend. But don't worry, I'm already immune to the poison you spit out of my mouth to insult me. In fact, the kid you despised and threw away was more successful than the kid you hugged and loved."

Kane clapped his hand. Mr. Jhon then went in with a black box.

I want you to see David's cries when your company breaks into his hands."

Park Yang wanted to spit out his words but was interrupted by Kane again. "I'm here to introduce Dee, she's pregnant with my son. Things that would calm me down for having an heir. I'm just afraid that everything I've earned will be taken away because you're my family."

"Based on a brash kid, do you think I'd like to accept your fortune?"

"Of course you'll be happy because my company's current value almost matches the value of your company. However, I decided on your pleasure with my wife's pregnancy."

Dee was glued to see the father and son quarrel.

Kane then took Dee out of the house after putting his gift on the table.

Dee still hears the mockery of Kane's father. He stared at Kane's cold face.

This is what Mr. Jhon meant if Kane had a family only he lived alone.

However, it seemed that the matter was bigger than the conflict that had just occurred. In the car Dee's hand clasped Kane tightly.

"All will be well" Dee said calmly.

Kane smiled, nodding. "You know why I want to have children soon."

Dee squeezed his hand at Kane gently.

"But you should have a reason to love your son later. He was not born to inherit your property but he was born to want to feel the affection of everyone. So love them with all your heart."
