CH. 26 – Suspicion Zhou Fu

Shen Shen blinked his eyes at Zhou Fu repeatedly. He wanted to signal to Zhou Fu if Zhou Fu's suspicions were too excessive. Shen Shen himself had full confidence in Feng Yaoshan if the man was on his side. The belief concerned the fact that Feng Yaoshan was one of the men who desperately wanted to marry Shen Shen. That was why Shen Shen was willing to board Feng Yaoshan's ship without putting the slightest suspicion.

Unlike Shen Shen, Zhou Fu felt himself obliged to suspect everyone. He had a promise to himself to drive Shen Shen to Caihong safely. That way, he could convince Li Xian's grandfather if he was really ready to face the vast and cruel world.

“Brother Zhou, miss Shen is a good friend of mine. The main reason I helped him, of course, was because he was my friend, and if I could be honest, of course, because I loved him. I think that's the most logical reason I can give, regarding Caihong and Shamo's relationship, I don't think I understand much,” though a little surprised by Zhou Fu's question, I guess, Feng Yaoshan gave an answer with a fairly calm expression. Sometimes he sipped a drink in his hand.

Shen Shen blushed in embarrassment at the honest reply from his senior. Occasionally, Feng Yaoshan glanced at Shen Shen who was smiling blushing in embarrassment, the sight making Feng Yaoshan happy and feeling relieved. He did so because he began to feel the vibrations of the learned warrior as if he were in the banquet hall. The aura that was some time before was completely non-existent.

Feng Yaoshan stood up from his seat and immediately pulled Shen Shen over for him to approach, Feng Yaoshan felt the need to do so as to see Shen Shen begin to be disturbed at the concentrated aura Zhou Fu released. Despite being uncomfortable with Zhou Fu's actions, Shen Shen actually let go of Feng Yaoshan's embrace. Shen Shen pulled Zhou Fu's arm and pleaded with him,

“Fu’er, well I believe in your instincts. Stop making us uncomfortable, I choose to be on your side,” Shen Shen immediately realized that Zhou Fu was the one who always sided with his safety.

Zhou Fu smiled faintly, he stopped his aura intimidation then approached Feng Yaoshan slowly. Feng Yaoshan walked back slowly until his back hit a pole. Feng Yaoshan's originally calm expression, now looked a little nervous and worried.

“True to my guess, this vibration comes from the power you're hiding! You have to explain your reason for hiding your martial arts, pour the nobles!” Zhou Fu smirked towards Feng Yaoshan.

Feng Yaoshan had only managed to hide his martial arts for about half an hour, while Zhou Fu had once managed to do so for an entire day while still training on Youhi island.

“Brother Zhou may have misunderstood a bit, I did everything so that brother Zhou would not be suspicious and willing to board this ship. Believe me, our goals are the same. On the other hand, Shen Shen still hoped that Zhou Fu's suspicions were wrong. After all he had known Feng Yaoshan for quite a long time, and the man had indeed truly placed his heart on him. But, Shen Shen had no reason not to trust Zhou Fu, if Zhou Fu asked him to get off the ship, Shen Shen was sure he would follow Zhou Fu's words.

“Is your ship currently being escorted?” Zhou Fu asked probing as soon as another tremor started to flare. If it is not miscalculated, there are at least ten warriors who are close enough to the ship owned by Feng Yaoshan.

Hearing Zhou Fu's question, Feng Yaoshan was increasingly worried because the teenager in front of him was in fact able to know the existence of the opponent without seeing directly. He tried to take a glance at Shen Shen and tried to get support from the woman.

“How, does this noble master's concern indicate if my suspicions are correct?” Zhou Fu started to clutch at Feng Yaoshan's clothes as he felt confident that the man had a bad intent.
