The Eastern Continent Swordsman

The Eastern Continent Swordsman
CH. 49 – Team Five

The atmosphere on the deck of the Blue Peacock ship felt a little gripping after Zhou Fu and Zhao Yunlei were on standby with each other. The thing that confused Zhou Fu was, there was no aura vibration coming out of Zhao Yunlei's body even though the girl was emitting a huge destructive power. In short, the girl's strength was undetectable even when she was launching an attack. This phenomenon should not happen.

“Nona Zhao, how can miss have power without mastering the inner power science?” Zhou Fu shook his head in confusion after being convinced that Zhao Yunlei did not even have the slightest mastery of power. As soon as one could hide their strength, an aura vibration would still leak out while the user was launching an attack.

Zhao Yunlei seemed to frown in astonishment, nor did he expect that Zhou Fu would know the fact that he did not have the mastery of inner strength. Not many people know that his body cannot activate the power within. The woman finally neutralized her powers and returned to the point of becoming an ordinary human, which she did in order to avoid fighting with Zhou Fu.

“Brother Zhou, please don't rush into bad thinking. After all, given the brother's efforts in fighting Shamo's forces, it means we are on the same side!” Zhao Yunlei spoke with a formal choice of words and a slight smile, hoping that the young man she had just met would soften a little after he stopped the shockwave from his body.

“So you know, I'm not fighting Shamo's forces. I'm just punishing the wrong side, and it just so happens to be Shamo's army. You're mistaken to say I fought them!” said Zhou Fu who was now quite close to Zhao Yunlei. His hand pulled Luzon's sword from his waist, then pointed it right at Zhao Yunlei's neck.

“Alright... Well, still our position is the same. Brother Zhou says you're fighting the wrong side. Again, we are the same. For a long time I had never even fought the right side. I hope, our departure to Caihong also has the same mission,” Zhao Yunlei replied without reacting to Zhou Fu's sword threat that was already stuck under his chin.

After a while Zhou Fu was just watching Zhao Yunlei's body from top to bottom, Zhou Fu saw Zhao Yunlei groaning a little while fresh blood flowed quite profusely from under his chin. Zhou Fu glared in shock and reflexively pulled his sword back. He did not even put pressure on Miss Zhao's chin but the girl's skin seemed to be extremely sensitive and fragile.

Zhao Yunlei grimaced in pain after Zhou Fu kept the sword away from his chin. He immediately covered his bleeding skin using the right palm while pressing the part to seal the bleeding on the wound.

“Brother Zhou just asked me why I pretended to be a fragile girl? Aih, look at my wound! I'm not pretending. I just, did not show my other self to Uncle Wang and the citizens of Yimin.”

“Alright, clear your wound, Miss Zhou. After that, we still have to talk!” zhou Fu said without having the initiative to help the injured Zhao Yunlei. He simply asked the girl to treat his own injuries while Zhou Fu chose to clear the deck of the ship of the corpses of the pirates.

About ten minutes later, Zhou Fu had cleared the bodies from the deck of the ship and found Miss Zhao watching him with a friendly look. The girl then approached Zhou Fu with a bandage that did not seem to be for her.

“It's to wrap the wound in your hand that's. Looks like there's poison in the wound, did you clear the poison?” Zhao Yunlei held out a cloth bandage and also a medicinal foliage collision, it seemed like he was pounding medicine as Zhou Fu was clearing the corpse of the pirates, “ I think we will become friends, I think, so I thought that I no longer needed to speak formally with you,” Zhao Yunlei continued as she took Zhou Fu's hand that never received a bandage from her.

“Ah, yes... I forgot if my hand was hurt. I thought it was just a little blistering, I never thought it would spread like this,” Zhou Fu finally observed the back of his blistered hand and some of his outer skin peeled off. He finally anointed his wound with a mash of leaves that Zhao Yunlei gave and wrapped his hand with a cloth bandage. From the smell of the plant collision, Zhou Fu felt that Zhao Yunlei was quite experienced at concocting medicine.

The two of them went hand in hand towards the end of the head of the ship, trying to enjoy the remains of the night that would soon turn into morning. Although still holding doubts, Zhou Fu still tried to give Zhao Yunlei a chance to tell him about himself, about the secret he had hidden from elder Wang.

There are seven types of elite troops formed by the state of Bingdao, all of which have different tasks. Zhou Fu had heard of one of the tasks of the elite troops, the Seven Forces, who had the task of guarding the book under the Luzon sea. If the Seven Forces were that great, Zhou Fu could not have guessed how great the fragile girl he was with was.

“Ah, yes... Did you say about Squad Seven? They are the strongest team of all. Of course I might just be a fingernail tip compared to them. And I heard, Squad Seven is filled with senior warriors who are quite old,” replied Zhao Yunlei explained at length about Squad Seven. But then his eyes bulged as he only realized one thing.

“Wait! What did you say??! You received a message from a representative of the Seven Forces from under the sea of Luzon? Don't-don't?” Zhao Yunlei retreated a few steps in shock. His two hands covered his mouth together, a sign that his astonishment was indeed completely far-fetched.

“Is it something bad? Or?!” Zhou Fu asked in astonishment.

“Can you also read the message at the foot of that sea monster?” Zhao Yunlei asked silently, only whispering but being heard enough by Zhou Fu even though the girl's voice collided with the wind rustle on the high seas.

Zhou Fu was slightly startled, he recalled something that was at Haku's feet. Reading messages? Inner Zhou Fu wondered. Is the one doing the other day a reading activity? He asked himself again because from childhood he did not even know how to read. All he knew was, he saw something at Haku's feet and did something that seemed to be delivered at the sea monster's feet.

“Haku? Is something at Haku's feet a message? Does that mean I read a message? Oh, I've been illiterate since I was a kid. How can I read?” Zhou Fu scratched his head. For the business of reading and writing, he did feel a little inferior because he always failed to learn it.

Hearing Zhou Fu's reply, Zhao Yunlei was once again flabbergasted in shock. It was like finding a needle in a haystack.

“Team Six! Ah, I've even managed to find someone that Squad Six is looking for!” Zhao Yunlei clenched her two hands tightly, her legs prancing around like a child getting a new toy.

“Zhou Fu, you must come with me to go to the Sixth Army headquarters! That's more important than anything in Caihong. Ah, I will also delay my departure to Cai…

“NO!” Zhou Fu replied firmly as well as cutting off Zhao Yunlei's conversation.

“Why??! You are needed by many sides! Trust me!” Zhao Yunlei pleaded.

“Shen Yang is also waiting for me right now! The most important thing for me now is, bringing Shen Shen to Caihong in a safe state!” jo Fu said with confidence.
