Not knowing how many attacks were given, Xie Ruo did not know anymore. He repelled each attack and held it off without being able to counterattack. Too many clones overwhelmed him!

The four souls far away from him started to feel weak. One by one the soul returned to Xie Ruo's body, giving him a wound that made Xie Ruo have to retreat from the battle.

His soul only had a little bit of his strength, they could not handle more than one clone alone. At least it's stalling until the original soul is gone, but the clones are far more sensitive than he thought.

Their movements slowed down, giving Xie Ruo some time to recuperate and prepare the surrounding protectors before finally leaving. He removed the phoenix feathers, pierced through some clones and created a burst of cold flames that disguised his vision.

Xie Ruo darted faster without giving a trace. But the magic field could only last for a few seconds until the clones finally broke free and continued the chase. Although there were already a few clones that died, plus the effects of the magic field causing their energy to be drained a lot, the rest of the clones could still survive to the end after successfully dodging the attacks of the dragon and phoenix feathers.

They instantly launched an attack towards Xie Ruo who was trying to dodge. Xie Ruo's strength had already diminished too much due to the consecutive battles. His perception rate shrank so unwittingly, dark energy hurtled very quickly from both directions.

Xie Ruo only realized that there was dark energy approaching from the side. He quickly dodged right when the dark energy would slash his face. But, he dodged too late when dark energy from the opposite direction slid and pierced through his body.

Xie Ruo crashed down, but was still able to maintain the condition of the body. It hung on a tree branch, then jumped and stomped its feet into the branch, hurtling far ahead with several missed attacks around it.

The pain continued to whack, Xie Ruo persisted for as long as he could, even though his gaze was starting to dim. If he wanted to immediately return to his physical body, he would have to at least spare a bit of energy.

Pure energy continued to work, repairing the wounds on the soul until the pain that was so felt when in the healing process made Xie Ruo's speed decrease. In a moment, he would return to his physical body and continue what he had planned in a short time.

The clones are getting closer. They scattered in various directions, seeming to have planned a siege. Xie Ruo was aware of that, and could only continue to recover his state to its fullest as long as the clones were up to something.

Behind him, there were two clones chasing. Xie Ruo was just about to speed up, yet suddenly three clones appeared several meters in front of him. Not only that, on the top and both sides there are also several clones that began to launch action.

The attacks of the clones clashed against each other, causing high energy fluctuations accompanied by great pressure that made the clones retreat.

They looked towards the direction Xie Ruo was supposed to be in when it disappeared from their attack area, Xie Ruo's translucent body disappeared, replaced by a gray beam that flashed like a dazzling bright light to the eyes.

Xie Ruo's body slowly dissipated and, along with the air, was very visible in the eyes of the clones making them shocked. They hurriedly stopped Xie Ruo from disappearing at that very instant.

The weapon was raised high, darting fast and would grab Xie Ruo simultaneously to incapacitate him.

Yet their attack again pierced through the air, right after the gray rays disappeared from sight. The phenomenon happened so fast, Xie Ruo suddenly disappeared, making their faces blackened because they had to lose the target that should be easy to obtain.

Xie Ruo was nowhere, he returned to his physical body after recovering less than a third of the strength that was indeed devoted to teleporting to the physical body directly.

Xie Ruo opened his eyes, looking at the orange sky which had shown that dusk had arrived. So fast time passed ....

"Thank you." He was grateful that his physical body was still fine, despite having to receive quite a severe wound because of his soul that had undergone a great battle just now. He drank the water that Long Long brought, then tried to recover a little to continue the delayed escape.

"Mrs, soon they'll find us." Long Long Long was agitated. If it was only against one clone, perhaps he could resist. But if it was that much, he would also die and not be able to protect his mistress to the fullest! What's he supposed to do?

Looking back where the clones were still chasing, Xie Ruo threw a time bomb near the portal. He stomped his feet, letting his dragon body break through the huge portal in front.

His huge body entered the portal, flying at high speed as the time bomb went by. As soon as his figure disappeared, the clones rushed over and were about to enter the portal. However ....

A time bomb exploded accompanied by magic that shot out to damage the portal core. The fog appeared so thick, it contained a deadly poison that caused the clones to have to retreat. Although they were anti-poison, the magic that shot uncontrollably could hurt them.

They lost their target.
