"Xie Ran, you're not going anywhere, no one can save you. The Demon Emperor will be pleased and give me a gift." At Yushi speak with emphasis and happiness. His eyes went crazy thinking the Demon Emperor would give him a gift after handing Xie Ran over and being perfect after making use of it.

But instead of being afraid, Xie Ran smiled condescendingly. "You sure you're gonna get a reward?"

Di Yushi snorted at Xie Ran's disparaging remark. The Demon Emperor had already promised to give a huge reward after capturing pure energy. It was certainly very excited and sneered at the ignorant Xie Ran.

"You'll see it when you get to the Underworld." Di Yushi immediately advanced whereas Xie Ran had been cornered. The girl immediately thought of some things that might save her.

"You can't hurt me," exclaimed Xie Ran making Di Yushi stop.

"You think I don't dare kill you now?" Di Yushi is upset about Xie Ran trying to make him stop.

"I'm not afraid to die, but .. I'm not sure you'll live after I die. I don't care, I can even jump right now." Xie Ran stood at the wide window behind him that was without any restrictions. It made Di Yushi feel even more played with!

"Know what you are!"

"Pure energy remains as long as I am alive. If I die, let alone the Celestial Emperor, even the Demon Emperor will kill everyone. Once you attack or intend to cripple me, I have many ways to end my life."

Xie Ran's words made Di Yushi stunned. The girl was right, if she were to die, neither the Celestial Emperor nor the Demon Emperor would spare anyone. He could not kill the girl carelessly or chaos would ensue sooner or later.

"One more time, if you hurt me, you won't get a gift from the Demon Emperor." Xie Ran spoke in a mocking tone.

"Why are you talking like that? What do you know about the Demon Emperor?" Di Yushi had been annoyed since he had realized the fact he was helpless in front of the girl whose life was protected by two strong men at once.

"Technically, I am engaged to the Celestial Emperor. Celestial Emperors are also Demon Emperors, they are one—though currently separated. If the Celestial Emperor could be so angry if I was injured, would the Demon Emperor also not be angry? I heard, the Demon Emperor's temperament is worse than that of the Celestial Emperor." Xie Ran leaned back quietly. It's good to have a strong back that protects him. There was no point in him accepting Qu Xuanzi's proposal.

Di Yushi had grasped the meaning of Xie Ran's sentence and became confused. If he catches Xie Ran now and gets hurt, it's not a reward that he gets but punishment. He knew exactly how monstrous the Demon Emperor's temperament was. Again he was annoyed by that shameless little girl!

But then he realized, listening to this immoral little girl was the same as giving up. If he just gave up, he would still receive punishment. So, it is better to finish it at once. At least, he did not kill the little girl and only made her unconscious.

When looking at Di Yushi's originally calm aura now becoming powerful, Xie Ran felt his speech was less manipulative. If he were to bring the manipulative Tang Yueha, he could use that annoying girl to make a crash.

"There is no other way" he murmured.

When Di Yushi started attacking again, Xie Ran immediately hung on the outer wall of the tower to dodge. Di Yushi grew increasingly upset to see Xie Ran hanging on the wall and jumping to another window to avoid it.

Xie Ran was already used to fighting in this way. Although it looked terrible as if it was about to fall, it did not feel that way and entered the other window lightly.

When he landed and looked up, he had found Ann Rou who was held up watching him enter from the height of the window. He had just entered after encountering many demons on the stairs while Xie Ran entered through the window just like he could fly. Xie Ran smiled broadly at her as he thought of a new plan.

In addition, King Ye Gu was busy holding Qu Xuanzi above the tower. While the man was just silent as if nothing had happened while paying attention to the movements of Xie Ran down there. He remained calm as usual, different from King Ye Gu who was starting to get depressed.

King Ye Gu felt wrong. He thought that he had restricted Qu Xuanzi's movements by setting up a barrier around the tower so that Qu Xuanzi could not help Xie Ran. But it seemed that the man was indeed intentionally unhelpful, instead letting Xie Ran fight alone with Di Yushi.

"Why don't you help her?" King Ye Gu was astonished.

"He'll mind." Qu Xuanzi did not need to lie to the would-be corpse. He could have killed King Ye Gu, but if he had killed that demon right now, he wouldn't have been this patient waiting for Xie Ran to kill Di Yushi. Let the girl practice without her help.

King Ye Gu looked at it with a trembling body as well as a choked neck. He didn't even have a chance to fight back and was just paralyzed in the air. In the next second, Qu Xuanzi's hand had already pressed against his neck faster and banged him against the wall until it cracked.

Qu Xuanzi looked at the living yet critical King Ye Gu with the same gaze without blinking. He let go of his strangulation leaving the poor man buried in a wall that was about to collapse.

He moved his lips muttering something barely audible, "You bore me."

The room had now been covered in ice and hurt the demons. Right after, Xie Ran had resonated with Ann Rou's ice, immediately confronted by Di Yushi who was angry about the freezing condition of the tower.

As Ann Rou fights the endless demons, Xie Ran teleports against Di Yushi. In Yushi causes Ann Rou's ice to melt in multiple directions and create a blaze that contrasts with the ice domain that was just created. Xie Ran slashed his sword, creating an ice lunge from the floor that hit Di Yushi like a storm.

Xie Ran did it several times to circle the area. Many pointy ice formed mounds from the floor surrounding him before Xie Ran finally made all the ice crisp flakes that pierced through many demons to death.

Di Yushi fended off all the pointy ice that attacked him and darted towards Xie Ran. However, some ice flew behind him and formed a large ice bird. The bird shrieked violently creating cold air as well as the chaotic ice lunge slaughtering the demons.

Di Yushi managed to escape the attack of the ice bird. He targeted Xie Ran and stomped his spear quickly. Xie Ran dodged a few times. He could obviously suppress Di Yushi right now, yet he was preparing the technique he had just learned from the seven heavens sword.

Xie Ran landed a bit away from Di Yushi. Several swords appeared accompanied by a cold aura forming an ice domain that froze the room. The swords darted away leaving behind a trail of ice that could freeze the air, hurtling around Di Yushi forming a sword prison.

Now, Xie Ran got him trapped without being able to fight back. The wars gave off pointy ice that was so cold and sharp, protruding like a huge thorn that pierced Di Yushi's body to the point of being unable to move.

Black blood dripped through the ice spines that appeared and flowed onto the floor in a frozen state. It was too cold and extinguished the fire that became Di Yushi's strength. Not getting there, the wars spun rapidly at Di Yushi and flew back towards Xie Ran before disappearing. In Yushi collapsed at that very moment.

Xie Ran remained silent for a while at the sight of his blood-filled work. He chuckled, looking at his sword reflecting his reflection clearly. A sword that was extremely powerful, yet quite draining its power. He should rest after this is over.

"Miss, everything's been cleaned." Ann Rou bowed near Xie Ran. He was rather surprised to see Di Yushi die so fervently. Apparently the ice that Xie Ran controlled could be more ruthless than hers.

Xie Ran faced him, kept the sword and spoke, "We will go to the South Sea today."

Qu Xuanzi up there felt that Xie Ran had solved his problem, he resolved King Ye Gu's problem as if someone in his hands was just an insect that didn't need to be noticed. Then it just disappeared, letting the poor man dry up, only skin and bone were left.

He appeared right in front of Xie Ran who had just come out from where Di Yushi's corpse was. He smiled at Qu Xuanzi. "I'll go straight to the South Sea. Doesn't matter?"

Qu Xuanzi grabbed Xie Ran's pretty messy hair then tidied it up a bit. "You're a mess."

The man turned around grasping Xie Ran's arm while checking his pulse. Very chaotic, yet he remained flat as usual. "Don't know what will happen when it arrives, but it will definitely fight Hydra. You must be at the top."

Xie Ran smiled wryly feeling this man was very protective. "I will recover after a long journey, based on your circling path."

Seeing that Qu Xuanzi was just silent, Xie Ran felt that the man remained disapproving. Because the power of Xie Ran reduced very drastically after using a technique that is so large and still foreign to his body. Xie Ran had sustained an internal injury, making Qu Xuanzi not want Xie Ran to travel to the South Sea any faster.

"Well, I'll take a three-day break." Xie Ran felt like he had no more chances, only being able to give up. Though he intends to rest on the journey so that the mission is quickly completed. But it looks like he has to take longer.

Whereas Xie Ran wanted to shorten the time, Qu Xuanzi actually wanted to stay here longer. The problem was, after coming from the South Sea, he had to part with Xie Ran again because his journey was no match for Xie Ran. He had calculated everything, Xie Ran did not know that.

They returned to Ye City. Li Ningzhi who was lost in the forest saw them in the distance, instantly making herself so pitiful. But when he remembered Qu Xuanzi who 'putting' Xiao Caihong to him, he turned pale realizing the little boy had gone missing. He panicked for a moment.

Li Ningzhi was restless. He was just about to act pathetically to have long since searched for Xiao Caihong as if to worry about him, but it turned out that Xiao Caihong had been present in the Azure Dragon sling that had suddenly appeared when it was about to approach Qu Xuanzi.

"Miss, why are you here?" ask the Azure Dragon.

Li Ningzhi looked at him in surprise. He looked down feeling awry thinking Xiao Caihong complained to him. If he were to be cold to the child, forget whether Qu Xuanzi would like him.

"Little sister, where have you been? I'm so worried about looking for you." Li Ningzhi tried to grab Xiao Caihong, the little boy just brushed him off ferociously as if disgusted with those snow-white hands.

Xiao Caihong looked at the whereabouts of Xie Ran and Qu Xuanzi who arrived between them instantly leaped in excitement. He descended from the Azure Dragon sling, dashed towards them with tiny legs, then tugged at Xie Ran's clothes.

Xie Ran knew Xiao Caihong's intention of being hungry after fighting the demons. But he himself lost a lot of energy. He could die if he fed Xiao Caihong pure energy.

"I don't feel so serious" muttered Xie Ran. It seemed like Qu Xuanzi already knew, it was only appropriate to forbid him to travel and directly call the Moon Physician.

Xie Ran glanced at Qu Xuanzi who was standing before the door like a living statue watching him. He sighed. It was indeed unable to hide anything in front of that master teacher.

"Then, my servant slaughtered." Yue Lu bowed to Xie Ran as well as Qu Xuanzi before exiting the room. His task is done, he wants to continue the delayed sleep.

Xie Ran lowered his blanket, seeing that Qu Xuanzi was gone, he sighed. But when he realized the man was still watching him from inside the pendant, a sense of annoyance appeared until ruffled his own hair like a frustrated person.

It feels ... so want to cry ....
