4. Mysterious Man

Don't think the Xie Clan fool is dead.

Xie Ran who sensed the fools had left without confirming his death revealed a sly look in the middle of the height.

No one could hurt him if there was no permission from him. No one can kill him but himself. Even in his previous life, he ended his life by throwing himself into the sea.

Up at the center where the light is located, a round object looks the size of a basketball but in the shape of a white egg. It is milky white and has a trail of soil at the bottom of the nest.

A bird's nest is bigger than an egg. The egg emitted a strong red glow and had warm air around it.

This was the first time Xie Ran had seen such a big egg in his entire life. Right in front of his eyes, the egg emitted a radiance beautifully and so quietly. It is a rare treasure! Xie Ran couldn't possibly miss it!

If he could bring that huge egg to the modern world, it was certain that he would become famous. He doesn't need to be a killing machine anymore. He will live a good life forever and go down in history as the inventor of the mysterious giant egg. Unfortunately, he lives in a land filled with magic and oppressed by bad people.

Suddenly an argument came up. It should be a magic animal egg. If there are eggs, then there should be a mother. But where's the mother?

Xie Ran shook his head quickly, dismissing that thought hoping that there was no parent. If there was a parent, it was certain that he would die right then and there. Right now he could only pray that his mother did not come to destroy him due to a misunderstanding.

Right after Xie Ran prayed like that, there was a cracking sound that made Xie Ran shudder. He looked at the egg closer.

When he got to the nest, he felt the nest hotter than the fire and made his bare feet turn red.

"It's so hot" his his hiss had an ugly expression.

He placed the stone on top of the nest to check the temperature, the stone shattered instantly as if it had entered into a molten lava. That's horrible!

It was a pity that Xie Ran could only watch from outside the nest while the egg was in the middle of the nest.

Looking back at the changes that had happened to the egg, the egg grew even more cracked as if it had hit something. The fire devoured the egg from the bottom up as if burning the egg to ripen.

Of course it surprised Xie Ran who had just seen the eggs hatch. Did the eggs hatch perfectly after being roasted to such a fire? At once, the egg should have been charred like he had done so he wanted to see the chicken hatch.

Somewhat stupid indeed because he put it in the oven to warm up—thought it would hatch inside. Forget about the Chicken hatching experiment in the oven.

The fire engulfed the egg. The longer it gets bigger until finally the entire crack of the egg burns out.

Xie Ran was worried. What if the creature died from being roasted? What if it's charred? The thought continued to repeat itself with worry.

Although Xie Ran's life was filled with blood, his thoughts remained simple for anything other than killing.

The flames slowly faded by themselves. The longer it got thinner, the egg seemed to shrink like smoke entering the hole.

A small figure appeared as if it had devoured the flames in its mouth into the body. His mouth chewed on the fire without teeth and looked pleased while flapping his little wings on the body that looked like a lizard.

The little creature's round eyes were directed at Xie Ran. His little wings were flapped hoping to float in midair, but ended up falling into the nest.

Her distinctive voice that sounded hoarse and shrill out from her mouth towards Xie Ran as if to say something to him. Xie Ran was just pensive.

His wings continued to shake, trying to attract the attention of humans in front of his eyes while his head was tilted.

His feet stepped while his lizard-like body swayed according to footsteps then stuck to Xie Ran's body comfortably. The creature crept and rubbed its head on Xie Ran's body!

"This ...." Xie Ran was stunned. He was just watching from afar, how could it be like this?

This is too awesome!

"Although I have an eagle as a pet, but not necessarily ...." Xie Ran groaned in frustration. How did a little monster stick to him! This is an accident. What if the mother is angry? He could die!

Just when thinking about it, a loud roar sounded making the fur of me sitting Xie Ran up. A strange burst of power emerged from that direction right towards Xie Ran without any calculations. Xie Ran immediately retreated while the little monster was still clinging to him.

Xie Ran tried to explain but the monster did not believe, instead looking at him more sharply. His eyes were full of hostility and anger to the point of making cold sweat pour out.

Xie Ran did not react, he still closed his ears and was shocked when he heard such a cold voice. But he just kept quiet.

His shadow appeared along with a ray that struck the Dragon back severely. The shadow of a handsome and tall man floated in the air, black hair perched on top of his white clothes. The sharp black iris stared at the huge Dragon that was full of a cold aura.

The dragon was shocked to feel the suppression that made his body tremble. He was defeated in one blow. No way!

In an instant, the Dragon was bowed in silence full of regret. Had he listened to the little girl's words, the man behind her would not have come out oppressing.

The dragon was so down. He let out a few low voices as if speaking to the mysterious man. While the mysterious man just kept silent without talking and narrowed his eyes as if knowing what the Dragon said.

Seeing that the man looked even more annoyed, the Dragon was again confused. He said a few words through the dragon language trying to negotiate so as not to be beaten shamefully, so that he could escape the oppression of the mysterious man and his life was saved.

After considering for a while, the man looked at the Dragon as if doubting him. The dragon tried to convince, then the man agreed—entah how he conveyed it.

The dragon approached him making Xie Ran retreat until cornered. Didn't that guy stop him? Xie Ran did not understand the dragon language. The dragon seemed to talk to him and looked down.

"What are you doing?" Xie Ran was getting more and more clueless. Plus the little Dragon who was originally at his waist crept to his shoulders and watched the huge Dragon as if seeing a show.

Slowly, the size of the huge Dragon shrank. The longer it shrinks into a cute little Dragon Snake.

What the hell is going on here? Why did the dragon shrink? Xie Ran's thoughts about the world were completely distorted!

The Dragon Snake acted cute like a Dragon on Xie Ran's shoulder. Suddenly the Dragon on Xie Ran's shoulder jumped towards the shrinking Dragon and flapped its wings looking delighted, while the Dragon Snake was circling so that its long body was surging.

What kind of sight is this?! Xie Ran felt like crying now. How could he be stuck with two cute little Dragons?

"Master, take us!"
