Dinner With Lily
Jay only prayed in his heart that Lily or Key could return to the living room immediately. Jay is terrified by Brian and Luke's current gaze, which they're guessing about Jay.
Brian and Luke don't want Lily to have a bad friend, which is why they see Jay that way.
“So you are a friend of my beloved little princess? How long have you been friends with my daughter until you dare to come late to meet my daughter” said Brian with all his decisiveness.
“That's because he's a lazy kid and always plays games, Dad. She doesn't deserve to be Lily's friend because she's too lazy and inconsistent. It is better for Lily to find another friend who is better than her”, said Lukas with all his weaknesses.
“A-I didn't accidentally come late here. I-I ask you to excuse me if I-I've done it wrong, but I-I don't want to stop being her friend Lily” said Jay with all her fears.
“You are a boy so you have to answer all the questions firmly and loudly. I don't want my daughter to have a weak and lazy friend like you. Do you understand!” brian's assertive that makes Jay jerked in shock.
“Kak Key hiks.. help me Brother, hurry back here. Lily... Where are you? Why would you leave me with these two cold and scary men.” Jay spoke in his heart with a slightly trembling body.
It wasn't long before Lily came along carrying a bag and some books she needed. Seeing that Lily has returned, Luke and Brian return to calm as usual because they do not want to make Lily feel suspicious of them.
“I've brought all the books we need, Jay. Now we can start our group work ehh...why does Jay seem to tremble in fear? Did Father and Bang Luke do something to Jay?” lily asked with her confused face.
“No... we do nothing. Anyway, I was just playing games, and Dad checked his work on his laptop. Isn't that Dad?” luke said as he glanced at Jay.
“Of course it's true. Oh yeah, what group do you want to work for? It's possible that Father and Bang Luke can help you” said Brian who deliberately changed the topic.
When Lily wanted to answer Brian's question, suddenly Mother Hana and Key came while carrying a tray containing drinks and one containing various snacks. They put it on the table and then sat down on their seats.
Then Lily and Jay began working on their group assignments with Mother Hana who always helped them. While Luke and Brian only pay attention to all the movements of Jay who sits quite close to Lily.
What about Key? Yeah, he just sat down and read the book he brought from home, because Key knew he would get bored if he kept quiet. A few hours had passed and finally their group work was finished as well.
“Because it's almost dinner now, why don't you guys have dinner with us here? I will contact your parents and ask for permission if you want” Mother Hana said in a soft tone.
“We do not want to trouble you Auntie, we better go home because Daddy and Mommy must have been waiting for us now. After all we can eat together another time, if it is possible” Key said with a little smile.
“Yaahh. Why don't you guys want to? Do you not want to have dinner with Lily hemm.” Lily said as she looked at Jay and Key with her sad face.
“Ya.. ya already, ka-then I-Kak Key and I will have dinner together here with all of you. So now don't be sad anymore huh.. how sis? Is it okay if we have dinner together?” jay asked who made Key just sigh.
“It turns out Key is a very mature and polite girl huh... Mother also felt that the nature of Key is almost similar to the nature of Brother Luke. Dad also felt the way Mother felt, didn't you?” ask Mother Hana while looking at Brian.
“That's right Mother, that's why I call her Luke's Branch Lion and Kak Key's a lioness. Maybe if the Branches of Luke and Kak Key unite, later their children will become baby lions of the same nature as they hihi.”.
Lily says it all spontaneously, which makes Key and Luke look at each other and then they both stare in the other direction. Mother Hana who saw that could only hold her smile.
“Alright... Then I'll go prepare dinner for all of us. You just wait here until I call you when dinner is done” Mother Hana smiled and went to the kitchen.
“Then I will go out for a while and call our parents first, excuse me..” said Key who went to the park next to Brian's family home and called Mommy Nisha.
Mommy Nisha is in the kitchen so when Mommy Nisha's phone rings, Daddy Ken picks it up. Mommy Nisha doesn't know if her phone rings and Daddy Ken answers the call.
📱 “Hello Mommy.. Tonight Jay and I will have dinner at the house of his friend Jay. Maybe we will be home a little late, but Mommy is calm because I will always take care of Jay” Key said on the phone.
📱 “Who are you able to decide all this by yourself. If you want to play, then don't bring my son in on this. Then what do you mean you're guarding him?”
📱 “Do you think my son can't take care of himself? Do not doubt you just because you are 1 year older than my son. You are just a weak and useless woman just like your dead Mommy”
Key heard Daddy Ken's bad words about his real Mommy like that.
Meanwhile, Mommy Nisha who just came to the living room and saw that Daddy Ken was using his phone was immediately taken by force which made his call cut off.
Key who heard Mommy Nisha's scream before his call was cut off made him even more sad.
Key sat down as his tears continued to flow. Meanwhile Mother Hana who saw Key crying was immediately approached and hugged him.
Do not know why, but Key felt comfortable with the embrace of Mother Hana was making her cry even worse.
Mother Hana, who did not know what happened, just hugged Key while rubbing Key's back to calm him down.
Without them knowing it turns out Brian, Luke, Lily and Jay are behind them. Jay who understood why his sister was crying was immediately running and hugged Key. Then Mother Hana also hugged Key and Jay simultaneously because Jay joined in crying with Key.
