The Phoenix Blood Legend
Ch. 13 — Xing Wang

Wave and Shen Yin Ye were immediately startled when they heard the Phoenix Fire Shadow saying that the ancestor of the witches was one of the Demon Dragons that came from the Underworld.

The ancestor of these witches was the Great Witch Reymond. (See a little discussed in Ch. 4 )

Great Witch Reymond is known as a hero on Planet Arizone. Because, he is a witch who managed to expel creatures from the Underworld that colonized the Planet a thousand years ago. And all this he covered in a book before he mysteriously disappeared eight hundred years ago.

If the image shown by the mirror made by the Phoenix Flame Shadow and all the stories uttered from its mouth were true, then all the stories written by the Great Witch Reymond were a huge lie. It's all fake ...!!

Wave couldn't believe what he was hearing and what he was seeing right now. He had always considered the Great Witch Reymond to be the best person on the entire Planet, even he had already considered the Great Witch Reymond an ancestor in his own family.

Wave then took out the Great Witch Reymond's relic book from the storage ring that was in his right hand. It just so happened that this book he had borrowed from the library of the magic academy two hours before that Demon Dragon attacked the Four Seasons Continent. He had not yet returned the book to the library.

Wave has read this ancient book a lot. Because, in the book there are some ancient magic spells that he has not managed to learn. Not just anyone can learn the ancient magic spell because the language in the ancient magic spell is taught hereditary only to the direct disciples of the Great Witch Reymond.

And ... The person who had been teaching Wave magic techniques was one of the direct disciples of the Great Witch Reymond. Because of this, Wave could become a Great Witch and have better power among the current witches.

Wave then handed the ancient book to the Phoenix Flame Shadow to dispel the doubts in his heart. “Please look at this ancient book for a moment. This ancient book was written directly by the Great Witch Reymond. Is there any trace of the Demonic Dragon from the Underworld?”

Shadow Phoenix Flame then looked at the book while narrowing his eyes. A dazzling beam of fire like sunlight shot out from the eyes of the Phoenix Flame Shadow and burned every side of the book.

A pitch-black aura that resembled a Dragon measuring around twenty centimeters straight out of the ancient book as the white-colored flame belonging to the Phoenix Flame Shadow would move further into the center of the book.

“Look carefully at the aura of dark energy protecting that ancient book. That aura contained the demonic air that came from the Dragon Race. So it can be ascertained if the one who wrote the book was a Demon Dragon from the Underworld. It seems like the Book he deliberately created by to cover his true identity and attract the sympathy of the humans so that he can easily form an army on this Planet.”

Wave could no longer doubt this utterance from the Phoenix Flame Shadow because a hill he had obtained had shown that the Great Witch Reymond was actually a Demon Dragon that came from the Underworld.

“He behaves like a hero in front of all humans. But he was actually a Devil who was planning a counterattack to destroy mankind. I will definitely kill him with these two hands if I meet the Great Witch Reymond.”

Wave's mind was currently filled with immense anger when he recalled that this Great Witch Reymond had deceived the entire human race for thousands of years.

Instantly, Wave regained consciousness if all of his magic power had disappeared and his body construction had changed completely. Now, he was a cultivator. However, his current cultivation level was at the most basic level. He was reborn like a newborn baby.

“You don't worry. Even though you are at the most basic level right now. However, your cultivation increase would be extremely fast, it could probably be a hundred times faster than a normal human. Remember carefully that inside your body is currently the Phoenix Blood. That Phoenix blood will definitely bring great benefits to your cultivation development,” exclaimed Shadow Phoenix Flame.

From the forehead of the Phoenix Flame Shadow suddenly appeared a scroll of letters and directly landed on Wave's right hand.

“The scroll is a map of every Phoenix nest scattered throughout Planet Arizone. In each nest was a book containing the secret techniques of each Phoenix. You should go to all those places and learn all the secret techniques of the Phoenix Clan.”

“But, doesn't every Phoenix have its own element of power? And the book must be related to the element that each Phoenix.” has

Wave said the right thing. Currently inside his body there was only the element of fire. So how could he learn the secret book of the Snow Phoenix that was supposed to be ice-elemental.

“In each of the Phoenix's nests there is a heart containing the Phoenix Blood except the Snow Phoenix because the Snow Phoenix has chosen its own successor. Put that Phoenix Blood into your body then you will have the element of that Phoenix. However, you must have a cultivation level high enough to be able to withstand the backlash effects of merging the elements.”

“I understand.” Wave immediately stored the map inside his storage ring.

That Phoenix Flame shadow slowly began to fade. Yep! the time for that Fire Phoenix Shadow was already running out. The heart of the Fire Phoenix that had been the place to store the rest of the Phoenix soul, had been destroyed. So this remnant Phoenix Soul must return to its original place of nothingness. In fact this Phoenix had long since died, he had deliberately left behind a thread of his soul to find a suitable successor.

After all the Fire Phoenix had passed down its will to Wave through his blood. Later on, the aura emanating from Wave's body could form its own Phoenix Flame Shadow like Shen Yin Ye who could summon the Snow Phoenix Shadow because inside the Phoenix Blood was actually the Origin Phoenix Soul.

“Your current appearance has completely changed after your body was reset with my Blood and Skeleton. Therefore, I will give you a new identity. From now on your name is Xing Wang. That name is the name of my son who has been killed by one of the Demon Dragons.”

The Phoenix Flame Shadow finally completely disappeared after giving Wave a new identity.
