Ch. 57 — Body Unification.

“The human body can actually only fuse with one of the Phoenix skeletons alone. Each Phoenix has a special nature and character that can never be put together in the moment of the body. Therefore, if in a person's body there has been a Phoenix Skeleton then the body will reject the presence of another Phoenix skeleton.”

The Thunder Phoenix answered Xing Wang's question with an extremely majestic voice like an Emperor. However, Xing Wang couldn't just believe all the words of the Thunder Phoenix. Because, deep down in his heart was like a voice ordering that he also merge his body with the skeleton of the Thunder Phoenix.

And, the whisper of the voice was almost similar to the voice of the Fire Phoenix. Although he had only once met the Fire Phoenix, but he could still clearly remember how the voice possessed by the creature had given him the chance to come back to life.

 “Sorry, but I cannot believe it. What if you try to unite myself with the skeleton of the Thunder Phoenix that is behind you. If that process fails, then I will give up.”

Xing Wang did not want to let go of the opportunity he had to gain even more power. Because, he had to fight and defeat the Great Witch Reymond after coming out of this tomb. Moreover, the skeleton of the Thunder Phoenix that was before him at the moment did not pose any threat to him at all and only resembled a giant-sized statue.

It was precisely this soul left behind by the Thunder Phoenix that caused a lot of trouble and hindered him from obtaining the legacy left behind by the Thunder Phoenix.

The soul left behind by the Thunder Phoenix was then transformed into a giant-sized Thunder Phoenix figure similar to his condition before he was far away. In addition, it also emitted an aura of great grandeur that was as profound as a Beast descending from the kahyangan.

Anyone who saw this Thunder Phoenix, would definitely tremble in fear and immediately move away. Unless that person had a pretty high amount of courage like Xing Wang.

A moment later, the soul that had changed form began to fuse with the Thunder Phoenix skeleton that was behind him. This scene was slightly different to the time when Xing Wang obtained the inheritance of the Fire Phoenix.

The two Thunder Phoenix eyes stared intently at Xing Wang like thousands of lightning bolts raining down on his body. “I'll soon begin the process of merging our bodies together. This process will be more painful than when you combine the body with the skeleton of the Fire Phoenix.”

Xing Wang simply responded with a nod of his head. Because, he was currently concentrating on protecting all the meridian points in his body with pure Qi so as not to be damaged during the process of uniting his body with the Thunder Phoenix skeleton.

“Good, it seems that this boy already knows what he must do so as not to have much damage to his body if this process of unification of the body fails.” The Thunder Phoenix muttered as it looked at every single meridian point that was on Xing Wang's body had been covered with an extremely strong pure Qi since within that Qi was also the pure Qi of the Fire Phoenix.

A soul that had fused with the skeleton of the Thunder Phoenix began to turn into a ball of light surrounded by heavenly lightning and had quite a strong pressure.

The ball of light instantly entered into Xing Wang's dantian easily as if there was no protection whatsoever around his dantian. Whereas, Xing Wang had previously also protected his dantian with a pure Qi that was far greater than the protection he had on his meridian points.

When that ball of light entered into his Dantian, he immediately felt an extremely painful sensation. His entire body was as if struck by thousands of lightning bolts that were extremely powerful and had a sharpness exceeding that of a sword.

The lightning energy that was able to tear down the world continued to spread into Xing Wang's body mercilessly. Until he felt that he was standing in the middle of the heavenly lightning vortex. Though a sensation like this should only be felt by a cultivator who was about to break through to a greater realm level.

'Will I also experience a cultivation level breakthrough if this body merging process is successful?' muttered Xing Wang looking pleased.

Xing Wang tried to calm himself as calmly as possible so that he could help the Thunder Phoenix. Because, only he can control the power of the Fire Phoenix. He sat down quietly and began to suppress the energy emanating from the figure of the Fire Phoenix that was on his body.

“Good! Turns out you know what you have to do.” The Thunder Phoenix did not miss this opportunity and attacked the figure of the Fire Phoenix with full force.

It didn't take long, the figure of the Fire Phoenix that was blocking the Thunder Phoenix was successfully conquered.

Xing's body immediately began to be enveloped with a vortex of lightning and fire energy that was so powerful that it made Xing Wang's body seem to be inside a gigantic egg-sized shell.

The process of melting Xing Wang's body, the Fire Phoenix's skeleton and Thunder Phoenix's skeleton instantly took place within that giant egg shell.

The energy pressure inside Goa is increasing and making all parts of Goa vibrate strongly as if it is about to collapse.

The sky that was outside of Goa also started to rumble and hundreds of heavenly lightning bolts came down simultaneously grabbing onto one point as if wanting to welcome the birth of a God.

All of the residents living around the Demon Kingdom became discovered and his gaze immediately turned towards the palace where the Thunder Phoenix tomb Cave was located.

However, they were all unable to see what was really happening in that place because that region belonged to a forbidden area. In addition, Emperor Jie was also standing in front of Goa's entrance as if he was guarding it so that no one would dare to enter.

Of course Shen Yin Ye was also there and stood beside Emperor Jie.

“Let me take care of this place. You go help your soldiers before they are all killed by the Great Witch Reymond,” exclaimed Shen Yin Ye.
