Ch. 40 — Demon King Emergence

“Your time is up. Basic stealth wolf no doubt in the lucky!!”

Xing Wang's patience was over. He had actually given Feng Lang many times the opportunity to realize his mistake. However, the haughty and arrogant nature attached to this wolf demon self had blinded his eyes to the point of making him unable to realize Xing Wang's kindness.

The phoenix Flame Sword that Xing Wang had in hand shot straight towards Feng Lang's heart and intended to kill this wolf demon with just a single slash.

But ....

An extremely strong gust of wind suddenly appeared and locked onto Xing Wang's movements. Though the distance with Feng Lang was only two steps away.

“Sial!! This wild wolf demon seems to have a guard.” Xing Wang muttered then looked towards the sky where this mysterious wind was coming from. “Who are you really!! Quickly show me my form if you dare. Don't hide behind the clouds like a coward!!”

Xing Wang who had been carried away by emotions was completely unable to manage her words anymore. He also hurled some curses toward the sky when he received no response from his call.

The energy pressure that was around this place slowly began to sharply increase and made Xing Wang seem as if he had been struck by a mountain weighing thousands of tons. In fact, both of his legs began to fall into the ground.

“Enough!! Stop fighting you two. Are you two not aware that the actions of the two of you have almost destroyed half of the territory of the Early Continent?”

A voice that sounded extremely Supreme resounded over the sky and gave Xing Wang and Feng Lang a warning. From his voice Xing Wang could guess if this owner was a Beast. However, what kind of Beast was able to make him feel the same sensation when he first heard the sound of the Fire Phoenix Bird?

The shadow of a gigantic snake that had nine heads suddenly appeared and stared towards Xing Wang. That gaze had absolutely no trace of hostility, instead the figure of the giant snake was like paying its own respects when it saw Xing Wang.

“I'm sorry for my men's leniency. I am the ruler of this Early Continent. Actually, I was just giving both of them the task of bringing my son who had run away from home to return as soon as possible. But, I didn't think that the two of them would make a noise like this.”

The shadowy figure of the giant snake then turned its gaze towards Feng Lang. A green colored ray suddenly shot out the day of the snake demon mustika that was on his head and healed all the wounds that were on Feng Lang's body in just a matter of seconds.

Feng Lang immediately got up and kowtowed salute to the snake demon after all the wounds on his body had been healed. With a slightly trembling tone of voice in fear, Feng Lang told what had actually happened in this place to the giant snake demon.

The giant snake demon had actually known what was really happening in this place because he had been using the special power he had to monitor the existence of the Serpent Demon Roar.
