The Price Of Sincerity

The Price Of Sincerity
The Unexpected Emergence

The morning sun came in through the frilly window curtain, shining in Jane's closed eyes. Jane frowned realizing something was blinding her eyes, she raised her arms and closed her eyes before she woke up sitting down.

“Ashh,” Jane sighed in pain as she felt a throbbing pulse in her head. “What I fainted again.” Jane squeezes the bed sheets, she looks out the window. A bright morning. Jane took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before lowering her foot to the side of the bed to get out of there. Resisting the pain in his head.

But her body movements came to a sudden halt when a woman opened the door, the woman with the towel in her hand. He looks like he is rubbing his shoulder-length short hair with that soft object. It's Shara.

“Jane. You're up.” Shara immediately approached Jane who was sitting on the edge of the bed. “What happened? What's the relapse again? Ah, I'll get you your medicine for a minute.”

Shara moved away from Jane. He went to the corner of the room where what a bunch of bags. He's looking for something, Jane's cure. He was looking around but nothing, he clearly remembered carrying the medicine. He remembered that he had put the medicine in the bag. But where, which bag. She searched all the bags she was carrying, her bags and Jane's bags. He searched for a long time but never found it.

“Shar, already. I'm doing fine. I don't need those drugs anymore.” Jane got out of bed. He walked over to Shara's place, slipping both his hands around her waist. Jane hugged him from behind and said, “Thank you very much.”

Shara was stunned to hear the sentence that Jane said. “What is this? What's wrong with you. Don't scare me like this. Tell me what happened last night?” Shara breaks away from the embrace and turns around, confronting Jane. He looked at the woman seriously waiting for an answer.

Their eyes met, looking a long time before Jane replied, “Ah, take it easy I'm fine. Last night was just plain dizzy, you also know the effect of the cure. I've been taking the drug for almost five years, so it looks like I should stop taking the pills right.”

“But Jane, what if relapse again. You can't even sleep without that drug. And also you passed out last night, is it possible that— you hid something from me?”

“Which way I might be hiding something. Trust me. I'm doing fine. That night was just an ordinary pain, really.”

“Hemmm ..” Shara agreed with complete doubt. “Good. Then where's the cure? Let me keep it just in case.”

“I've wasted.”

“What?!”

Shara's loud and loud voice seemed to echo in the room. He was shocked, unable to believe what he had just heard. Could Jane just throw away the medicine she needed all this time, and say she's okay.?!

Jane's face smiled broadly without the slightest guilt. She went away from Shara and disappeared in the doorway after saying, “remember me I haven't had a shower last night.”

“He smiled? Smile?? Ooh, ****. He must have gone crazy, it looks like he does need that drug.” Shara walks towards the bed and picks up her phone which is on the table near the bed. He opened the navigation and searched for the nearest pharmacy.

/Not found/

Shara sent a short message. 'Can you come over here and bring Jane some medicine. This is location.' A short message with the location link he sent Devan. The only person who could fulfill his request, there might be another one. Husband, Tom. But she won't contact him, because she doesn't want to bother her husband who is investigating someone. A gent.

During the day, it is quite hot because the sun is parallel to the crown of the head. But Shara who sat on the balcony waiting for her lunch order to come did not feel the slightest heat, she instead felt cool because of the wind that came to her. He was busy with his cell phone, opening social media. He saw the posts of several celebrities and models.

Ting.

Suddenly a single notification appeared above his phone screen. A message came in from her husband. 'My husb', written on the screen, he opened it. A file and some photos are attached to it, but once he will open the file he heard the bell from the entrance. Shara simply put her phone on the table and walked towards the door.

And as soon as the door opened, he was shocked. He was surprised to see the person he did not think of in the least. He thought that the one standing there was the courier who brought lunch for himself and Jane. But he was wrong, it wasn't a courier. There was no way a courier would deliver food by wearing a neat suit in a leather jacket and carrying a few people behind him. The man, Max, stood before him.

Just a few minutes later, Max sat sweetly on the brown sofa there with two men in black shirts standing behind him. Shara is helpless when the man demands of her if she wants to meet Jane and just let her in. She was agitated, she was worried about whether she made the mistake of letting the man in. While Jane-she can't imagine the woman's expression if she sees the man who's been interfering with her mind all this time suddenly appearing before her.

With doubt and a little nervous Shara asks, she wants to know why the man suddenly appeared there and also why the man still wants to see Jane after what happened. Plus, she wanted to get to know the man, whether it was worth being loved by Jane or not.

"Sorry, but what are you-."

"Shara, didn't you bring that pink bra back then? I-i."

Shara's sentence immediately came to a halt as soon as she saw Jane wearing only a striped orange bra and ********** which was standing on the stairs. He went to the beach after lunch. But it looks like the plan is off. All eyes were on him. But the two men standing behind Max instantly turned their eyes. Meanwhile, Max stood up swiftly and took off his leather jacket, walking closer to Jane who was still silent on the stairs.

"Why are you so careless" Max said as he draped his leather jacket over Jane's shoulder.

Jane took her eyes off Max. "You-you're why you're here."

"We need to talk."

"There's nothing we need to talk about." With a flat look, Jane took the jacket off her body and turned around. Max was silent for a moment when he saw his jacket fall on the stairs before taking it back. Without thinking, Max lifted the woman's body and carried her in his arms up the stairs.

"Hey. What are you doing, put me down." Jane hit Max's chest several times, but was ignored by him. Shara who saw it immediately stood up and was about to approach them, but her steps came to a halt as two men who entered with Max stood in front of her, holding her back to stay there and nowhere.
