The Queen of Death Return

The Queen of Death Return
Rapidly Growing

Hela stopped her steps. Anxious look from his face.

The woman turned to face Hela.

"What worries you?"

Previously, Hela was very enthusiastic about wanting to gain strength after seeing the powerful figure before her. However, doubts began to appear in his heart.

Hela slowly backed away.

"You doubt me, Hela?"

Hela nodded.

"Alright, I'll tell you about myself-"

Hela shook her head. "No."

"Huh?"

"I just want to know your name,"

The woman was a little confused to hear Hela's words.

"Naura once said, with just a name, one can tell the stories of others as time goes on."

The woman was getting confused digesting Hela's words. A very complicated word than in a little girl.

"Eheem .. Well, if you're curious, I'll let you know. My name .... Ker."

Ker's? That only?

Ker closed his eyes for a moment after telling Hela her name.

The Mana flow in the cave was getting stronger. Hela was extremely depressed when the Mana energy passed through her body.

Ker opened his eyes.

"Are you okay?" ask Hela.

"Master,"

"I'm sorry?" Hela was confused by Ker's answer.

"Call me Master."

Hela thought for a moment before answering Ker's words.

This guy's not lying, maybe. But I'm starting to like it.

"Good, Master."

Ker and Hela continued walking towards the circular stone pillars.

Hela's attention was fixed on a chunk of rock in the middle of the stone pillars. It looks like a place to sit. Because the top is flat.

"Master, what exactly is this?"

They arrive. Ker entered in the middle of the stone pillars.

"Sit here, Hela."

Hela hesitated a bit. It's all because of the flat expression that Ker always shows. His words were not in line with his expression.

With a hint of hesitation, Hela sat on a boulder.

"Now, how do you feel?"

Hela closed her eyes. Now he focused on feeling what was around him.

"I feel Mana all over this place, Master."

But, why is this so different from what I used to feel?

Hela was trying to understand the current situation.

Ker moved to the back of Hela. He touched Hela's back with his right hand.

A powerful Mana energy began to enter Hela's body.

"Aghhh!" Hela tried to endure the pain in her body as a result of Mana exceeding her capacity.

"Hmmm ...." Ker took his touch off Hela's back.

Hela's breath felt tight, her lungs like they would explode if it continued.

W-how can there be such a varied Mana?

There were many questions in Hela's head after doing a short meditation. However, Hela's chest was so tight that it was hard to speak.

"This is your first lesson. Feeling the Mana to the third stage. You don't seem to understand this yet, I'll explain."

Hela listened while recovering her condition.

"Where is the first stage, the collection of Mana energy from nature that is often used by witches and the like. Where the first stage includes the elements that exist in nature, you should know about what those elements are,"

Ker's face, which previously looked flat and cold, now looks enthusiastic when explaining about Mana to Hela.

"Second stage. Combined elemental magic and support from spirits. They come from the same source, nature. However, the support from the spirit will add to the magic power to be used,"

"Spirit?"

"Hmmm .. they are a Dryad race that has evolved into a nature spirit. They're very good at providing support, and you have to make a contract with them if you want to work together,"

"I understand, Master."

Hela's breathing has returned to normal. There is something new that he learned from previous events, namely ....

Master purposely explained it all when I was in a bad condition like that. I'm sure it's one of those exercises that divides my focus into things.

"And lastly, stage three,"

Hela was silent. The last thing was the most important part for him.

"It has to do with the soul. If you're not careful, then your soul can be eroded. You should be able to sense Mana that is not mixed by other Mana. Where this can erode the soul if used carelessly, an example is dark storm-roof magic,"

Hela shook her head as she did not sense the existence of the Mana in question.

"Well, because your physique is not yet formed, and it is not ready to accept the other Mana variations."

Hela's attention was drawn to the look on her Master's face that seemed to enjoy giving her an explanation.

"Is there something wrong with my face?"

Hela shook her head. "No-no, Master. It's just that you look different than before. You seem to enjoy it."

Ker's face that previously looked peaceful is now changed. Not a flat expression, but a look of annoyance.

Energy pressure filled the place.

Hela was terrified.

I-I made a mistake! Master's face was extremely irritated, like an outpouring of emotions that had long been harbored, and now exploded.

"M-master."

Ker sat next to Hela.

"Master, forgive me!" Hela knelt before Ker.

Ker pulled Hela back to sit on the rock with him.

Hela was anxious, she was afraid of being killed by her Master.

"Helma ...."

"Yes, Master,"

"Sometimes it's hard to say,"

Ker's words immediately pierced Hela's heart. Like a warning so as not to carelessly ask someone. It's Hela's habit because Naura always spoils her, so the habit was carried away until now.

"As time goes by, you'll soon find out the answer" Ker continued in a slightly loud tone.

"Good, Master."

*logs

Ker patted Hela's back.

"Now, we continue."

Ker explains all the magic concepts to Hela. Everything is going properly.

"Do you understand?"

"Master, I have never heard of anything like this, even the book that Legarde brought from the Tower Region had no explanation like this. Even about the stages of Mana mastery was not written in the book,"

While in the small hut first, Hela often read books that Legarde brought. The book is about the basics of magic.

"Well, because I'm the one who invented this method,"

"Well, great master." Hela clapped her hands, she was so amazed by the words of her Master.

"Since you can already master the first stage that is the basis of magic, then this time I will teach you how to master the second stage,"

"Doing a contract with the spirit,"

"true." Ker stroked Hela's head. "Only by mastering these three stages can you easily learn, and create new magic,"

Hela's eyes instantly shone when she heard her Master's words.

I didn't know that learning magic would be fun like this. Master's creation method, I'm looking forward to it!

In a loud voice, Hela said, "I will study earnestly, Master!"

Hela training begins.

 ------------------------------

15 Years later.

Ker walked inside the cave while carrying a sword in his right hand. It was not an ordinary sword, an extremely dense black aura enveloped the sword.

With a sharp gaze, Ker stood right in front of the large stone door.

Ker opened the big stone door. His feet began to step inside.

Moments after Ker entered, a red magic energy greeted him. The energy widened so that it almost covered half the space.

Those elongated parts of energy formed an arm. Simultaneously, those magic arms pointed towards Ker very quickly.

Ker jumped to avoid those magic arms.

He observed every movement of the magic arms.

Not enough to get there, dozens of magic arms also attacked Ker simultaneously.

Ker closed his eyes while raising the black sword.

"Yeshaaak!"

Ker slashed all over those magic arms.

All those magic arms disappeared in one fell.

The hand that was shrouded in red magic energy came from behind Ker. The hand was pierced right behind Ker's neck.

A woman was behind Ker.

"You lost, Mas-"

Ker quickly moved behind the woman with a black sword pointing to the neck.

"B-shadow?!"

"It takes you another thousand years for you to defeat me, Hela." Little smiling ker.

Hela is now 27 years old. Hela has grown into a mature woman.

"Dwelling ... Master is amazing." Hela turned her face towards Ker.

The flick of his white hair was extremely bright due to the rays from the light magic within the cave.

"It looks like I should increase your training to 4 times,"

"No, Master! This exercise has been very hard on me I've been effective enough!"

Ker smiled again. Pulling Hela and hugging her.

"M-master ...?"

"Hela, are you sure you want to defeat the Devils?"

Hela's face changed. His eyes became very sharp.

"I'm sure,"

"Oh, yeah." Ker took off his embrace on Hela. "However, I still can't allow you out for now,"

"Why, Master?! Am I still weak?!"

There was doubt on Ker's face as he answered Hela's question.

"Your current strength can defeat the demonic army, however, the real threat is much more dangerous,"

"What do you mean, Master?"

Ker stroked Hela's head. "The real enemy .. is not of this world,"

Hela was confused by the words Ker.

"The reason I made you my disciple is because of this."
