Chapter 5: The Test For Two Subordinates

I believe that the glory of our village will soon return. Her Majesty Queen Keres Vasilissa, she is a Goddess for us. The first time I saw him, my whole body was instantly numb. With just his aura, I can't move. I was a little scared even talking to him.

To help Her Majesty the Queen search for the 12 World Guards, we went on an adventure and became A rank adventurers. And our destination this time was Sige Village, located in the eastern region of the Empire. We're hunting the Ogre who attacked the area. "Can you guys handle this Ogre?" ask His Majesty.

"We'll try our best." Hawk answered with confidence.

"I just want to see your fighting abilities. The equipment you're wearing can improve your physical and attacking abilities,"

It was amazing, even he gave us this equipment. Sure enough, I did feel a little strong while wearing this. Especially when I used the Shield Wall, I only used a little bit of Mana to do so. Even so, the Warrior from the Hero Party could destroy it.

We arrived at Sige Village.

"What happened to this village?" My eyes immediately glared at the condition of our destination village.

The village was destroyed. It seems like the Ogre has already attacked this village.

Hawk and I rushed into the forest, following in their footsteps.

We found a bunch of Ogres in front of a cave. By observing them from afar, they were likely 15.

With a single slash, an Ogre split into two. Hawk kept running towards the field to lure them.

"Erish, now!" shouts Hawk

"Fragile Soil!" I used earth magic to make a big hole.

The Ogres were trapped in the hole.

I ran and cast magic again. "Fire Storm!" I burned them in the hole using mid-level magic.

It's working. But, the Orcs we saw earlier did not come with them. I'm sure they're in the cave.

"Hawk, the Orcs seem to be inside that cave,"

"True, do we have to go back and report it to Alissa?"

"No, this is a task given to us. Use all your abilities,"

We entered the cave. The very threatening Eve began to feel. The deeper we went down the cave, the more stinging the smell inside the cave was. The bones of human-like creatures were scattered everywhere.

This signifies that there were other adventurers before us trying to complete this quest.

There was a sound coming from the inside of the cave, we approached the origin of the sound slowly.

As expected, this was indeed the nest of those Orcs.

We kept quiet and watched them.

It would be a little difficult against Orcs, as they had weapons and fighting skills like Warriors. They're C rank monsters.

"Eh." We were both shocked when we saw that figure suddenly coming into that Orc crowd.

I opened my eyes and saw the figure in front of me.
