The Queen of Death Return

The Queen of Death Return
Meet Again

Chapter 44: The Witch of Nature

The criminals have started the action, all according to the plan we had anticipated. If not for the information from the 3 Towers, maybe we would have died without preparation.

Erish and I cleared the rebels who were trying to attack the northern townspeople, I handed the rest to the other Disciple Council.

We kept running down every town, fighting non-stop.

"Theresia, we lack people to guide the population" Erish said.

He was right, we just told them to go down the path we had cleared. It does not rule out the possibility if there are remnants of rebels there.

I can't do much, only we can do this operation, the other students can't handle this.

"We have no other way, just this sa-"

Before I continued my words, several witches arrived at our place.

They're witches combined from the 3 Towers. It seems they have decided to intervene.

"Hey, are you two?"

"really. We want to continue the journey, can you guide the residents?"

"Give it to us. Just in case, we will send 2 people to accompany you,"

"Thank you."

Two witches from the Red Tower and the Blue Tower joined us.

We continue the intrusion. Some rebels have been sprawled, witch towers have expanded their reach.

Unknowingly, we had exited the city area, now in a slum in the corner of the city.

"Yahwaaaa! Help me!" The residents are running.

Attacks were more intense in slums, with rescuers prioritizing residents in urban areas. What a sad irony.

It's very irritating.

"Master, can you evacuate them? Me and my partner will fight the remaining rebels,"

"I'll leave it to you."

Erish and I are preparing to attack the rebels.

"Miss Guerra, let's do it!"

Erish nodded. He jumped into the rebel crowd. The fight is inevitable.

The swords of the rebels can't touch Erish. They ended up with one hit.

Justjust wonderful.

The black shadow was right below me.

*crack!

Erish throws the rebel sword right over my head.

Someone fell for the sword.

"Theresa, what are you thinking?!" shout Erish.

I was too focused on paying attention to him regardless of the circumstances around me.

"I'm sorry, Miss Guerra!"

I won't lose. I'll show you that I'm the daughter of a great witch!

"Stone Needle." I made hundreds of tiny needles made of earth.

*crack!

"Aghhh!" The earth needle pierced through the bodies of the rebels.

It's really sharp, people will think the land will be destroyed, but, it's a magic that is even very useful for killing secretly.

We have not missed a single rebel. If averaged out, their levels were only on par like those of class C to D adventurers.

The rebels began to disperse.

"Miss Guerra, please protect me!"

Erish nodded.

This is my chance to use natural magic.

"Nature's Magic: Nature's Scream!"

I used magic that could produce buzzing sounds. Those I have determined will feel pain in their eardrums.

"Agh! My ears! It hurts!"

Their movements stopped.

"Miss Guerra, now!"

Erish ran very fast, hitting them one after another. In just a few seconds, the entire rebel fell helplessly.

Looks like our combination is more synchronous than ever.

"Everything has been cleared." Erish spoke as she stepped over the bodies of the rebels.

"The two witches from the tower have also evacuated the residents around here."

Now we have to check out some parts of the corner of the city.

"Let'sooooooooooha!" There was a scream from a distance.

Not far away, what happened?

We both went straight to the source of the screams.

The voice led us back to the city.

Isn't this the road we've been on before? It was likely that the two witches were using this path to evacuate the residents.

"Damn it, we gotta get there!"

The streets were empty, making it easier for us to run, even though I was left behind by Erish.

Just in case, I activated a detection skill with a radius of 30 meters.

"What's this?"

Something moved quickly, it surrounded us.

Erish slowed her down so I could catch up with her.

He also realized it.

Something was getting closer to us, he was in the surrounding buildings.

The faster, the more undetected. Where is he?!

"Huh?"

Erish pulled me to her side. His right hand clenched as if preparing to hit.

"Yes!"

*bugh!

His punch hit someone who was behind me earlier. The man slammed into a hole behind him.

Really amazing reflexes.

"It's been a long time, yes, half a lizard," Erish said.

The man came out of the rubble. "Kukuku ... I expected, it would be difficult if you were by his side. My target is that Elf girl, and you .. you're the one I need to look out for."

Rayden. He was half the dragon we fought back then.

"It looks like you've been getting ready before you met us,"

"My nails .. You're right again." Rayden came out of the rubble completely.

"W-what's that?" I was so surprised to see her form.

In contrast to before, Rayden's current physical form was much larger than before. An extremely strong aura enveloped his body. There was a small line like a tattoo, the line was flaming reddish.

"Well, you change skin, huh?"

"Haha! That bastard! Those are your last words now!"

Rayden spread his hand.

"Theresia, get ready" whispered Erish.

"Mana Shield." I prepared a magic protector.

"Abyss of Death!" Rayden clapped his hand.

The sound of his clapping was very loud, even immediately buzzing in my ears.

*bush!

A black flame shot out from the end of his hand.

Very fast! I can't strengthen my protector!

Erish touched my hand just before the fire got here.

"Warp!" Erish chalked something.

The area around me suddenly changed. The wind that blows is very strong.

"Heh?! Aaaaaahh!" My body suddenly got out of control, like falling from a height.

I calm my mind.

The sky around me, the plains seem to be below.

"I'm moving up--it looks like Erish is moving me up."

*duaar!

There was a huge explosion from below. Black flames filled an area of the city that was most likely the site of our fight.

"Cally." I cast flying magic.

The blast was so large that it left a trench a few hundred meters from the center of the blast.

At the very least, it was magic or a high-level martial technique.

"What about Erish?!"

I just slide straight down.

Erish sacrificed herself, even though she was strong, I'm not sure she could withstand such an attack.

Something came out of the black smoke. It leads to me.

"D-he?!"

"I got you!"

Rayden quickly slid towards me. I flew away to avoid it.

He just leapt firmly up to here, it was very easy to avoid it as he just slid straight towards me. In other words, he had to jump again from the bottom.

Rayden is free-falling down. He turned his body towards me.

Something appeared on Rayden's feet. The shape is rectangular, translucent like glass.

A foothold?!

"You don't think I prepared it, huh?!"

I have to stay away!

*bush!

Rayden was sliding fast at me.

I avoided it, but ....

"Because of you." Moments after I avoided it, Rayden made a new foothold. Our distance is only 2 meters.

I tried to stay away, but it was all in vain. Rayden managed to catch me with his big hand.

"Damn it! Unhand me!"

"Look at this Elf girl, it can still be arrogant even though it is on the verge of death."

*crack!

Rayden strengthened his grasp.

"Aghhh!"

My bones seem to have been crushed.

"I'm gonna teach you a lesson so you can bow to me."

Rayden threw me down. I didn't get to use Fly.

*braak!

He threw me so powerfully, that he destroyed a building.

I can still maintain my consciousness.

Rayden stood in front of me. I lay weakly with fatal wounds all over my body.

"Relax, you'll heal with your master's blood. I just want to teach you a lesson."

Mister?

Rayden raised his right hand up.

"H-stop ...," I asked in a stammering tone.

"What did you say? Elves never beg, you know that, right?"

Please help me ... Mother.

"Nrouh ...." The sound of someone breathing. "Sorry, Theresa, I need some time to think about this. And now, it seems like I can't hold back much longer, that lizard really sucks."

A woman walked in from behind Rayden. I could see it because my head was on the rocks.

Brown-skinned woman, I can see the color of her eyes from a distance. Bright blue, like the color of the water on the beach that I once visited. It looks familiar.

"Who are you?" ask Rayden.

"You forgot me, lizard?"

"You .. is it possible, the little girl?"

No way, the woman ....

"Erish."
