Chapter 51: Becoming an Enemy or Being a Partner?
Slowly the severe wounds on King Drac's body began to recover, except for his spine which seemed to be incurable with ordinary regeneration. His broken legs and arms have returned to normal.
It is seen that King Drac only focused on improving his fighting abilities rather than physical immunity. Well, he's a vampire-fighter, very minimal in using magic.
King Drac looked strange with such a hunched posture. The backbone behind him was similar to a wooden pole used to hang scarecrows.
But, it seems like he is not bothered with that. More precisely he numbed the pain in his body, so as to not feel anything when receiving an attack from a copy of the Saint's body.
Fighting continued.
The female Saint attacked first with her staff. He stabbed towards King Drac. However, King Drac was able to avoid his attacks even in unfavorable circumstances.
The hero moves quickly behind King Drac, he gets ready to slash King Drac's neck.
King Drac looked down. The slash from the Sacred Sword cut off half of his spine.
The vision of King Drac was limited, he could not look back. His movements were based on the instincts he had, or the detection skill.
After some time, a copy of Saint's body leapt upwards and made a piercing motion toward King Drac.
King Drac kicked the Hero who was behind him and directly jumped to the side.
*Shelf!
The Divine Sword stuck in the ground, followed by a crack in the stabbing spot, and the blast of the magic wave that threw the late King Drac away.
King Drac crashed, but the pool of blood that formed the tentacles restrained his body. King Drac ran with his stooped body towards the three enemies in front of him. Hundreds of tentacles, hardened blood thorns, as well as small waves came along with him.
The blood thorns headed towards the body copy, the tentacles heading towards the Hero. The Drac King who rode the blood waves headed towards the female Saint.
The female Saint leapt away from King Drac. He used his wand to give more encouragement. But the waves of King Drac were much faster, it made the distance between them even narrower.
"You are a threat! I'll kill you first!" shouted King Drac.
Both of his colleagues were busy dealing with blood attacks. Saint women look difficult when using a stick.
It was his own fault for handing the Holy Sword over to his clone.
I was just second-guessing, it seems like Saint has a double job or so. According to Zain's story, Saint was also a Summoner, but he rarely used it. It seemed like it was just his assumption, he could have used another Summoner's beast.
King Drac managed to shorten their distance. Riding on the waves of blood, he freely swung his claws towards the Saint. Yet the Saint continued to jump backwards to widen the distance.
Well, it's totally useless.
"Holy Barrier!" The Saint cast a magic spell that gave rise to a thick wall of light in front of him.
The blood wave instantly evaporated when it touched the light protector.
Protector similar to the one used by the Archbishop to protect the city. Hmmm .. no, this seems to be underneath it. It is visible from the color difference as well as the solidity of the protector. Belonging to the Archbishop looks like a wall, I mean it really looks like a wall! While belonging to Saint looks like a thick glass wall.
Back to the fight!
King Drac hurriedly jumped through that 8-meter-high wall of light. He used the push from the blood currents in his legs. He headed straight to where the Saint was.
At the same time the Saint smiled. King Drac was confused by what he saw.
A few meters before King Drac landed, a wisp of light energy suddenly lit up brightly near King Drac.
"Close you, goddamn vampire!"
The body of King Drac was burned due to the bright light that was nearby.
Light magic is sacred magic, the weakness of the undead, especially vampires. Sunlight alone was not enough to kill a vampire, not even the lowest class. Because the sacred element in sunlight is minimal, unless you throw the undead directly into the sun. The presence of sacred elements was very influential to kill the vampires, not True Vampires, they had to use tier 13 divine magic and above.
King Drac was completely unable to move as it was restrained by the holy magic that burned it. Therefore also he did not fall, but rather floated.
I don't know when Saint set up another magic, but the plan was indeed a success this time around.
The lowest version of Marriage Call. Can only call familiar who has already established a contract.
The remaining vampires at the top descended towards the place of King Drac.
The Saint did not just shut up when he saw that. He canceled a copy of the body that was dispelling the blood thorn attack. The Divine Sword instantly flew towards him with blood thorns following from behind.
The vampires tried to pull King Drac's body from the sacred magic deck, but some of them instantly died while trying to pull King Drac's hand. Their efforts were not free, King Drac was slowly attracted, his body almost completely charred. His spine looks black like a roast bone.
The Divine Sword had arrived at the Saint's hand, he dropped his staff and directly jumped towards the Drac King to slash at him.
"Death to you!" The Saint prepared to swing the Divine Sword with both hands.
Dozens of blood thorns pierced his armor he was wearing. Blood poured from the hole of the blood thorn, very many holes, the condition was very sad.
The Saint swung the Divine Sword towards the neck of King Drac.
On the other hand, the Hero had difficulty facing the more and more blood tentacles, his legs and hands twisted. He could not escape because he was running out of energy.
*Out!
An explosion occurred at the crucial battle site. The Saint and Hero were blown away by the explosion. It wasn't an explosion like a bomb or anything. It was an air magic that exploded pushing the two people, inflicting no significant damage.
It wasn't magic from King Drac, who did it?
Hela changed the screen to a place not far from the location. A woman floated in the air, she was facing right into the place of the fight.
That woman, right ...?
King Drac's body is suddenly dragged into a nearby portal, likely coming from the woman.
He's the True Vampire that chased me before.
It happened so quickly, the woman disappeared after bringing King Drac back.
Broadcast over.
"He's a True Vampire chasing you, isn't he?" ask Hela.
"These are the same. That's it."
But why did he just come? If you think about it logically, he should be with King Drac. It's not a coincidence, my premonition seemed to have some meaning.
Huh uh?
I felt an enormous aura from outside the palace. Not a killing aura, this aura was deliberately released to show dominance to people.
"From there, he came straight here." Hela seemed to have also sensed the same aura.
That Hela's words, was it possible that the True Vampire had come here earlier?
Rayna stood in front of me.
"Calm down, he doesn't seem to mean to fight us" Hela said.
I'm calming Rayna down.
"We should welcome him." Hela stood up from her seat, then prepared a portal that connected to the palace courtyard.
The three of us entered the portal.
It's definitely not far from a negotiation, I've experienced this.
Connect ....
DON'T FORGET LIKE, YEAH!
