The Queen of Death Return

The Queen of Death Return
Invasion of Vampires

Almost 10 minutes of Rayna crying in my arms, now her condition has begun to improve. I kept patting him on the shoulder to keep him calm.

But, why ...?

"Hiks. Mommy ...."

Why is Delila crying too?!

I looked like a parent who was calming his child crying in a public place.

"Rayna, tell me everything you saw in Nagad Kingdom."

Rayna took off my arms while wiping away her tears.

"Ak-I watched over the Kingdom of Nagad for 10 days."

It doesn't matter to me if they talk to me casually. I was a little distracted when they chose to speak formally, technically I'm their mother, and they should have been talking casually to Mom herself, right?

"Mother, it looks like we're late" Rayna continued with a face full of regret.

"What do you mean?"

"It should have been 2 years ago I realized this, but it's too late."

For the past 2 years, Rayna has been busy training her vampire army when she conquered Cura.

"The whole population has turned into vampires. But they live like humans. It's just that, in a certain time there are hundreds of vampires who are left free to come out of the Nagad Kingdom. I have left Body Blood to monitor the situation there."

Body Blood, a skill that could make copies of a body made from blood. It can be used to fight, but it cannot use magic.

It was my fault. Because for 2 years the Nagad Kingdom did not make any movements, I so ignored them and was busy with the magic wand business.

"What do you think they're planning right now?" my many.

"After seeing the hundreds of vampires who were left free to come out, it was likely that the Vampire King was planning to make an invasion without dirtying his hands. Increase the number of troops by invading a small kingdom, then its inhabitants are turned into vampires,"

"Creating thousands of new familiars, no, hundreds of thousands. It was the equivalent of using level 15 magic hundreds of times,"

"Mother's right. However, this concerns Satan. They must have some weird method."

Strange method, huh? It does sound reasonable if they use a fragment of Satan's body to do such a crazy thing.

"Rayna, did you find any sign of True Vampire in that place?"

"Nothing, Mother."

According to the story of the Cura, they lived in the underworld. But, this is still unclear. Whether they lived underground, or it was merely a diversion just so that their original hiding was unknown.

Signs of vampire attacks have not been heard from the west or east. Do they want to take control of the south first?

"Mother, allow me to go back there. If it's just watching through Body Blood, it's still lacking, Mother, "pinta Rayna.

"No." I insisted.

I should have been firm.

Rayna is not an Assassin. A stroke of luck for him could go undetected for 10 days. It's possible that they've figured it out and chosen to be quiet while watching Rayna from somewhere else. It's a good job for Selene, but I don't want to let one of my kids go out alone.

Did I ask Hela for help? Our kingdom already has diplomatic relations, right? The odds of him refusing are 50:50.

"Let's go see Hela."

Better to go see him right now.

We hurried off to the palace to meet Hela, but ....

"The queen is not in the palace." One of Hela's bouncers told us.

"Where is he going?" my many.

When I needed her, Hela was never there. Does he know I'm looking for him?! Even I couldn't reach her via telepathy, something like blocking my connection with her.

"He went to the tomb on the border of the kingdom. Precisely in the Great Magical Forest,"

"The tomb?"

I think I know.

"I suggest you don't go there when he's still there."

We went straight to the Great Magical Forest which was at the border of the Mystick Kingdom.

--------------------------

It's a long way from town. This kingdom had quite a large area, because in the north there were very few settlements, Hela could have taken these vacant lands if she wanted to.

We were flying at maximum speed, but still it was very slow. We are not the type of magicians who rely on speed in the air. If using Irene's familiar, it's certain we'll arrive in a few minutes.

"Mother, it seems we've arrived." Rayna pointed towards the forest in front of us.

We landed on a small hill.

There was a forest shrouded in magic energy right in front of us. The magic energy looked hostile, like it was made to protect the forest.

Hela was in the woods. If we enter, there is a possibility that the magic energy enveloping the forest will attack us, whether in what way it attacks.

"We're tunggi here."

Better not to bother Hela.

 ----------------------------

It had been 2 hours for the three of us to wait for Hela, yet she did not appear at all.

Was it all this time?

"Mother! I'm going to burn this forest!" Rayna prepared with fire magic in her hands.

*Plak!

Delila hit Rayna in the head from behind.

"Basic stupid! Do you want to ruin a plan I've been working on for years?"

"Pardon me."

Well, it sucks waiting a long time, but, I understand why Hela is so long. It's about the two most important people in her life. Naura and Legarde.

"What are you guys doing here?" There was a woman's voice right behind us.

The three of us looked back at the same time.

The person behind us is Hela.

Since when?! Even Rayna and Delila were unaware of it.

"I'm asking you guys." Hela's face was slightly irritated.

Ah, crap! I can't break this momentum.

"Greetings, Your Grace. I'd like to convey something to you. The guards said you were here, and we rushed over and waited for you,"

"Is this about the magic wand again?"

"No, Your Grace. It's more important than that,"

"I didn't know there was anything more important than money."

She insinuates.

Hela looked towards Rayna with a sharp look.

"Is this one of those vampires back then?"

"No, Your Grace. She's Rayna, my son."

Hela was instantly silent with a blank expression on her face.

Why her?

I've ordered Rayna not to talk much when she meets Hela. It would be troublesome if Hela was annoyed by his words.

"Freak man, elf, and now a vampire. What the fuck?" hela muttered.

Hela's face looked very upset.

Did I make a mistake? Damnit damnit! I should have heard the guards' ban earlier.

"Your Majesty, do you remember that vampire plot?"

"Yes. I already knew that."

"I'm sorry?"

"They started to invade some territory in the south, right?"

"How do you know that?"

"You think I've been quiet since you told me that information? I immediately sent Ghad to watch over the Kingdom of Nagad right then and there."

He's moving faster than me. No, he's a lot faster than me. If it's like that, he should already have some plans, right?

"Your Majesty, do you intend to invade the Kingdom of Nagad?"

"I thought like that. But I changed my mind,"

"What do you mean?"

"Why don't we take them to the Holy Church?"

I was silent for a moment after hearing his suggestion.

That's a very good idea, but ....

"How do we lure them, Your Majesty?"

"Let's move to my room. It's not very comfortable talking here." Hela glanced towards the forest.
