The Queen of Death Return

The Queen of Death Return
Tourist

Chandra was on a hill in the territory of the Maphas Witch Kingdom. The kingdom was located in the eastern region adjacent to the Empire and the small kingdoms around it.

His gaze was fixed on a place not far from the hill. A forest stretched out wide, however, there was something different from that forest.

"So this is Green Forest, huh?" Chandra narrowed her eyes to look at the forest closely.

He focused on the middle part of the forest that had been cleared out. There were many strange buildings that were very tall in that place, signifying that it was the capital of the Maphas Mage Kingdom.

"Indeed, the kingdom lies within the Green Forest."

Chandra jumped off the hill, he was really curious about the strange tall building in that place. He walked quickly following the existing path, until he reached the outskirts of the Green Forest.

In front of him right now was a wooden gate. The wooden gate was open, and guarded by the Dragonewt guards. Before stepping his feet to the gate, Chandra's attention was on the edge of the forest.

This is unbelievable.

That was how he thought when he saw a magic wall covering the edge of the forest.

Normally, a city would be surrounded by a stone wall. However, this place was precisely surrounded by a magic barrier as tall as a giant tree.

This forest was so vast, how did they use this protective magic? Where are they unlimited?

Chandra was very curious about the secret of the magic wall.

"Hey, do you want to come in or just stand there?" One of the Dragonewt reprimands Chandra.

"Ah, sorry, I'm fascinated by the beauty of this place,"

"Hoho, looks like it's your first time here. I hope you're not surprised to get inside."

"really?"

Chandra showed the adventurer sign to the guard.

The first impression he felt, the gatekeeper was very friendly.

But, this gate is very quiet. Do they have another entrance? When viewed from the atmosphere, I think it's true.

"Please enter. Enjoy your vacation." The guards had recorded the data inside Chandra's adventurer guild card.

A vacation?

Chandra went into the forest with a question in his head.

Chandra had just entered the forest, and now something surprised her.

From the outside, the inside of the forest looked dark. However, when it had entered, the interior of the forest looked beautiful. The sound of insects resounded in every place, sunlight sneaking in through the sidelines of the leaves. And the other thing that surprised Chandra was the road he was going through.

The road looks smooth. It looks not made of stone, but something black.

"It's really amazing."

Chandra continued his journey through the peaceful atmosphere of the forest. His nose did not stop breathing the cold air along the way.

*Twing Twing

Something jumped out of the bushes.

Chandra stopped immediately.

A small hairy creature jumped in front of him. The creature was the size of a handball, full of light blue feathers, had long ears like a rabbit, as well as tiny hands and fairly long soles of feet.

"Master! The master! Do you need a guide?" ask the creature in a voice like a child.

"Driver?" Chandra was not wary of him because the little creature had no ill intentions.

"Really! Aye! I'm the Gobi, the guide for the guests!"

"Do all the visitors have a guide?"

"Fright!"

"How should I pay you?"

"Master don't have to pay! Because we've been paid by the ladies!"

The ladies?

Chandra gets a little interesting information.

"Alright, please guide me, Gobi."

"Come, Master!"

The two of them walked straight towards the capital Maphas.

Light slowly came out from in front of them. The air is getting louder. Chandra finally came out of the forest.

He was presented with a view of a city he had never seen. The buildings in the city were very foreign to him, especially some tall buildings shaped like beams.

"Welcome to Maphas Witch Kingdom, Master!" greet Gobi.

The city is right below it. The road leading to the city tends to decline, descending through many stairs. Iron fence as a ladder handrail and other iron fences as a boundary surrounding the suburbs.

They're going downstairs.

There is something that makes Chandra curious, which is what basic materials they use to make the road this smooth.

I'm sure I feel something like coal, but it looks more complex if it's just coal.

"Gobi, what is this black street made of?"

"Huh, I don't know, sir! However, Mr. Architect called it asphalt!"

"Asphalic?"

"Sir Architect and his assistant made a lot of amazing things over the past 3 years, you'll see it when we get to the bottom!"

"Hmmm, so so."

They've reached the city.

Now Chandra sees the atmosphere of the city up close.

Many people walked on the side of the road, the paved road only traversed by horse carriages. Among those who pass by, not all are human. They come from different races.

Chandra is reminded of the Caribbean Kingdom which also has residents of various races.

"Sir, I'll take you to a good place!" Goby jumps in front of Chandra's face.

"Good."

They continue their journey. Walk on the shoulder of the road. There are many buildings lined up along the road. Almost the same as the other kingdoms, many shops on the roadside, however, the shop in this place was different from the others.

Chandra thought for a moment.

The entire building has 4 floors, with models there, but has a different color design. I'm not sure something like this is only done in 3 years. Ah, it's possible. According to the information, the leader of this kingdom was an undead. I'm 100% sure he's a lich, using his call undead energy as free labor.

Chandra nodded.

They cross paths with the people, Chandra greets them with a lowered head and smiles. It is familiar to people from the south.

"Master! The master! In here!" Goby's on the side of the road.

The black street in front of them had a white paint line.

"Hmmm ...?" Chandra looked towards the colorful lights on the pole.

"That's a traffic light! If it is red, the horse-drawn carriage will stop, and pedestrians can cross over the white line! If it's green, the horse-drawn carriage, but people stop!"

"But, what is the function of this orange color?"

"That's a sign for both sides preparing to advance!"

It's very interesting. With only lights, they can be organized. Huh ... wait a minute.

Chandra looked closely at the traffic light.

Which Stone? Isn't that stone very rare?

It was natural for him to be astonished, because the Mana stone was a precious object. A stone that could store Mana in a long time. Merely, it took several mages to be able to fill full of Mana stones. Seeing the many Mana stones in the lamp made Chandra think ....

How many witches are they?

"Let's go, sir!"

They continued their journey as usual.

Goby stopped in front of a restaurant.

"Master! I advise you to eat at this restaurant!"

The restaurant had wide glass, so Chandra could clearly see what was inside. People are eating their food. The food looks foreign to Chandra.

Chandra smiled slightly.

Food here, huh?

Chandra strongly believes that the southern region has the most delicious food, he does not really enjoy food in other regions.

"Well, I'd like to try a little."
