‘Where is Ethelyne? After last week's incident, he never showed up or spoke again. Did something happen to her? Lyne was silent for a moment before opening her mouth and saying something, however. No sound came out of his mouth at all.

Lyne raised one hand and flicked it, making Erik step towards her with a puzzled expression.

“What's really going on? Why are you talking on cue?”

Lyne stood up from her seat, she approached and whispered softly. “Erik, you. Fuck.”

Erik backed away with a look of disbelief. “Lyne, you..”.

Lyne was silent with a cold look in her eyes.

“Why can you say such cruel words??” asked Erik who still could not believe what he had heard just now. “No, no. I must have misheard you!” He patted his own face.

“You, didn't hear wrong, Erik. You it, really disgusting.” Lyne looked at Erik with a cold and disgusted look. ‘I didn't think you'd be part of this cruel plan either.’

“Lyne, what do you mean?? Why did you call me with those words? Did I make a mistake with you? Explain where my mistake was?” Erik walked over, but Lyne stepped back.

“You're still pretending? You are really despicable yes, you are doing what you think is right without knowing what the consequences of your actions are.”

“Lyne... why can you..”.

“Hei, Eric. I want to know how you feel when you see your sister losing her life in the most despicable way. What are you, can you tell me?” lyne asked with a grin, she smiled sweetly. “I hope, you want-”

Lyne did not continue her words as Erik suddenly walked quickly towards her and strangled her neck firmly.

“Heh.” Lyne smiled mockingly. “Didn't it hurt to see our loved ones die?” asked without resisting, Lyne did not feel any pain even though her neck was firmly gripped.

“What do you mean? You want to piss me off by bringing up my past? It's free, Lyne. I-”

“Do you not understand?!” Lyne suddenly raised her voice, she looked at Erik full of anger. “The pain you felt when you saw your sister die, do you think the family of the soul that was brought by force did not feel it?!! Why are you being this cruel? Why are you different from my old Erik? Where is Erik who is always loving and does not like to make others cry?? Why did you turn this drastic??”

“You asked a question whose answer you already know.”

“What?” Lyne looked at Erik confusedly, she did not understand the words of the man in front of her.

“Why are you acting like Lyne? Why do you have to pretend like we've known you for so long and you know me so well? Remember, you are only a foreign soul brought here because of your power. Right after the door closed, Lyne immediately sat on the bed. Her legs felt weak, Lyne rubbed her face rough. ‘Sial! Why does all this have to happen? Why doesn't anyone understand me??’
