Laurie wiped her tears, she stared intently at the two foreign men in front of her. “You guys it's really disgusting ya.”

The cynical tone that Laurie let out made Ned surprised, she rubbed her chest trying to be patient. “Why can such a small girl say such harsh words?” mumbles slowly.

“To be clear, what do you mean?”

Laurie took a deep breath, she stares at Eadric with a cold gaze and is replied no less coldly by Eadric.

Ned who was standing next to Eadric hugged his own body. ‘Suddenly I feel his back cold.’

“Do you not know, Rimuru's healing power is unstable. When he first tried, he even almost died if he was not saved by the Madam. That was when she was 3 years old.”

“Woah, only three years old but already learning magic. Doesn't that mean genius,” muttered Ned was amazed.

“And today is the second time Rimuru used that magic.” Laurie walks towards Ethelyne, but her steps are stopped due to Eadric suddenly blocking her.

“Don't get too close to him,” Eadric said in a cold tone.

Laurie was amazed, she did not know whether to flatter the man in front of her or curse him. Laurie tilted her head with a stern look, no more cute and cute looks on her face. But there is only a flat face and full of gloom as well as intimidating. “Do you know, every Rimuru uses this magic. He will lose 50 years of his life.”

“What?” asked the two men in surprise.

Laurie smiled cynically. “Why are you surprised? Isn't that your plan? You guys want to kill him right, that's why you guys do this.” He took a breath and blinked a few times so that his tears would no longer spill. “You think, if Rimuru continues to use her unstable healing magic. What's gonna happen? He was about to die exploding because unstable healing magic affected all of his energy, huh. I didn't expect, humans can be this cruel. I wonder, why would he want to come here and live in this world? Even if I don't like it, in the world-”

“Enough, Laurie. You talk too much.”

Eadric, Ned, and Laurie turned to the origin of the voice. Laurie's tears spilled again, she removed the shield and ran towards Ethelyne who was sitting in a pool of blood.

Without caring for Laurie who was holding her tightly, Ethelyne turned her gaze to Ned and Eadric. Both of them seemed silent in shock and shock, their minds filled with question marks.

“Ehh, I'm not dead silly. I'm a hero for dying to help people,” Ethelyne said, shaking her waist with a proud face.

Laurie massaged her temple. “Ascension You only.”

“Exchange souls?” Ethelyne and Laurie stared at each other with confused faces. “What does it mean?” ask both at the same time.

“Again, why do we even talk like this anyway!” Ethelyne turned her gaze to Laurie. “Do now.”

“What else is it?” ask Ethelyne growled.

Eadric squinted his eyes and looked at Ethelyne full of probes. “Who are you really? Why can you use so many kinds of healing magic? Are you really a witch?”

“I told you, I'm not a witch or anything. I'm just a human being, ok!” Ethelyne glanced at Laurie who looked puzzled. “What's up?”

Laurie turned to Ethelyne. “Master, somehow. My magic doesn't work on them.”

“Hah, troublesome once.” Ethelyne raised a side of her hand, suddenly a dark flame appeared in her hand. “Then let's just finish them off, the one who knows my secret must die.”

“T-wait a minute, stay calm.”

“Heh, dark fire huh? Interesting, are you from the demon race. If true, you're a different demon. Demons usually can't stand sunlight, but it seems like you're mediocre in the sun. And again, are you the seductive demon that the Crown Prince sent from the demon kingdom?”

Laurie who heard Eadric's words almost dropped her jaw, glanced at Ethelyne who seemed to be holding back anger. “Ma-ma-ma-master! Please calm down, remember. D-here still Aelene!”

“K-we will go!” Ned and Eadric just disappeared without a trace.

Ethelyne let out a long sigh, she crouched down in front of Aelene and rubbed her face gently. ‘Thank God, thank goodness I was able to save him. But magic is really risky, if not for Aelene matching magic. It's possible that he who's about to die exploded due to the instability of magic, huh. I shouldn't be this careless.’

“Master, forgive me.”

“For what's sorry, you're not wrong anything.” Ethelyne holds Aelene and leaves the castaway palace now filled with pools of blood.

“Master, how about these corpses?” laurie asked as she pointed at the 6 corpses of the soldiers.

Ethelyne stopped in front of the door, she glanced back. Suddenly, from his shadow appeared three medium-sized demon wolves.

“That's all food for you, don't whine anymore like a child. Remember to come back or you will die from sunburn.” Ethelyne walked back, followed by Laurie from behind.

“Master, don't you want to kill humans? Then why did you attack them earlier?”

“Once, I'd like to know myself. Why am I so protective of her while she herself is nothing to me, I fear I will lose her like I lost my mother, father, and Meli.”
