Time to Recover (Fourteen)
The atmosphere in the palace courtyard was so bustling and boisterous. The dancers today are training to prepare for their king's wedding celebration. Calistha and Max seemed to be crossing the edge of the vast courtyard by slacking off so that no one could block their journey. Actually Clistha was quite upset with the appearance of Spencer which made him have to stop his steps for a moment and answer some of the man's questions. Truly, he is now racing against time. If what he experienced in dreamland would come true, then he would have to immediately remove Max, Gazelle, and Tiffany from this kingdom before midnight, he said, because Aiden will execute them at midnight.
"Max, where is Gazelle?" calistha asked slowly to Max who was right behind her body. Max then pointed towards the bunch of vines that flourished in the palace courtyard. Seeing it at a glance, Calistha instantly knew that the place was a very perfect place to hide.
"Come, we don't have much time."
The two of them continued to walk quietly along the path that connects the palace courtyard with the palace garden. From afar, Aiden was observing the movements of the two humans in silence. He and the palace ministers are today discussing the issue of new infrastructure development in the kingdom of Hora. But it felt like he was already very tired of listening to all the same explanations over and over again from those ministers. And now he felt that he was getting a new prey because he had just seen Calistha who was walking towards the palace garden. He must immediately inhabit the woman and make her riled up so that her boring life is a little more colorful with the screams and mockery of the woman.
"You can go now. I have other business with my queen." said Aiden flatly, expelling ministers who were explaining the infrastructure development plan in the kingdom of Hora.
"Your Majesty the queen-to-be? Are we allowed to introduce ourselves to the Starting Candidate?" ask the minister of economics politely. Aiden seemed to be pondering next to him, then firmly the man shook his head while folding both hands arrogantly in front of the chest.
"no need. I'll introduce you to you officially at my wedding. You better go and prepare all the necessary things for tomorrow morning because I want everything to look perfect."
"Okay, Your Majesty, we'll get everything ready soon."
Without waiting any longer, Aiden immediately walked away leaving his ministers bowing respectfully behind him. As he continued walking, Aiden began to look for the whereabouts of Calistha who had disappeared from his sight, even though a few minutes ago the woman was still around the path and looked confused.
"Where is she? He should still be around here."
Suddenly a sneaky smile appeared on Aiden's face as he looked at Calistha and the soldier was having a serious conversation behind the thickets of bushes embedded in his royal courtyard. With quiet and slow steps, Aiden began to walk to approach Calistha. And he was sure, the woman would definitely be very surprised by his appearance here.
"Hmm, what are you planning my queen to do?" aiden muttered softly to himself.

"Where's Gazelle? Are you sure he's waiting here?"
"I'm sure. Should Gazelle be waiting here if he doesn't find you? Could he be in trouble right now?"
"I don't know Max, I didn't see Gazelle in my dreams for as long as he was here. I only saw him when king Aiden executed him."
"Then we must immediately search for him, because Gazelle actually has a grudge against the king and some people in this kingdom. I'm afraid he'll do something reckless in this kingdom and put his own life at risk."
Calistha nodded in agreement to Max and immediately turned her body to look for Gazelle. However, suddenly his movements immediately stopped because he saw Aiden standing arrogantly before him.
"What are you doing here?" ask Calistha stammering. Aiden gave a mocking smile to the woman while walking closer towards Calistha. Reflexes he immediately walked backwards until he hit Max's body behind him.
"What am I doing here? Does that matter, considering this is my own palace. I see you're talking seriously to that soldier. Is there a problem?" aiden asked calmly, but behind his calm voice was tucked into such an intimidating tone, making Calistha a little frightened as she stood before the man.
"Of course not, am I just talking to him? Emm, do you want to see a dance show with me? I want to see a dance performance right now" Calistha said quickly as she pulled Aiden's hand away from Max. Before leaving, Calistha briefly turned her head to Max while whispering
for the man to immediately search for Gazelle and meet her in the palace courtyard in an hour.
"Why is that soldier here? Should he be at the gates of the palace?" aiden asked suddenly to wake Calistha from her daydream about her dream. The woman looked up at Aiden without realizing that her left hand was still coiled in Aiden's burly arm.
"What's? Oh, I happened to meet him in the yard. He was controlling me, nothing more. As for Tiffany, do you really not allow me to see her?"
Calistha seemed to plead in front of Aiden for him to be allowed to see Tiffany. But, it looks like a face
that would not affect Aiden's decision to ban Calistha from visiting Tiffany. There was no point in the woman visiting Tiffany anyway, because Aiden would never let go of Tiffany. That woman is a dangerous woman. He was just hiding behind his helpless weak body, waiting for the right moment to turn into an evil monster that would prey on Calistha. Therefore he would not allow Calistha to see Tiffany again, and he himself had given a very tight guard around the entrance of the dungeon so that no one could enter there and take Tiffany away.
"I will never withdraw my words. So stop being so pitiful in front of me." said Aiden coldly and flat expressionlessly. Calistha looked annoyed and went back to frowning next to Aiden. It was in vain that he lowered his pride today in front of Aiden if in the end he was only humbled by
that guy's. If today he managed to get out of this kingdom safely with Gazelle, Max, and Tiffany, he would definitely avenge all the deeds that man had done to him.
"Why silence? Are you cursing me inside that pretty head of yours?" asked Aiden coldly, but impressed with teasing. Calistha screeched cynically at the man and immediately lowered her left hand which had since continued to put the burly arm possessively. He is sure, after this Aiden will get bigger head because he just embraced the man's arm.
"No. Why do I curse you in my head, if I want to, I can do it
directly in front of you? And one more thing, don't get too big of a head because I just grabbed your arm. I was just getting carried away, so I forgot to let go." Calistha said cynically and visibly annoyed. Aiden chuckled amusedly at Calistha's behavior which he thought was adorable today. I don't know why since this morning Calistha continues to be silly and not too explosive as usual. When she refused the woman's wish, Calistha would only respond with a grunt without blurting out the usual harsh words. But, he was not immediately swept away by the attitude of the woman just like that. Calistha was planning something inside her pretty head.
"I'm not big on my head at all. Even I've often gotten a soft caress from
the women are all over me, so if it's just a light embrace on my arm, it's not something to be proud of." Aiden joked. The man managed to silence Calistha's thin lips that were already preparing to reply to her with his various painful words. However, hearing Aiden's words regarding women, Calistha became arrogant and preferred not to respond to the man's words. It was not important to him at all. Although part of his heart was quite troubled by it.
"Have you ever had a lover before?"
Somehow, Aiden suddenly asked Calistha about it, making the woman slightly astonished as she furrowed her eyebrows in an incomprehension.
"Why did you suddenly ask that? Are you planning on taking out all my ex-lovers so they don't take me away from you?"
Calistha spoke cynically to Aiden while folding both of her hands in front of her chest. The woman then
"If it's necessary, then I'll do it. Because in the future anything can happen. So, before it happens it is better if we immediately anticipate that the bullies do not damage the natural order. But, unfortunately there are not many people who are in line with my thoughts, including you."
"Because you have such complicated thoughts and it's so hard to guess. And you also don't need to know if I ever had a lover or not, because that doesn't matter at all." Calistha then
silent for a moment, trying to think about every detail of the incident that happened
in his dream. He then remembered that in his dream, this incident did not exist at all. He was supposed to meet with Aiden and the ministers in the palace courtyard, and Aiden would ask him to accompany the man to lunch together, but he refused, and in the end they ended
with a very painful fight. Well, it was quite painful for him because Aiden insulted his family in his dreams. But this afternoon, everything changed a little. Aiden did not ask him to accompany lunch, and the man also came alone to meet him. Is the dream not real and just a coincidence? The question continued to linger in Calistha's head until Aiden's cold voice echoed through the air, awakening her from her daydream of her dreadful dream.
"I am the king, it is their duty to understand me. So I don't have to give a clear explanation of my way of thinking. After all, no matter how clearly I tell them everything, they will definitely not understand. Calistha seemed so interested in the conversation this time. I think Aiden is trying
to be open to her, though her stiff and arrogant attitude still continued to follow the man and made him slightly annoyed at her. But, it was all better than treating that man to her a few days ago.
"You'll know later. Will you accompany me to lunch?"

Unknowingly Calistha immediately touched her heart with misgivings. In his dream he did
fight the man with harsh words and make him hurt. He then had the idea to turn it all around. If his harsh and harsh words brought a quarrel between them, then this time he would be a little gentle with the man. He will agree to the man's request, but before he goes to the dining room, he will ask Aiden for permission to return to the palace garden, as he must meet Max and Gazelle there.

"Of course I don't mind. I will wait for you at the dinner table." replied Aiden flat as usual and immediately walked away leaving Calistha who was still sitting in his place, waiting until Aiden was really pegi from before him.
After Aiden was no longer visible from his sight, Calistha immediately walked quickly towards the park
the palace is on the left side of the palace courtyard. From a distance she can see Max talking seriously with a woman whose face is slightly covered by the red hood she wears, but Calistha immediately recognizes the woman as Gazelle, because that man couldn't possibly talk to another woman
in this palace other than with him or Gazelle.
"Thank God, I can finally meet you here. Gazelle, nice to see you again." said Calistha excitedly as she hugged Gazelle warmly. The red-hooded woman immediately returned Calistha's embrace with an antipathy while patting Calistha's back hard, as she was too happy.
"Oh my God, I can finally meet you. I looked for you in the palace, but then Max came to me and told me you were waiting for me in the palace garden. How are you doing? Are you all right?"
"I'm fine, though a little depressed and frustrated, but everything's fine. Actually I would like to ask you to release Tiffany, my brother who has been living in the Diamond Kingdom, but king Aiden has placed many soldiers around the dungeon
to take care of Tiffany, so we can't possibly save Tiffany now. Do you have any plans to get out of the palace?" ask Calistha seirus. Max puts his shoulder to Gazelle so Calistha asks Gazelle because she has absolutely no plan in her head.
"We will save your sister before we leave this kingdom. I know how we got into that prison, because I did it a few years ago" Gazelle said. The woman then began to explain all the hidden paths that this palace had, including the hidden path to enter into the dungeon. According to Gazelle, within the royal palace of Chronos were two secret passages that would lead them to a dungeon. The first way is through water pipes that are interconnected with each other. Unfortunately, this time the channel must have been unusable because the royal soldiers had stockpiled water pipes associated with the dungeon because a few years ago, there was a prisoner who tried to escape through the aqueduct. So, the only way they had to reach the dungeon was through the sewer. The channel is an old channel that used to be used to dispose of the bodies of prisoners who died in dungeons. But, after Aiden had the savage pets, the channel was not used anymore because the man would directly throw the bodies into the cage of his beloved tiger.
"We're going in through the sewer." Gazelle broke up steady. Calistha and Max immediately nodded in agreement to Gazelle while asking her the next step that the woman would take.
"What will you
do it after this? Because I have to meet King Aiden in the dining room to accompany him to lunch. Will you move by yourself or wait
until our lunch is over?"
"No, you better distract Ai. I mean king Aiden so he doesn't suspect us, because the drainpipe is connected to the landfill behind the palace kitchen. So Max and I had to go through the dining room, so we could get to the dungeon and save Tiffany. Can you distract him while we walk through the dining room?"
"Of course, I'll distract him as you walk into the kitchen. Then I'll go now. You guys please be careful."
After Calistha left, Gazelle immediately elbowed Max's ignorant arm while smiling seductively
to that guy. He knows that Max is currently worried about Calistha's condition, but unfortunately he can't do anything to prevent Calistha from getting inside, as they have their respective parts in this plan.
"What's wrong? You want to tease me?"
"No, I'm just concerned about you." replied the original Gazelle while laughing out loud in front of Max. Unbeknownst to them, Spencer had been watching them from behind a large tree to their right. The man then walked away while determined in his heart, if he would definitely catch them all after this and give it directly to Aiden.
"You're wrong for trying to play around with me Gazelle."
