The Second Ring
Chapter Fourteen

Kenzo and Adelle come to the party. As a couple, of course Adelle behaves like a couple. He hugged Kenzo's arm without hesitation and chanted a smile as someone greeted him.

"Are you okay?" whisper Kenzo.

Adelle nodded her head, "Yes, I'm fine." whispered Adelle.

Kenzo doesn't want Adelle to feel uncomfortable. He will feel guilty if he burdens Adelle, because it is the person who brought Adelle to the party, then he must also be responsible.

"Call, Ken. Long time no see" said someone greeting Kenzo.

Kenzo frowned without looking at who the person who greeted him was. A familiar voice belongs to someone he doesn't want to meet, Jassper.

Adelle and Jassper look at each other. Seeing the woman his cousin had brought was so beautiful, Jassper was eager to know who it was.

"Hallo, pretty lady. Are you Kenzo's companion?" tanya Jassper looked at Adellw fixedly.

Adelle looked at Kenzo, then at Jassper. He was silent for a moment before finally answering Jassper's question.

"Aren't you supposed to introduce yourself first, sir? your attitude is impolite," said Adelle who was smiling beautifully.

Heard Adelle's words. Kenzo was surprised, he immediately smiled happily because Jassper was humiliated by Adelle.

"Basic fool. Maybe he's embarrassing himself, "inner Kenzo.

Kenzo is amazed at Adelle who is not immediately captivated by Jassper's handsome face. Compared to other women who immediately answered and immediately familiar, Adelle more attention to ethics. As if clearly showing, if she was not an indiscriminate woman who would be able to be easily approached.

Jassper's shocked. He laughed and apologized for his insolent attitude. He introduces himself to Adelle, so that Adelle does not think badly of her anymore.

"I'm sorry, Miss. Izinkam I introduced myself. I'm Jassper Luwigh, Kenzo's cousin" Jassper said, introducing himself to Adelle.

"I'm Adelle," Adelle answered briefly expressionlessly.

Jassper frowned, "What the hell is this woman. He just mentioned a name, and that's it without smiling?" inner Jassper.

Jasper smiled, "You have no intention of answering my question before. Are you Kenzo's companion?" ask Jassper.

"Yes, as you can see." replied Adelle.

Jassper was upset. Usually women will start to be hooked and even start a conversation first with him. But this time it was different, the woman before him did not even consider her existence.

Because Kenzo was called by someone else, Kenzo immediately took Adelle away. Adelle just looked at Jassper and looked down without speaking, as if with body language alone she said that she had to leave.

"Hahaha .. This is crazy! he caught my attention," Inner Jassper smiled wryly.

Jassper stared at the departure of Kenzo and Adelle. Seeing Adelle's hand held tightly by Kenzo, made her misunderstand. If Adelle was probably more than just a party driver.

Finished talking with some people, Kenzo and Adelle finally could have free time alone. Kenzo looked tired, his forehead was sweating.

"Are you okay, Ken?" ask Adelle.

"Yes, I'm fine." replied Kenzo.

Adelle brought her forehead closer and pressed it against Kenzo's forehead. He could feel Kenzo's warm body temperature. Kenzo is shocked, but he has no chance to dodge or deny what Adelle is doing.

"I'm a little dizzy. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm sleep-deprived" Kenzo said.

Adelle continues to persuade Kenzo that he should take a break. Adelle even offered Kenzo to sleep at the hotel to get better.

Kenzo refused. He won't sleep at the hotel because he doesn't want anyone to know, he's sick. Not to mention there is a Jassper who could continue to bother him. 

"Can I go to your place?" ask Kenzo.

"Yes? Wh-what? you mean my apartment?" adelle asked to confirm what she heard.

Kenzo nodded his head, "I have no other purpose. If anyone finds out I'm sick, that person can report to my assistant. I don't want to hear his scolding right now" Kenzo explained.

Adelle was silent for a moment. Looking at the pale face and sweat that kept coming out, made Adelle unsettled. He agreed with Kenzo's request.

They immediately, say goodbye and immediately leave the hotel to Adelle's apartment.

Adelle replaces Kenzo driving. Before reaching the destination, Adelle stopped by the drugstore to buy drugs that would be needed. In its place there are not many drugs, it would be better if it has a complete supply as needed. After the drugstore, Adelle takes Kenzo to her apartment.

Ten minutes later. Adelle and Kenzo to the parking lot. Adelle immediately pushed Kenzo into the apartment building. They stood in front of the elevator, waiting. Soon the elevator doors opened, Adelle and Kenzo entered.

Adelle pressed the floor button of her room. He looked at Kenzo, and asked Kenzo to hold him in a moment. Kenzo nodded his head, although he felt like he was going to faint, but he tried to hold back so as not to spit out Adelle.

The elevator doors open, Adelle and Kenzo exit and walk towards Adelle's room. Arriving in front of the room, Adelle immediately entered the door password and opened the door.

"Finally we arrive" said Adelle relieved.

He immediately took Kenzo inside and placed Kenzo on the couch. Adelle helps Kenzo uncoat, remove the tie and unbutton some Kenzo shirts. Adelle even took off the arm buttons from the shirt that Adelle was wearing.

"Lay down, I'll bring you a warm towel and have a drink. Oh, ja. Because you ate nothing. Shall I make you some porridge? it just happens that there is rice, I just cook it," Adelle said.

"Yes, whatever. Sorry to bother you," replied Kenzo limp.

Adelle immediately laid Kenzo on the sofa. After that he rushed to the kitchen to cook the porridge. Seeing Adelle from afar who seemed busy because of her pain treatment, Kenzo made her remember the mother. Her mother used to be, too, because her mother was very worried that Kenzo was hurt or sick.

"It's very similar" muttered Kenzo who immediately fell asleep.

Adelle finished cooking porridge. He took a bowl and put it on the tray. He took a teapot and a glass which he also put on a tray. Adelle immediately brought a tray to the living room.

Put the tray on the table. Adelle saw Kenzo sleeping. He returned to the kitchen to get a basin of warm water and a small towel.

Carefully Adelle touched Kenzo's cheek with her hand. Unsure, Adelle puts her forehead closer to Kenzo's forehead to check Kenzo's temperature again.

"His temperature is getting higher," Adelle's inner.

Adelle wanted to stand up, but she found it difficult because her hair was stuck in a Kenzo shirt. I don't want Adelle to take it off first.

Feeling something move, Kenzo opened his eyes. He saw Adelle was busy doing something with her shirt. Kenzo's hand held Adelle's hand, leaving Adelle shocked. Adelle looked away at Kenzo, and Kenzo looked at Adelle.
