Chapter Two Nine

The next day ....

Adelle opened her eyes when she heard her phone ring. When I saw it was a message from Jessica. After reading and replying to the message, Adelle put the phone back on the nightstand. He turned his gaze to his side, he did not find Kenzo there.

"Has he gone to work?" adelle muttered.

Adelle looks lethargic. He was limp and reluctant to get up from a lying position. He pulled the blanket back and changed his sleeping position. Before long the door opened, Kenzo came and woke Adelle up.

"Darling, are you still sleeping?" call Kenzo

Adelle looked away, "Oh, I think you've left for work." Adelle.

Kenzo sat on the edge of the bed, "I've made you your favorite breakfast. Go and take a shower. We have breakfast together and I'll take you to the office" Kenzo said.

"Have you taken a shower?" ask Adelle.

Kenzo smiled, "Why? want to shower together?" Kenzo Temptation.

"W-what? I'm just asking why your mind is so far away. You pervert," said Adelle, covering her face with a blanket.

Adelle's face flushed. He never imagined Kenzo would dare to say that. Although he and Kenzo live together, but they never do anything out of bounds.

Kenzo opens Adelle's blanket, "Hurry to take a shower. Your breakfast will be cold" Kenzo said.

"Yes, I took a shower. There go," said Adelle.

"You kicked me out? very brave, yes. Just watch out I'll bite you" said Kenzo, who attacked Adelle.

Kenzo tickles Adelle and makes Adelle laugh until she cries in amusement.

"Stop, Ken. Geli .. hahaha .. " said Adelle.

Kenzo looked at Adelle, "I love you" said Kenzo kissing Adelle's forehead.

Adelle hugged Kenzo, "I love you too, Ken." Adelle replied.

Adelle rubbed her face against Kenzo's chest. He said he was lazy to do anything, but he had to go to work. I don't know why Adelle was feeling so excited.

"You sick?" ask Kenzo.

She looked at Adelle. He touched Adelle's forehead with his hand to check her body temperature.

"Do you take a holiday. Step on Jessice to back off all your schedules today to another day. You're too tired, so it's like this." Kenzo.

"I'm not sick. Just lazy. Don't put on a face like this" said Adelle rubbing Kenzo's handsome face right in front of her.

Kenzo hugged Adelle again. He asked Adelle to follow his words. He did not want his beloved to be sick. Not wanting to upset Kenzo, Adelle also recited the word Kenzo. He will contact Jessica and ask Jessica to rearrange her schedule.

"Yes, I'll call Jessica later. I'm going to the bathroom first" said Adelle.

"When you feel your body is fine. Don't force. After the shower, wear warm clothes. Understood it? I'll wait outside, all warming up the milk for you" said Kenzo.

After breakfast, Adelle calls Jessica. Tell him if he doesn't come to the office because he's not feeling well. Adelle asks to reschedule her daily schedule to Jessica, and apologizes. He should still be able to enter, but Kenzo forbids. Since Kenzo had already voiced out, he could not argue. Adelle told Jessica that, and Jessica just laughed.

"Darling, are you ready?" asked Kenzo peeking out from behind the door.

Adelle looked at Kenzo, "Ah, yes. I'm going out." replied Adelle.

Adelle put the phone in her bag and brought the tasy out of the room. In front of Kenzo's room stood waiting. They then go together. Kenzo has a guest and must go to the Star Hotel immediately. Because Adelle did not want to be left, Kenzo also took Adelle away.

Somewhere else. The residence of Eric Jonathan. Jassper was invited by Eric to talk about something. At first, both speakers were fine. Until the moment Eric gave a large envelope containing dirty things that had been done Jassper behind Eric.

"What is this, Cake?" jassper asked, staring at a large brown envelope on the table in front of him.

"Look at it" Eric answered.

The Jassper hesitates to take the envelope and open it. He took out all the contents that turned out to be evidence of his crimes so far. Jassper's eyes widened, then before long his forehead wrinkled.

"W-what, this? where did Grandpa find it?" inner Jassper.

Jassper felt, all this time he always cleaned up evidence. Because he does not want to damage the family's good name, especially if his actions are discovered by his father.

"What is all this, Cake?" jassper looked at Eric. "Where did Grandpa get this?" ask Jassper again.

Eric stared at Jassper, "Is that all you can do? You're so useless, Jassper." Eric criticizes Jassper.

"Don't criticize me like that, Grandpa. Who said I was useless? I could have done it all if Grandpa had a little bit of trust and hope in me. It's not favoritism to me" said Jassper grumbling.

"Pick you? tell me, where do I choose love? look at your parents, Grandpa abandoned them even though Grandpa knows what your parents did to Kenzo's parents. Think, Jassper. Use your head properly and correctly. Don't look only at one side." Eric was upset.

Jassper hush. He did not know what his grandfather meant. He thought, What did his parents do to Kenzo's parents? To the extent that his Grandfather looked angry and upset.

"Can you explain what Grandpa means? What have you done to your Uncle and Aunt?" jassper looked at his grandfather.

Eric shook his head massaging the base of his nose slowly. It felt like Eric was eager to uncover all the rottenness of his eldest son and daughter-in-law who had acted beyond the limits.

"That's not necessary to know. What you need to pay attention to now is, no longer bother and harass Kenzo. Grandpa's gonna turn a blind eye to the last thing you did to Kenzo. Don't let anything happen to her again, or Grandpa will really teach you a lesson. Understood?" eric stared hard.

Jassper frowned, "Yet Grandpa threatened me. It's up to Grandpa, I go first" said Jassper standing up from the sofa.

"My words aren't just a warning, Jassper. This time Grandpa will act justly by punishing anyone who dares to hurt Kenzo. Even if it's you, or your parents" Eric warned.

Jassper leaves with a brown envelope containing all the evidence of his crimes with a big heart. He still did not understand his Grandfather's thoughts. Still think that his grandfather chose love and only love Kenzo only.

For Jassper, Kenzo was a huge stumbling block he had to get rid of. He also wanted to be seen in Grandpa's eyes. It's not just Kenzo who looks and is praised. Until it makes Jassper sick.
