The Second Ring
Chapter Two Three

Kenzo just finished his work with his Assistant. He immediately said goodbye to his assistant to return to the room.

"You went to the room? not going to the apartment?" ask the Assistant.

"Why go there if the owner is in the room" Kenzo said.

"Ah, so. All right, please have fun, sir." seduced the Assistant smiled.

"Yes, you quickly tidy it up and go home. Tomorrow comes noon" said Kenzo.

The assistant nodded her head, and thanked Kenzo for kindly giving her a long break.

On the way to his room. Kenzo's mind was filled with something, Jassper. Kenzo did not know, what Jassper planned, so made some of his acquaintances turn to side with Jassper.

"He started moving. He thought that by influencing some people would be able to dethrone my position? Don't hope," inward Kenzo.

He quickened his footsteps to the elevator. He pressed the elevator button and waited for the elevator door to open. Not long after the elevator doors opened, and Kenzo entered.  He saw the clock in his left hand, it was almost midnight. Thinking, if Adelle must have slept.

Kenzo opens the room. He was greeted by Adelle who ran up to him. Kenzo hugged his lover's body tightly.

"Not slept?" ask Kenzo.

"Yet. I waited for you. Is your job done? Is there a problem?" adelle asked to release a hug.

"My work is done. There was a little problem, but it was resolved. You're not sleepy? Look at this face of yours, looking very tired" said Kenzo cupped Adelle's face and brought her face closer to Adelle's face until their noses met.

"I'm not tired. You will always be there to be my entertainer, as well as my back" Adelle said with a beautiful smile.

Somewhere else. The Lalisa apartment. An upset James was having a drink in the living room. He did not expect, he would be enlisted by Kenzo, who is the future husband of his ex-wife.

"Damn it! that son of a bitch is so brave he underestimated me" James said angrily.

Lalisa was standing behind the sofa where James was sitting. He asked, who is this bastard talking about and why is James drinking?

"What are you doing in the middle of the night, huh? isn't it working tomorrow?" ask Lalisa.

"Shut up and sleep there. Don't bother me" said James unconcernedly.

Lalisa summarized the glass and bottle of wine on the table, but her hand was immediately pushed aside by James so that the glass Lalisa held fell to the floor and broke.

James was angry, he was not happy if his words were denied. James asked Lalisa to sleep, and not disturb her. But Lalisa did not want to and they both argued.

"Why do you always make me repeat words, Lalisa? can't you just understand me a little?" james stared intently at Lalisa.

"What's? understand you? James, have I not understood you all this time? you can talk like that after what I've been doing all this time" Lalisa said.

"As far as you are. Do as you please" said James. Who immediately left.

Lalisa does not want to leave, she follows James and embraces James' arm, asking him not to leave.

"Where are you going in the middle of the night? don't go" Lalisa said.

James tried to take his hand off Lalisa, "I need some calm. Here you are just asking me to fight. I'm tired of having to fight with you all the time" James said.

"I'm not fighting you, James. You're the one who always pisses me off so I reprimand you." lalisa replied not wanting to be blamed.

James looked at Lalisa, "Look, you don't even want to admit what your mistake was and argue that I upset you? You know, I need strength. Not this and that or your complaint. Every time I come home from work, you never once ask me how I'm doing at the office, am I okay? I have a problem, how my job or something that can make me tell what I complain. You just keep asking, what time did you just come home? what did you do until you came home late, then nagged until my ears were hot. I'm patient enough to see your condition being pregnant. But I actually can't take it anymore. I'm tired, Lalisa. I'm tired" said James, pulling out his entire heart all this time.

Lalisa. He could only see James' departure without preventing it anymore. Lalisa just found out, a lot of things that James complained to her so far.

"Why is he talking now?" inner Lalisa.

Unknowingly Lalisa's tears fell. Lalisa finally cried. As she cried, her already bloated stomach tightened. Lalisa rubbed her stomach and kept on crying.

James left the apartment and took a taxi to his bar. He wants to continue drinking.

Arriving at the Bar. He meets the bartender who is also the owner of the Bar, an acquaintance of James. The bartender was immediately happy to see his old friend come to visit.

"Hi, James. It's been a long time" said the Bartender staring at James.

"Give me a drink" said James, who sat down.

"What's wrong? your face is grim, " said the bartender. Put James' favorite bottle of wine and an empty glass on the table in front of James.

"Diagulau. My boyfriend and I had a fight" replied James.

The bartender frowned, "Wait .. What do you mean lover? aren't you married? are you cheating and fighting with your affair?" bartender said with his thoughts.

James just remembered, his friend had just returned from abroad and there was not a month after his return. James explained that he and Adelle are divorced. He admitted that the cause of his divorce with Adelle was due to cheating.

"So you're cheating? so crazy. Where you left your head, James. You can wish a woman as beautiful as Adelle. You are wasting your chance" said the bartender speechless.

"Don't jump again. I was wrong and now I seem to be sorry" James said.

"Related always comes too late, yes. You're divorced, sorry you could what?" the bartender from behind the table looked at James.

"That's .. I can't do anything. She already has a husband" James said.

James also said that he and his future ex-wife husband had just been at odds. And James is being said.

The bartender could only shake his head when he heard James' story. He thought, of course, because James was wrong to disturb people who are not who anymore. Even so, as a good friend he tried to comfort James. He asked James to sit quietly and enjoy the wine alone, also get rid of the complicated things in James' head first.
