The Second Ring
Chapter Five

Kenzo remembers Adelle. He picked up his phone on the nightstand and called Adelle. Kenzo waited long enough, until finally his call was received by Adelle.

"Hallo, who is this?" ask Adelle at the end of the call.

"Hallo, did you Miss who helped me yesterday? it's me, the man in your car" replied Kenzo.

"Sorry, I'm busy. I hung up on you" said Adelle.

"Wait a minute, Miss. I ... "Kenzo's call was terminated unilaterally by Adelle.

Kenzo frowned. This was the first time someone else had just ended his call. There has never been anyone who has been as unkind as Adelle. Even all the women lined up to get to know him.

"Huh  ... (Kenzo sighed) what the fuck that woman is. He didn't know who I was until he ended my call. If he knew, maybe he would be just like everyone else." - Kenzo.

Not giving up just like that. Kenzo sent a message to Adelle. He asked Adelle to send an account number, so that she could pay the fee she had promised to Adelle.

"Ah, stop. I'm not gonna force it. I hope he reads my message and replies. At least I should thank that Miss for helping me" Kenzo said.

Tired of just being in the room, Kenzo got up from his sitting position, he walked away leaving the room and moved into the living room to read a book.

A few moments later, his phone shook. He thought it was the answer to a message from his helper Miss. It turned out that it was a message from someone else who was a special informant. Shortly after reading the message, Kenzo's forehead wrinkled. His hand clasped the phone tightly as if he wanted to smash the phone that second as well. For some reason, Kenzo seemed to be holding back his anger.

"He's been crazy and completely shameless. How dare you Jassper, I won't stand still if you treat me like this." Kenzo said.

One month later. Ellie gave good news about her pregnancy. During the three years of marriage, she and her husband finally got a baby. As a form of gratitude for the gifts that have been received, he held a dinner event.

"Darling, I want to call Adelle first, yeah" Ellie told her husband.

Thomas's phone rang. He received a call from someone.

"Ah, yes, dear. I got a call. I lift up first, yes." replied Thomas smilingly sucked his wife's head.

Thomas receives a call, and Ellie contacts Adelle.

After contacting Adelle, Ellie returned to the kitchen to cook dinner. She saw her husband sitting on the couch playing games on his cell phone.

"It's over?" thomas looked at his wife.

"Yes, already. Adelle said it might be too late." replied Ellie.

"Oh, so. It's okay, we understand because he's a busy man. After all, Adelle's your best friend" Thomas replied with a smile.

"You are very understanding, my dear. Ah ... Who called you earlier? what client?" ask Ellie.

"Kenzo's. He just came back from out of town and called me because he had time" Thomas replied to his wife.

"Ken-zo's? hm ... (Ellie rolled her eyes) Do I know her?" muttered Ellie.

"Did you forget about him. That, Kenzo Jonathan. He's my little friend. He and I used to be pretty familiar, but since my parents moved to this town, we lost communication. We just met again by accident at a dinner party three years ago. It was the same time I first met you" Thomas explained.

"Ah, so. What if you invite him to come for dinner together. Aren't we just gonna eat three at that big table? there's no harm in adding one more person" Ellie suggested.

Ellie smiled, she walked slowly towards the kitchen to return to cooking. He had prepared various kinds of ingredients that he would by becoming a delicious food. One of the menus that he will cook is the favorite menu of the friend, Adelle.

Adelle just finished a meeting. He looked at the watch that was wrapped around his left hand.

"It's just like this hour. Though I summarized all the contents of the meeting this afternoon so as not to take time, but it turned out to be useless. Where is the time to choose a gift, if this?" adelle was a little disappointed.

In fact, he quickly finished his work so that he could find a gift to take him to visit Ellie's house.

"Mr Director .. "call Jessica.

"Ah, i-yes. You're not coming home? it's office hours, right." asked Adelle to look at Jessica.

Adelle was silent for a moment, then smiled. She looked at Jessica with sparkling eyes.

"Your words, Jessy. Thank you, yes. I'll go home first. Get the documents straight and go home. Dahh .. "the saying of Adelle who immediately walked quickly to her room.

Jessica smiled at the passing of her Boss. He was happy to provide useful input.

At seven o'clock in the night. Adelle comes to Ellie's house with flowers, and Ellie's favorite cake. Seeing the arrival of the friend, of course Ellie welcomed with a happy heart. He hugged Adelle until he was breathing hard.

"Hey, enough! He-stop, El. I can't breathe." said Adelle gasping.

"Oh, sorry. I'm too happy. Haha .." replied Ellie chuckling.

Adelle was happy to see the friend in front of her laughing without burden. What you want, is now obtained. Ellie's wait has paid off.

"Congratulations, yes. I was so happy to hear the good news from you earlier" Adelle said with a beautiful smile.

"Thank you for coming, Adelle. Honestly, I'm very, very, very happy" Ellie said with a beautiful smile.

"Hi, Adelle. You've come apparently" said Thomas, who had just come out of the room.

"Oh, hi .. long time no see, Thom. How are you?" ask Adelle.

"Well, that's fine. You alone?" ask Thomas back.

Adelle smiled, "Yes, you must be very nice. Seen from your radiant face. Congratulations to you for being a father. Good news, too" replied Adelle.

Thomas, Ellie and Adelle sat talking on the living room couch. They continued chatting casually. Not long after, Ellie and Thomas' house bell rang. All eyes were directed towards the main door.

"Ah, that must be your friend, dear. Open it up" Ellie said.

"Yes, it must be him. Wait, yes .. " replied Thomas. He stood up from his sitting position and rushed towards the main door.
