The Second Ring
Chapter Two Five

Kenzo and Adelle meet at the hotel's restaurant. He prepared a special lunch for Adelle. He also introduced a new cook to Adelle.

The dishes are on the table, and Adelle and Kenzo have lunch together. Adelle manatp Kenzo, her beloved looks moody.

"Honey .. " call Adelle.

Adelle's call was ignored. Either because Kenzo is daydreaming and out of focus, or because Adelle's voice is too small.

"Honey .. " call Adelle again.

"He why? did he not hear my call that he was daydreaming?" inner Adelle.

Adelle stood up from her seat and approached Kenzo.

"Ken .." call Adelle. Pat Kenzo's shoulder.

Kenzo's shocked,"Yes? I-I'm sorry, I'm daydreaming. What's up?" asked Kenzo to look at Adelle.

Adelle smiled, "It's okay. I'll go to the bathroom first, yeah." Adelle.

"Oh, yeah. Go." Kenzo smiled.

Adelle leaves Kenzo. Actually going to the bathroom is just Adelle's excuse. He did not know what to say to Hansen when Hansen asked him what was going on. In the bathroom, he washed his hands and looked at the bathroom with a mirror in front of him. After washing her hands and drying them, Adelle left the bathroom.

Adelle sees Kenzo eating only a little. It was because he was repeatedly forced to eat by her. Unable to take it anymore, Adelle asks what makes Kenzo weird.

"Ken, tell me. What the hell happened to you?" ask Adelle.

Kenzo looked at Adelle, "What do you mean? I'm fine" replied Kenzo.

"Don't lie! tell me honestly now" urged Adelle.

Kenzo looked at Adelle, "Can't I tell her later?" ask Kenzo.

Adelle shook her head, "No way. Must now. Do I have to be angry first you want a story?" adelle asked staring.

Kenzo frowned. He was silent for a moment, and then started to tell stories. Kenzo told me what he was going through. He was confused and had trouble.

"So that's why you're confused?" ask Adelle.

Kenzo nodded his head, "That's bukam only, dear. It's easy for you to say that. Right now I'm dizzy thinking about how to persuade one of the two people" Kenzo said.

"That's it. If I persuade them, and succeed. What gift can you offer me?" ask Adelle.

Kenzo looked at Adelle, "Are you able to persuade one of them? How's it?" ask Kenzo.

"Oh, that's easy. You don't know yet, yeah. That HM Construction belongs to my Mama family? The way to persuade him is to just ask and smile. My uncle's easily crushed, if I persuade. And I'm gonna find out, actually, the fucking Jassper threatened Uncle with what to be reluctant to accept the Star Mall project." replied Adelle.

"What did you say? You are the nephew of the Chairman of HM Construction? didn't I hear wrong?" Kenzo was surprised to the point of puzzling himself.

"Ah, so. Well, whatever way you can help me, I'd be very grateful. As a reward, I'll give you ten percent of Star Mall shares. How's it?" bargain Kenzo.

Adelle twists the eyeball, "Hmm. I concur. So I just need to persuade my Uncle to accept the Star Mall project, right? is there anything else to say?" Ask Adelle.

"If I may, I'd like to meet and ask you directly why your Uncle changed his mind. He and I have never fought or fought. We are fine until the last cooperation project. I was really surprised because he just refused without explanation." explained Kenzo.

"Ok, I'll try everything I can. You pray for me, so that I can persuade Uncle, yes." said Adelle smiling.

"Thank you, baby." said Kenzo.

"Thank you later if I make it. Well, let's just keep eating. I'm going to see my uncle right away after this." said Adelle.

After Adelle said it would help, Kenzo was able to eat quietly. Adelle is relieved, at least he will try even though it feels will be difficult. Adelle thought, Jasaper must have used two ways to stop his Uncle from accepting the Star Mall project. One because Jassper threatened his Uncle. It was possible that Jassper knew his Uncle's weakness or disgrace. And second, because Jassper promised something. And that's a very good offer.

As much as possible Adelle will find out everything. He couldn't let Jassper act on his own. Moreover, one of the ones in the nuisance is his family.

Ten minutes later ....

After lunch is over. Adelle will be ready soon. He was quick to leave Kenzo who was still sitting sweet. Adelle didn't want to waste a second's time.

Kenzo stared at the lover's departure. She hopes her boyfriend is okay and brings good news to her.

Adelle went to her uncle's company. He immediately went to his Uncle Secretary and reported if he wanted to meet. Her Uncle's secretary said, Uncle Adelle is having a guest. Adelle thanked him, and was willing to wait because there was urgent business.

Adelle waited long enough. About fifteen minutes. Out of curiosity for his Uncle's guests not to come out, Adelle also contacted the Uncle via cellphone.

Adelle's uncle answered Adelle's call. Once the call was received, Adelle immediately said, if he was in his Uncle's office and wanted to meet.

Adelle ended her call. Not long after Uncle Adelle entered the waiting room and told Uncle Adelle to meet.

Adelle nodded her head. He walked after his Uncle Secretary who walked slowly towards the Uncle's workroom.

"Please, Miss" said the Secretary after knocking on the door and opening the door.

The secretary invited Adelle into his uncle's room.

"Thank you" Adelle answered smiling.

Adelle walked into the room with a big smile. He met his uncle again. But what happened was beyond her expectations. In her Uncle's study, Adelle meets Jassper who is sitting on the couch.

"Hi, dear .. "greet Uncle Adelle.

Adelle looked at her Uncle, "Uncle .. Why is she here?" adelle asked who threw her gaze at Jassper.

Adelle frowned. He was immediately annoyed when he saw Jassper's face. Adelle wants to sink Jassper to the bottom of the sea.
