"What's up, Susi?" Herman rushed to Susi who had been waiting for her arrival.
"Mas Herman, come here!" Susi pulls Herman by the hand and takes him to sit down on the sofa in the front room.
"Susi, you haven't answered my question. What's the matter, actually? Has Virna been found?" asked Herman with a surprised face.
Susi sobbed while handing her phone to Herman. "Let's wait a minute, they'll definitely call me and Mas talk to them" Susi said.
"They? Who are they?!" Herman grabbed the phone from Susi's hand while looking at her without blinking a single bit.
"They, the kidnappers who kidnapped Virna, Mas. Virna was kidnapped and they asked us to give her some money to pay for Virna" Susi explained as she sobbed at Herman.
"What's? Virna's been kidnapped!" peekit Hermann.
Just now Susi opened her lips to reply to Herman, suddenly her phone rang. The kidnappers again dialed Susi's mobile number.
"Vyrna?!" pekik Herman while showing Virna's name on the screen of Susi's phone.
Susi shook her head slowly. "No, Mas. That's them, the kidnappers" Susi continued.
Herman rushed to receive the call and placed the phone next to his ear.
"Hallo?"
"Hallo, Mr. Herman! How are you doing? I'm sure Ms. Susi's been talking to you about who we really are, right?" tell the man.
"I've told your wife before that Virna is fine. But that doesn't mean he'll be like that forever. Virna's salvation is in your hands. If you want Virna to be safe then give us some money" the man said.
"alright. Tell me, how much do you want?" Herman put his ears together to hear the kidnapper's answer.
"One billion we think is enough" said the man, grinning thinly.
"One billion! Are you guys crazy? Where did we get that kind of money!" herman with a panicked face.
The man chuckled. "Oh come on, Mr. Herman. That kind of money is nothing to you. You're rich people."
"You're on the wrong target, sir! We are just ordinary people and that one billion dollars is something that we are unlikely to get in the near future" Herman said.
Again the man laughed. "It's none of our business and we don't want to know, anyway you have to hand over the money tomorrow morning. If you can't give it away, then get ready to welcome your daughter's corpse" she replied without a burden.
"What! Hello-hallo!" Herman still wants to talk to the guy. However, the call was again decided.
"You saw, right, Susi! This is all due to your arrogance!" annoyed Herman while throwing the phone to the sofa, right next to Susi who was still sobbing in that place.
Susi lifted her head and she looked at Herman as she paled without saying a word. Fighting was useless because Herman was right, everything that happened to Virna was the result of his actions.
"If you weren't proud to show off all your jewelry, this might never happen! If you had listened to your useless husband once, Virna might still be safe with us!" herman shouted with emotion.
"I'm sorry, Mom! I'm sorry" Susi said as she dropped herself in front of Herman and hugged her husband's leg.
"Take off my legs! Everything has happened and will never go back to how it was, Susi! Now you think about where we're looking for a billion dollars to hand over tomorrow morning to the kidnappers!"
"Sa-one billion, Mas?" Susi lifted her head and looked at Herman who still looked emotional.
"Yes! A billion! The amount of money that is impossible to get in the near future. Especially tomorrow!" upset Herman.
"Yes, God!" screech Susi and back sobbing.
