"Mas! Julian, wait!" call Dea as she runs towards Julian who steps further away from her.
As Dea continued to try to get closer, Julian finally stopped his steps. He turned around and faced Dea with a sour face.
"What else do you want here?" ketus Julian's.
"Ehm, Julian. Can we talk for a second? Just sec. I promise it won't be long" Dea said.
"Can't! I'm busy" he replied lazily.
"Just a minute, Mas. Please!" Dea gave it up, hoping that the man would be willing to spend a little time for her.
Julian left his waist and from the look on his face, the man looked saturated with the presence of Dea there. "It looks like there's nothing more we need to talk about. Isn't everything clear?"
"Yes, I know. B-but I just want to talk to you about this," Dea said as she held out a piece of paper handed over earlier this morning by one of Julian's relatives to Susi. The paper sheet reads the nominal that the family must pay to the man's family.
Julian glanced through the corner of his eye. He was very familiar with the sheet of paper that the girl was holding. How not, he also became one of those who participated in making these details.
"Oh, that!" Julian smiled sinisterly as he cast his gaze into the vast ocean that stretched right before them. "What happened to the paper? Is the nominal still not enough? Or vice versa," he continued.
Dea lowered her head while staring at the paper. "I just wanted to ask you a favor, Mom. Can't you persuade Mom to reduce the total we have to pay you?"
Julian suddenly chuckled after hearing Dea's words. The man's laughter was even heard to the place where his friends were resting for a moment. They looked at Dea and Julian. There were some among them who felt pity upon seeing the couple and some who looked indifferent.
"Why, ha? Are there too many? Oh, my gosh, Dea! Dea!" Julian laughed sinisterly while shaking his head slowly.
"Eat, Dea. If you don't have money, don't think about deceiving us. Now you got the stone, right? And just so you know. The number listed there, it's not all. There are still many details that we did not write. Because what? Because we still have pity on your family, especially your brother, Herman. So, you should be thanking me, not asking to be reduced again" Julian explained.
Dea raised her head slowly. "Even so .. This nominal feels so heavy for us, Mas. We don't know where to find this much money" Dea said once again.
Dea raised her head slowly then looked at the two beautiful bead seeds with a sad face. "I don't know."
"Because I need that money for my wedding to be done in a few months." Julian grinning.
Dea was shocked after hearing Julian's confession. With so much ease Julian said that, as if there had never been any relationship between them.
"Me-married?" screeched Dea stammering.
"Yes, I'm getting married soon."
"But, Mas. We haven't even officially divorced and for me, Mas is still my husband" Dea said.
Julian laughed again. "You don't have to worry about that. Your divorce papers will soon be received, as well as my wedding invitation. They'll soon land seamlessly into your hands."
Unwittingly, the crystal clear circle just glided from the corner of Dea's eye. He was disappointed, really disappointed. Julian's decision to remarry in the midst of their problems, made Dea even more desperate.
"Who's that lucky lady, Mas?"
"Reva, my ex-boyfriend's cousin and ex-boyfriend." Julian proudly acknowledged that in front of Dea.
"Does Mas still love Reva? Didn't Mas ever tell me that Mas didn't love that girl. So why did you decide to marry her now?"
"Yes. That was before I knew you were no longer holy. But now everything has changed. It's better that I marry Reva even if I don't love her, than to marry a cheap girl like you, '" Julian said as he pushed Dea's shoulder gently with his index finger.
Dea's tiny body retreated a few centimeters back as a result of the man's thrust. "May you always be happy, Mas" Dea said, wiping away tears and trying sincerely with all the trials that befell him
