That night, after everyone had started to dissolve in their dreams, Julian instead sat alone on the porch of his house. He tried to dial Dea's mobile number many times, but the girl did not receive his call either.
"Thank God, Dea! I beg! I want to talk to you" Julian muttered as he continued to monitor his phone screen.
Meanwhile, at Susi's residence.
The woman was upset that Dea's butut phone kept shaking and made her wake up from sleep. He grabbed the phone and looked at the screen.
"Hmm, Julian," Susi said with a cynical smile.
Not wanting to be disturbed by the sound of vibration coming from the phone, Susi decided to turn it off. Now the butut's phone is off and Julian can no longer reach him.
"Isn't this Dea's phone? Why is it on you now?" asked Herman who also woke up because of the vibration of the phone. He rubbed his eyes while watching Dea's cell phone which was now in Susi's grasp.
"Yes. This is Dea's cell phone. Why, can't you? I didn't take it. I just kept it safe until their wedding day. After that I will return this butute to the owner. But a cell phone like this, who wants it? Virna's phone is much nicer and more expensive than this," Susi annoyed while putting on a lazy face.
Susi put Dea's butut phone into a drawer next to the bed. Milk lay the same as before. He closed his eyes and tried to go back to sleep. While Herman was still silent while watching Susi's back who was now lying behind him.
The Julian residence.
"What happened to you, Dea? Why do you keep rejecting my call?" julian muttered while staring blankly at the screen of his phone.
Yes, even though Julian knew that the girl's phone was off, he didn't give up until there. He kept trying to call the number until he got tired and finally gave up.
Next day. The day before their wedding.
Susi opened the door of Dea's room while carrying a tray containing a plate of rice with a side dish of salted fish and a glass of water. After successfully opening the door, Susi immediately entered and then put the tray on the dresser owned by Dea made of wood.
"Eat! You will get sick again."
Dea, who had been lying weakly on the bed, tried to get up and sit on the edge of the bed.
Now Susi's gaze was fixed on Dea's face that looked pale. "Let's see your face! Just like this salted fish, salty is no sweetness at all! I'm sure, the bridal makeup artist who is in charge of applying you will have trouble disguising your pale face," Susi grumbled at length.
Dea was silent and did not care what her sister-in-law said. Susi approached Dea and sat down next to the girl.
"But, Brother!" Again Dea tried to protest.
"No word but! Remember, if you really love us, especially your brother, you better not do that stupid thing! Understood?!"
Susi got up from her sitting position then stepped towards the door of the room. "You understand, don't you, Dea?!" susi said once more before she completely left the narrow, stuffy room.
Dea nodded slowly. "Yes" he answered briefly and clearly.
"Good!"
Susi rushed out of the room and locked the door. After Susi died, Dea glanced beside her body, where a tray containing a plate of rice with salted fish dishes was lying. Dea grabbed the rice plate and then began to eat it.
Although only with salted fish dishes, but at least the food was able to prop up his stomach is very hungry. Yeah, since yesterday afternoon, Dea hasn't touched any food. Susi even locked him up without giving him food and drink.
It didn't feel like the afternoon was coming.
One of Julian's close relatives arrives at Susi and Herman's residence. He wanted to pick Dea up and take the girl with him.
Susi, who had just remembered that Dea was still locked up in her cramped room, rushed to the room and asked Dea to get ready.
"Hurry, Dea! The woman is waiting for you" Susi said anxiously.
"Yes, Brother. A minute!" Dea tidied up her appearance which still looked disheveled.
"Remember my message, Dea! Shut the fuck up, okay?!" susi insisted again before Dea went to see the woman.
"Yes, yeah! I see," replied Dea who was getting tired of the warning.
Dea sauntered away towards the vestibule, where the woman was already waiting for him. Susi followed behind and made sure that Dea would not tell the matter to anyone, including the woman.
