The Seed of the Heir

The Seed of the Heir
Chapter 64

After several hours of exhausting travel, Alfa and Ervan arrived at the village of Muara Asri. A fishing village that is the birth village of Dea and Herman.

"What village is this? Why are you taking me to this village, Ervan?" Alfa watched the village and tried to remember. However, there was no shadow in his head about that place.

"This is Muara Asri village. A fishing village whose lives are still very simple."

"That's all?" asked Alfa again because she was not satisfied to hear the answer of her best friend.

Ervan shook her head slowly. "We'll be there soon and I hope you can remember what happened that night, right before we had the accident."

Alfa wanted to ask again, but suddenly her attention was diverted to the children of Muara Asri village who were following her car from behind. Alfa smiled as she looked at the ridiculous level of the snot-headed boys.

Not long after, Alfa and Ervan arrived at the beach where the fateful incident occurred. After opening the door, Alfa immediately went out and looked around the place. Similarly, Ervan, assisted by his driver, he managed to get out and sit on a wheelchair, precisely beside the car.

"How, Alfa? Do you remember anything about this place?"

"A minute, a minute! I don't know why I feel so familiar about this place. That tree! That rock! And here ...." Alfa pointed towards the objects she mentioned with great enthusiasm.

"I think I've been sitting here! But for what?" Alfa continued to look around the place while remembering what had happened there. While Ervan just shut up and let his best friend try to remember him himself.

One by one the shadows began to appear on Alfa's head. The shadow where he sat by the beach with a sense of disappointment that was very very torturous.

"W-what happened to me then?" Alfa panicked, her head started to hurt.

Alfa looked at the beach and finally remembered that she had thrown a diamond ring there. The diamond ring he wanted to give to Cecilia. Alfa ran towards the beach and began to look for the whereabouts of the ring.

"What did Mr Alfa do?" asked the driver who was astonished to see the strange behavior of Alfa.

"Leave it, sir. I hope that this way, he can get all the answers that are in his head," replied Ervan who was still focused on staring at Alfa.

Suddenly Alfa approached Ervan with a sad face. His eyes were still even shedding tears at that moment.

"I remember, Ervan! I threw my ring there. The ring I'm gonna give to Cecilia!"

"And do you remember what reason you threw the ring away?" asked Ervan with some comfort.

"Yes, God! Why is that woman so shameless! He even had the heart to take advantage of my misfortune, so that he could return to my side!"

Not yet out of Alfa's shock, Ervan again tried to remind the man about the incident on the fateful night.

"Try to remember another incident, Alfa," Ervan pinta.

"What else, Ervan?" Alfa scowled her aching head and her face grew even more tangled.

"Alright, I'll give you a little shadow so listen carefully."

Alfa nodded and put her ears on well.

"That day you took me and Arman to this place for fun. We put up a big tent there." Ervan pointed to a place where his tent had stood firmly there.

"Then?" Alfa tried to recall it even though her head was dizzy and heavy.

"We're drunk, Alpha. Until one of the girls passed right on this street ...." Ervan pointed at the empty space beside him, where Dea had tried to pass them.

Alfa closed her eyes and again, those shadows flashed back through her mind little by little. Where he vaguely saw the shadow of a plain girl they had worked for that night.

"Yes, my God, my head! My head feels like it's going to break, Ervan!" screeched Alfa while tightly holding her head with both hands.

The shadow of that fateful incident was increasingly evident in his head. He could even clearly hear the moaning sound coming out of Dea's mouth. Which at that time was deliberately gagged with Ervan's shirt so that he could not scream. Until finally Alfa remembered the last part, when he heard the voice of someone calling the girl's name.

"Dea!" (Voice in the shadow of Alpha.)

Alpha's eyes are perfectly rounded. "Dea-Dea?!" peekik Alpha.

Ervan smiled with satisfaction. He was so happy because finally Alfa remembered everything.
