A few hours later.

As Julian's mother had said earlier, the man's extended family came in droves to the residence of Herman and his wife. From the old to the young, all gathered inside the humble house.

Dea sat next to Herman and Susi with her head bowed. Julian and his mother were sitting right in front of them. Julian's sharp gaze kept on Dea. From the man's gaze, it was clearly hatred and also his disappointment that was so deep.

"Hmm, what's the matter, huh? Why are you gathering like this?" susi asked with a bitter smile looking at the Julian family lined up before her.

"I'm sure Dea told you everything. Right, Dea?" Julian's mother glared at Dea, who was still bowing her head.

"So, you don't have to pretend you don't know anymore because everything is clear. We came here to solve this problem" Julian's mother said.

Susi swerved towards Herman. "alright. Then just say it! No need to beat around the bush."

Julian's mother smiled cynically. "First! We want to return Dea to you and from now on, this girl is not my son's responsibility anymore. Second! We want all the money we spent on Dea and Julian's wedding expenses to be refunded."

Dea wanted to refuse, but she was helpless and was forced to let the woman take the ring back from her ring finger.
